Exploits of Xavior
The start of a tale (Prologue)

The start of a tale (Prologue)

Steven sat at his desk doing his job on autopilot. Steven worked endlessly without a day off since he was brought in. This inevitably leads to Steven making mistakes occasionally.

Most of the time it's a little error and easily fixed or not big enough to even be noticed. Steven's work dealt with prenatal children and most of his mistakes could be grown into or tweaked by the people dealing with infants or later. Today's mistake was a little bigger.

Steven, realizing the mistake he just made, called over his direct supervisor to explain. José, his supervisor, basically said sweep it under the rug, it won't be an issue for years.

Steven knew that José was only saying this because he was up for promotion. Steven also understood that this could end up a bigger issue than they could reasonably cover-up. So Steven called over to the department that would end up handling this issue when it comes to fruition.

Alexia, the head of the department of children, after hearing the issue told Steven that so long as it was monitored it would be easy to deal with. Just to be sure though, she advised that Steven use the normal method to make everything look normal.

Thus the child Steven was working with was to be born without complications.

----------------------------------------

Lori was handed her swaddled bundle of a child by the midwife and was happy to see the medical instruments reading stating her child was healthy and it wasn't displaying any complications.

"We already have the perfect name for you. Yes, we do." Lori cooed to the child as her husband was brought in. She handed the child to him.

Marcus took the baby and after a quick kiss to Lori's forehead, he said "Yes we do. Your name is Xavior, son of Marcus, child of Lori."

The newborn exhausted from, who would have guessed, just being born put up little effort in resisting the transfer to the new father who didn't quite know the proper way to hold a child.

Xavior was born at home that day. And thus begins the tale of Xavior. Who unbeknownst to the world at large, would be the subject of many tales, true and false, later in life.
