Chapter 10 “Guild”
The night was over and through the window the sunlight has entered the Alice’s room. Although she did not wake up from her bed but from an object called “Virtual Reality Capsule”. She spent in it, her whole day but she wasn’t really that tired. Staying in VRC was just like sleeping. Even if you were working hard inside the game you real body was resting.
Alice changed her clothes and went down to the kitchen.
-good morning, mom.
She said as she entered the room. Unfortunately, Alice’s mom was not in the best mood right now.
-Alice! We need to talk.
-what is it? Also is there any breakfast?
Anari answered while yawning without realizing her mother’s mood.
-here.
-thanks.
-Alice, I know that you have holiday right now and doesn’t have much to do but how can you play a game for the whole week!?
“Ooo.”
After this one sentence Alice know that it was time to get scolded, still she tried to avoid that.
-that is… it’s not simple game mom.
-yes, yes, I heard of advertising. What is happing it this world is beyond my understanding.
-see, dad also plays it all day so what’s the problem?
-no! He is working with it, not playing. Alice you can’t just spend your whole day and night playing games, sleep normally at least!
-but if I sleep in the game I can sleep five times longer.
-that talk again. Somehow I don’t believe it works like normal sleep. That talk about having more time also doesn’t seem real.
-but it’s true mom. For me as I entered the capsule and now returned, 4 days have passed.
Alice’s mom somehow didn’t believe it but soon she said.
-maybe I should try as well.
-you will see my point, but this isn’t an easy game.
-and since when did you become expert in the games?
-no, no I am not an expert. I beginner as well, I am rather useless in fact.
Alice quickly explained herself.
-I see. Still, speaking about the games, you know that your friend is back.
But then suddenly her mom changed the subject.
-… .
Alice did already meet that friend once. Still, even though she wanted to see him for so long, somehow it didn’t go the way she wanted. Even with her usual negative thinking, she never thought of a scenario in which he first completely forget about her and then tell her that he doesn’t want to see her again.
-I remember when you were little. You were always running after him but at the end of the day he would always bring you back as if you were his little sister. Thanks to that I didn’t have to worry too much that you will get lost or something will happen to you while you were outside…
Her mother continued.
“Little sister eh…”
-anyway I saw him while he was jogging around the town. He even remembered me and said good morning, good kid…
“She remembers my mom yet he doesn’t remember me.”
What her mother told her depressed her even more.
-anyway Alice, why don’t you go and great him as well?
-em… I already seen him.
-is that so and here I thought that you didn’t even know about it, because you played all this time.
-… .
Alice once again remembered of the time ‘her friend’ got angry at her and said that he doesn’t want to talk with her ever again. She knew that something was wrong as he also mentioned that he told others where he went, which was clearly lie. Alice asked almost everyone about him and no one knew a thing. She couldn’t understand it. Maybe she just didn’t understand people as good as she thought. In similar way, she couldn’t understand her new friend Arata.
-mom, do you know why Arthur has moved out?
Alice once again tried to ask her mom again.
-Anari, don’t pray in other people business. You are his friend right?
Although he said that she isn’t his friend anymore, Alice couldn’t just forget about him and act like they never knew each other.
-shouldn’t I know if I am his friend?
-if he doesn’t want to talk about it just leave it alone, people have things that they don’t want to talk about…
“It would be good if I knew it before.” were Alice’s thought but even if her mom told her this before she probably would still ask.
-anyway Alice, what are you going to do now?
-em in three hours I go back to the game.
-but you just finished!
Her mom wasn’t very happy with her answer.
-I promise my friends that I will be back.
-…
Her mom took a large breath and continued.
-okay, I understand Alice, that thing is popular right now, I understand, I understand. Play to your heart concern.
-really?
-but under one condition.
-yes what is it?
-you have to do something healthy outside as well. I don’t know what exactly but you can’t spend all your time in home. Join some sport club or something.
-but I am not good at any sports. I can’t do that.
-…yes it wouldn’t be a good idea I guess. In that case imitate your friend and let’s say every three days go jogging for an hour or so, anyone can run after all, if you do that I won’t complain anymore.
-wawa, an hour! There is no way I can run for that long. I will be at my limits after five minutes.
-well, I am not expecting you to run all that time. When you get tired slow down and walk till you can run again. Anyway, it’s for your own good. You can start up after eating.
-fine, I accept. But I will start tomorrow. Bye.
-hey!
Alice ran back to her room at the first floor. Then she went to take a shower. After that she still had some time before agreed time so she lay on the bed. Then she recalled recent events.
After she reached the village Loris, she decided to follow her friend’s advice and look for the guild. Well, she didn’t know where to look or how to look for it. Still, she didn’t give up and continued through the village. The moment she reached the center of the village a man in red-grey armor started to started moving in her direction. The moment he did that Alice got scared and started to run away as fast as possible. Still her worst worry appeared to be true and the man’s target was her. She couldn’t run away from him no matter how hard she tried although the man didn’t try to stop her and was just running next to her and was continually talking ignoring the fact that she was running away.
After some time Alice decided that it time to give up and listen to the man. He once again introduced himself. His name was Gerald but because he wanted to be called a leader she did call him that. He explained to her that he is looking for people to his guild. Alice wanted to join a guild so it was surprisingly lucky on her part but as she heard about the test that she would needed to pass she explained that she is a beginner and have no chances at all to complete it. To that the man asked her, how she ended up with white wizard profession. Alice was little surprised that he knew her class but there probably was some way to do it and she simply didn’t know that way yet. She then told him about her adventure in the city of beginners and that her class was all thanks to the luck and the person that helped her. Still, Gerald didn’t want to give up after hearing all that as he said that her class is really rare. He said that it would be easier to teach her how to play rather than finding someone else with that class, although she still had to go for that test. Following her friend’s advice, Alice asked Gerald if the person that helped her can join as well. To that he only answered that he can give him the same test but he won’t invite anyone simply because he was asked to do so. Her friend had to normally pass the test like everyone else or rather like no one else because no one managed to do it yet. Still, Alice didn’t worry about that as she had faith in Arata’s ability. Still the problem was that she had no way to contact him. To that Gerald just said “-leave it to me”.
Although it took some time, after four days Gerald come back with her friend Arata. After that, they traveled to the place where the test was going to be held. During the journey Arata and Gerald keep arguing with each other nonstop. Before they even started to walk, there was already duel between them. It was funny for her seeing Arata struggle so much as it was unusual for him.
The problem was that Gerald didn’t stop just on Arata. He also bullied her, saying things like she and Arata fit each other.
“It’s not like I want to go out with him!”
That was the truth. Alice didn’t think about him in that way. She never had a boyfriend before and the only one that she ever considered dating would be her friend Arthur. But even so, after their last meeting Alice somehow lost her trust in men.
Of course she was interested in Arata and wanted to continually play with him as he was the first person she had met it the game, and she already had few great adventures with him. Still, saying interested in doesn’t mean interested in romantic way.
“He likes the big boobs anyway, idiot!”
At some point she found out about his fetish and even though Alice was trying to drink a glass of milk everyday it didn’t help her much.
After few hours of walk they reached the dungeon and the trial began. During it, Arata was the same as always, prepared for everything, doing impossible feats one after another. Alice just followed his instruction and gave her best at shooting fireballs. From the very start to the very end of challenge following Arata’s command, her party was defeating one group after another. Then they finally managed to reach the last boss.
“He couldn’t deal with masses of kobolds so he also has flaws!”
When they fought the last boss, Arata decided to give up at some point and Anari saved the day but that didn’t looked like he couldn’t manage alone.
Arata always thought of the plan in which she and the other three that were with them didn’t die. If he was alone, he would probably manage it somehow. That’s how it looked to her.
Even though Alice could kill off armies of kobolds using only one skill, wining didn’t even consider killing them in the first place. Once again Alice reminded herself of her uselessness.
Arata spotted that difference and alone went to fight with gigantic kobold. She didn’t see what he was doing there but one way or another, Arata has slain the ‘main boss’ and the small kobolds stooped coming. With that she and her party already celebrated the victory but that was not enough as even though the main boss was dead, his minion giant kobold was still alive. Because Arata couldn’t move, he told her and the rest that they should run away. Alice didn’t want to be the only one to survive after Arata did everything by himself so together with other party members they tried to at least help him escape. It was going good but as it turned out, one can’t escape the boss fight so there was nothing left that they could do.
At that moment something really unusual happened. Arata apologized to them. It was very strange for Arata to do something like that but even more surprising was that he started to cry as well. Even before, he was already acting weird. Anari wanted to tell him that it’s not true and he did more than anyone would ask him for, but somehow she felt that her words won’t reach him. That no matter what she says it will have absolutely no effect and that she wouldn’t be able to help him. However there appeared the words that stop Arata’s tears. It were a simple words that come from Gerald as he rescued them from unavoidable death.
“’-don’t be so hard on yourself Arata’ such simple words but I couldn’t say them.”
Even though it was simple, Alice also knew that it was not only the words that were needed but the way that Gerald said them. Sure they didn’t make Arata go back to his unusual self but he at least stopped crying and gave responses if someone said something to him. After that Gerald mascaraed giant kobold, and they went outside.
With his instruction she went for a break which was ending 10 minutes from now. Alice couldn’t wait anymore to ask Arata what happen so she decided to log in and wait for him there.
Anari appeared at the entrance to the dungeon. She looked around and spotted that everyone except Arata was already there. The three were doing a mock fight and Gerald was lying on the grass looking at the night sky. Anari went to him. As he spotted her, he picked up himself from the ground and said.
-our mage has returned, time to go!
The three stopped their fight and started to move in direction of Loris. Gerald started to move the same way. Anari didn’t know what happening as Arata was not here.
“He must have run somewhere and don’t want to join the guild because I am here.”
She quickly come up with the most depressing explanation to herself and run after Gerald and asked.
-leader, where is Arata?
-he said that he will go ahead and log out in the village as he has to do something afterwards.
Gerald answered normally.
-he didn’t run?
-hahaha, how could I let our twilight swordsman run away?
-and what about the guild?
-naturally he passed the test. I asked him to join and he accepted.
-really!?
Anari did not expect things to go so easily.
-you should rather worry about yourself first.
-wawa.
-say, how did you do on your test?
-wawa.
-the other three for example didn’t kill even a single kobold and when I asked them this question they said that they don’t deserve to join the soon to be strongest guild and don’t want to be accepted because Arata did all the job by himself. So what you have to say Anari?
Gerald was not making it easy for her.
-well. I did kill some kobold but all I ever did was just following Arata instruction, I am useless.
-well, it’s good that you see where you stand. Still you actually did better than I expected. I was convinced that you will die at some point. Anyway, just like I said, when we return to Loris I will teach you all you need to know so you won’t be useless anymore. Hopefully. You should be happy that you have unique class like that.
-waaa! Thank you Leader.
-ah, don’t think you will become better over the night, it will be long and time consuming process and when you reach a certain level it will be all up to you if you can move from there.
-I will do my best. Emmm… what about the other three, did you invite them as well?
-well, I am not that good, but they showed some promise and wanted to train so I told them that they should ‘seek me out’ when they get better and then I will give them another chance. Although I have completely no idea when it would be possible. Well I don’t know what I will be doing in few years from now.
-so, leader what are we going to do now? As a guild we should be doing something, right?
-well, as you know our guild right now has only five people. Me, Loki, Kelly and our two newest members, you and Arata. Although its size nearly doubled from what it was yesterday, it’s definitely not enough. So following the plan, I will continue with search for new members.
-maybe there will be someone in another group?
-I don’t know about Loki’s group as he is searching for his members. But in Kelly’s one, they all should die rather fast.
-then, why are you even testing them if you already know that they have no chance?
Anari asked the question.
-it’s not 100% accurate that they will fail. And the more groups we test the higher chance that someone will survive. It’s not like you can fully understand someone without seeing them in action. Everyone has their own way of doing things.
-I don’t think that any group can do anything on dungeon like this if they don’t have another Arata.
-hahaha, that also may be true. Still, I don’t plan on changing the test, unless I get bored of the view again.
-but you won’t find anyone that way.
-once again we are looking for good players…
It seemed that Gerald was not lowering the difficulty of the test even if it meant not finding anyone else.
-anyway Anari, what do you think about Arata?
He asked her a question.
-what you want to bully me again?
-ah, the thing that I said that you suit, each other? Didn’t I already say I was joking.
-please don’t do it anymore.
-okay, okay. Anyway, I want you to tell me what you think about him as a player. What are his good points what are his bad points.
-hmm, what can I say? He is perfect player, isn’t he? He might have lost with the giant but he killed the last boss in the process.
Anari answered right away.
-perfect player, hmm?
-you disagree Leader?
-no, it is true that he is suitable for the strongest guild, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was in one once before. I mean in other game as in this game there was never a guild that could be called the strongest.
-what is exactly strongest guild?
-it’s a guild that is considered the strongest by most players. It’s not like there are some guild tournaments where each guild fight each other. And even if there were, not all guilds would join it. Good guilds would rather not join because public fights would reveal their abilities. In the end, people’s opinion is the factor of deciding which guild is the strongest.
-see, Arata is strong if he was in strongest guild.
-true, but everyone that have been in a guild like that has one big flaw.
Enjoying the story? Show your support by reading it on the official site.
-what flaw? If they are best how can they have any problems?
-well, explaining it will be easy as Arata is perfect example for it. You saw it as well. From the very beginning he decided that Steven, Mark and Gerry are useless and you were just someone who he could use as additional damage.
-it’s true that I was doing just that.
-so you see what I am talking about. The greatest problem of ‘so called best players’. They consider others useless and do everything on their own. This sometimes brings serve consequences. Like when Arata was trying to come up with idea “how to fight hordes of kobolds”. Even for a second he didn’t think that he could use his party member with AOE spell.
-yes, he did even start to say good bye to everyone.
-Anari, you once told me the qualities of good guild Leader, I still remember that speech it was great.
-well, it was something that my friend told me about.
-so how do you think Arata did as party leader?
After Gerald asked that question Anari pondered for few seconds and answered.
-… not so well.
-so you finally see my point. Sure the main thing you should focus on is your own abilities but at the same time you shouldn’t ignore people that are with you. There are times when you need to do something alone but there are also times when you can’t do anything unless you get some help. Anari, what do you think the best teamwork would be?
-em… I don’t know? Everyone relying on each other?
Anari answered with the first thing that came to her mind.
-you really think like that?
Gerald answered, slightly disappointed in her answer.
-waa! I don’t really know. How can I? I am just a newbie…
But then he smiled seeing her reaction.
-what would be the good teamwork then Leader?
-hmm… if you are asking for my opinion then listen. This will be your first lesson. I would say that teamwork is the exact opposite of what you just said. Rather than relying on others you should focus on things that you can do and expect others to do the same. I will do my job and you will do yours, if you won’t manage to cope with it then I will beat the crap out of you the next time I see you. Helping each other, sure it may sound good and may even sound like thing you should do while doing things with others, still I rather think that this is simply an excuse for those who are not good enough. In times where true teamwork is needed, you don’t have the time to worry about others. You just have to trust them with your back.
-waaaaaaaaa!
Anari was completely overwhelmed by what Gerald just said.
-anyway, returning to the current matter. For the time being, don’t go anywhere with Arata as you are now Anari, especially alone. First learn how to play at least on the most basic levels. Otherwise he will completely ignore you if you party with him in the future.
-yes, I will work hard till I won’t be useless!
-now, one more thing.
-hmm?
-what are you going to do when you meet Arata?
-ah, I want to ask him why he was depressed.
-…
Gerald once again looked at her with slight disappointment then he asked.
-really?
-yes I want to know.
-Anari, you are cruel girl you know.
Gerald commented on her plans.
-how can you say that? I am just worried about him.
-okay, let me tell you something before that. What will you do if he tells you something that you are not able to do anything about? Something you won’t even be able understand. Like some scary ‘event B’.
-‘event B’ what’s that about? Anyway, I will understand it somehow.
-…think! Someone like Arata wouldn’t cry if the reason was not something serious.
This time Gerald was also somewhat more serious.
-you know something leader? You talked to him about it?
-Anari, how could I speak with him about it when we only know each other for a day or so? Even if I knew him for years, I don’t think that I would touch that topic.
-why?
-that is because I want our twilight swordsmen to stay in my guild. Anyway Anari, remember this well, you shouldn’t ask questions for which you are not prepared to hear answer for.
“Mom also told me similar thing. Maybe it’s really not best idea to do that.”
Alice finally understood.
-okay, I won’t pry into his business.
-good, just act normal. He should return to his usual self by now.
-how can you tell?
-stuff like that come suddenly but also quickly disappears. In most cases that is.
-I don’t get it.
-well it’s not like you can understand that. Anyway there is no need to worry about Arata… Now then, I said everything I wanted to say or even more so we should speed up a little. Hey guys we are running from now on!
The three were talking before but stopped and answered him.
-no problem we will be able to start our training faster.
The party started to run. Anari decided to not ask Arata about what happened, at least for now.
On the way Anari talked with the three.
-it’s sad that you can’t join.
-don’t say that.
-yea we will join soon enough.
-Mark is right. Also even though we failed the test it was a great experience. We now know what a true VR-player should be like.
-it’s not like we had a chance on passing anyway, it’s a miracle that we didn’t die.
-I see, by the way I wanted to ask you something?
Anari asked.
-what is it?
-why are you still with us? You don’t have to follow us anymore do you?
To this question, they bursted into laughter and then answered.
-because we don’t know the way back.
“Now that I think about it I also don’t know the way.”
They run after Gerald through the plain. He summoned some kind of small fire above them so they could see the way. With time they reached the hill from where they took off from. At the hill there was campfire burning. Kelly was sitting next to it on the one side and Arata was sleeping next to it on the other side. As they reached the place Kelly started to complain.
-Gerald where have you been?
-naturally, with my group on the test.
-yes but what took you so long?… No, before that, what does it mean that everyone survived!? What test did you give them!? You said that you changed it. Wasn’t it too easy?
-ah yes, wait for a second Kelly…
Gerald stopped her and for the last time spoke with the three.
-Steven! Mark! Gerry! I expect you to come back and show your true colors in future.
-yes leader!
-dismissed!
With that the three left the hill and went in the direction of the village. Kelly was even more furious now.
-hey Gerald! Don’t send them away. They survived right. We won’t find anyone better! My group died on first pack once again!
-hahaha.
-it’s not something to laugh about… So what did you do that everyone survived. You cheated in some way didn’t you!?
“Isn’t he the leader here?”
Anari thought to herself, seeing as Gerald is scolded at.
-no, no, don’t worry my group went to that dungeon with kobolds that I mentioned to you once.
-that place?… Well it is even harder than usual place…
And then Kelly’s tone has changed.
-so we really have new members?
She asked.
-yes, isn’t it great.
-and here I thought that this was pointless. Still it’s not like we are that much closer to original goal.
-don’t be like that it’s time to celebrate, Yuhuuu!!!!
With loud shut of joy Gerald woken up sleeping Arata.
-hey, can’t you see that someone is sleeping here.
-oh Arata, I thought that you would run away already and I would never see you again.
Despite what Gerald said earlier, it seemed like he wasn’t sure of Arata staying in the guild.
-I will stick around for a while. After all, that test was annoying so I want my reward.
-hahaha, glad to hear. Ah right, Anari give him that sword that dropped from last boss.
Anari picked up the loot from ‘talking kobold’ after Gerald slew the big one. There was a sword and magic cloak. It was better than her previous item so she equipped it. Now she was going around in color of blue rather than gray.
-here Arata.
Arata’s eyes shined a little when he saw the sword he quickly changed his previous weapon and equipped this one. Then he asked.
-thanks! So Gerald do you have any plans for a guild, right now?
-call me leader!
-sure I can do that, but I will never give you any of my cooking again.
“Arata is back to normal.”
Just like before he was battling with Gerald nonstop although it was different this time.
-blackmailing is bad thing Arata.
-nothing is bad as long as it works.
-fine I give up for now. Why does no one want to call me a leader? But I swear that one day everyone will do so. You hear me Kelly!
-no can do Gerald.
Kelly answered him from across the fire. Arata asked again.
-so, you have any plans?
-well, for now we will be gathering more members. And by we, I mean me, Kelly and Loki. We are going to continue our search. Now that I think about it I don’t see him here. Kelly, where is Loki?
Gerald asked.
-I don’t know, even if he came back knowing him, he went with another group already while we were away.
-fine I will message him later.
-but this game doesn’t have any message system?
Anari made this remark but Gerald only answered.
-no I have his phone number. Right, you two give me your mail address and phone number as well so I can contact you anytime I want. Anyway Arata you are free to do what you want. If you want to exp up somewhere to kill the time, I can tell you about good exping spot.
-maybe later. For now I want to do a quest.
Arata answered.
-you found a quest here? Is there any quest in this village?
-it’s a class quest for a weapon.
-well not bad, normal quest are rare, and finding a class quest is even harder.
-well I somehow ended up finding it.
-be sure to complete it. Class quest give special reward. Like items that level up so they can be used anytime. From class quests you can get new abilities for your class. And getting good skills is the most important thing to look for.
-but you have the skill book, abilities appear as you level up. Don’t they?
-sure but the best skills are from quests. If you want truly good skill you need to work hard for it. You have to sacrificing numbers of hours and numbers of level in order to complete those quests but trust me it is worth it. Anyway if you ever find unique quest, focus on that as rewards from them are far more important than leveling up. That is at least after 100th level.
-you probably know better. But for now I have my quest for sword so I going for it tomorrow morning. Anari you are coming?
Anari was little surprised that Arata asked her.
“I want to come but.”
-no, for now, leader is going to teach me how to play.
-hahaha, Anari if you want to go, then go.
Gerald said that but Anari knew that for now, she should focus on basic rather than be useless again and get in Arata’s way.
-no, no I want to learn.
-looks like you will have to go alone Arata.
Gerald commented.
-I will manage somehow, but it may take a while.
-well, we are staying here until we find additional members so… .
-you have eternity.
Kelly cut into Gerald’s talk.
-Kelly, don’t say it like that! After we finally have found someone I am sure that now that luck is on our side new members will pop up one after another before we know it.
-and how are we going to find them?
Kelly asked him in return.
-of course, the same way we did before.
-as you can see Arata, you can go and come back in few years.
-haha it’s seems like it. Gerald good luck with boar hunters.
Arata was back to normal or rather it was first time that Anari saw him casualty laughing.
-it’s not funny Arata. I also have to deal with them.
Kelly commented.
-then forget it and go for quest with me.
“Strange to see Arata have a talk like this.”
-sorry Arata, I would leave this guy alone but I can’t do it while Loki is doing his best.
-hey Kelly! You mean by you can leave me?
Anari looked at the situation and couldn’t understand what was happening at all. She decided to ask Arata about it.
-hey Arata.
-hmm?
-why are you so strange now?
-what do you mean by strange?
-you know, you laughing your best even though you didn’t look best before.
-ah you mean that, Well everyone would be sad if after killing last boss, you gets owned by its minion and have to be saved by this guy. No, especially, after being saved by this guy.
-but before you were always fighting with Leader! How can you speak suddenly to Kelly like that? Also you would never invite me to go on a quest together.
Anari was sure at least of the last statement. At that moment Arata answered with simple word.
-aren’t we members of the same guild.
-haaaa?
-Anari relax, I don’t try to steal him from you.
Kelly made additional remark and Gerald followed.
-Kelly even if you don’t, Arata already has fallen for your boobs.
-Gerald isn’t it you the one that is talking about the boobs all the time.
Arata commented.
-well… here you got it wrong Arata, Gerald is an eternal kid who won’t ever look at the girl.
-hahaha. Even if I don’t, I can still do this!
Gerald jumped at Kelly but she simply avoided him and he landed on the ground. Arata laugh at that.
-Gerald, look like your charm doesn’t work on her.
Arata commented
-at least I have charm. Arata should I let you a hair dye so you won’t scare children when they see you.
-said the apple head.
-what you want to fight again?
-if we fought, it wouldn’t even be called a fight. It would be rather me making a juice.
And so, both of them started a fist fight.
“Is this the same Arata I know?”
Anari could not understand what was happening.
-first time in the guild?
Kelly come to her and asked. Anari was still worried.
-what are they doing? Shouldn’t we stop them?
-why? They will punch each other for a while and then give up.
-…I never though, that Arata could be like that.
-you know when he came back, I talked with him for a moment.
-and what did you talk about?
-well it was a simple greeting between two members of same guild. He told me that rest of you will be coming back shortly. Then he asked if I going anywhere right now and when I answered that I don’t he just went to sleep.
-see isn’t it strange as well?
-no I didn’t find it strange at all.
-but it’s Arata! He wouldn’t just go to sleep next to stranger. You didn’t talk with him much before did you? Wait, did you? Now that I think about it when we took off for the test he somehow looked the way where you went.
-hahaha, I must tell him, that I don’t look for a younger guy. Anyway you say that he was down for a while.
-he wasn’t just down. He even cried for a moment and even after that he was a still depressed but now he is back to usual or rather unusual.
She looked as Arata made a punch at Gerald’s face and at the same time was punched by him.
-cried? Must be something serious, anyway Anari you shouldn’t pry too much into it?
-you know that you are the third person that is telling me it today.
-in games when someone do something unusual, the best thing to do is simply ignore it and wait till he get better.
-but shouldn’t we help instead?
-no, at least until they ask you for it. It’s the same in real life. Anari did you ever pry too deep in someone else’s business?
-well once.
-and how did it ended?
-wawa, my friend yelled at me and said that he doesn’t want to talk with me ever again.
-auch. You see how it can end, well you got the extreme version there but it’s better just to wait and wait until they told you about it themselves.
-but Arata is still acting strange, what should we do?
-he looks normal to me. You don’t have fist fight with someone when you have something on your mind.
-exactly that! Arata isn’t someone who would start a fight because someone told him that he have strange hair, especially with leader.
-you find it strange, even if Arata already has explained it to you.
-explained? I don’t understand? What did he said?
-we the members of the same guild.
Anari still did not understand what that mean, still she felt like she wants to understand. But it will still take her a lot of time, as after all it was her first night with her new guild.
//**Note. The following chapters might be a little confusing in which order to read them as they are named
11.
12.
13.
The order on reading them is quite simple. Go by numbers! That will always be the correct way of reading **//
