Morgan had signed up for all the classes he could fit into his schedule, which meant extra paper assignments, staying up late, and usually falling asleep at his desk. Tyler and Jack would carry him to his bed and neatly organize his assignments. What he had done in one pile and what he hadn’t got done. He just kept piling it onto himself. And he had no time for anything else, not even sleep sometimes.
“This has got to stop. He is overworking himself and he’s completely exhausted.” Tyler said. Jack nodded. It was too much.
“I don’t think he’ll be doing it for long. I think once he starts going on missions again he’ll be back to normal and will stop this extra work nonsense.”
"I hope so." They looked back at their friend and then at the desk with the continuously rising stacks of paperwork that he had taken upon himself. They looked at each other with a nod, grabbed the papers, and headed to find someone to talk to about this.
They searched the campus asking scientists and other generals if they could do anything, to which they responded, with a disheartening 'no'. Jack not wanting to give up on his friend had decided to head to find the rest of the boys and girls. Grabbing Tyler by the arm he headed off down the halls and to the center of campus.
"Jack, what are you doing?" Tyler said concerned.
"We're gonna do the paperwork for him."
Tyler stopped in his tracks, taken aback by what his friend had said.
"You of all people should know that we can't do that, we could get expelled!"
"Morgan is gonna get expelled if we don't do something!"
"you think I don't know that? would you rather we be expelled together or him expelled by himself and we never see him again!?"
"I see a lesser of two evils kind of situation, then?"
"A lesser of two evils indeed. even though we aren't doing anything evil, we are helping our friend before he straight up dies from exhaustion."
"Well, when you word it like that," Tyler said finally giving into his friends' scheme.
"Thank you for seeing my side of reason."
"If we go down, then we go down together."
"sounds like Melanni is in on it."
"Meet us at the courtyard, we'll do what we can to help."
"Grab you know who." he thought to himself hoping Melanni heard him.
Tyler and Jack sprinted to the courtyard where Destiny, Melanni, Ynes, Jose, and the others were waiting.
"Did you grab him? Jack whispered to Melanni.
"Yeah," she said pulling a small cube from her pocket and setting it on the table. It opened up with a short chirp and looked around at the people hovering over him.

"Awwwwwwwww." everyone said after he had started up and was moving around.
"He's so fucking cute, look at how small he is!" Angel cooed. Tyler looked at the robot, then to Julia, "Can he do it, is he ready?"
"of course he can, I made him." Julia said with the utmost confidence, "Just try not to overwhelm him, let him scan and memorize Morgans's handwriting, and then we will have to do one page at a time to start with."
"How long is this gonna ta-"
"AHEM." they all turned around and went white as Sgt. Major was standing there watching them suspiciously.
"And what do you children think you're doing?"
"WHERE IS MORGAN WHEN WE NEED HIM?" they all thought simultaneously.
"Working on a project. I want to test this new invention that I had made and asked them to gather some old paper assignments." Julia said trying to stay cool.
"Yeah, we're just.. trying to be good friends," Angel added wondering if their Sgt. had picked up the secret meaning, but hoping that he didn't.
"Hmm... Let me see." He said walking over to them and holding out his hand. Julia had picked up the small cube and gently placed it in his palm.
"Interesting, and you built this on your own?"
"Mostly.." Julia said starting to get excited as she went on about the scientists who helped her when she had a question, and how she had done most of it on her own.
"I see, and you're POSITIVE, that you aren't doing anything that violates the curriculums?"
"Absolutely!" They all had chimed in with various reassurances, despite knowing deep down they had violated at least 5 of the curriculums.
"Hmmm." he looked the robot over once more and then handed it very carefully back to Julia.
"Continue then, I hope that your project gives you the results you are looking for."
"Well we are about to find out," she said with a small chuckle. "If not then it's back to the drawing board." she smiled.
Sgt Major gave a quick grin, and a small nod then headed on to the labs. They had waited until he was out of sight and gave a huge sigh of relief once he was out of earshot.
"That was way too close."
"Yeah, we all would have been up shites creek without a paddle."
"What do you mean by that?"
they spun around to see Morgan standing there, his hair disheveled and his uniform wrinkled, the bags under his eyes becoming more noticeable by the hour it seemed.
"I made you an invention to help with your paper assignments. It can-"
"I don't care."
all of them had been taken aback.
"I don't need your help, Julia, I don't need any of you to help me." he took a step and almost collapsed. they rushed to their friend to grab him before he could hit the pavement.
"Yes. You do." Jahmni said laying a hand on Morgans's forehead.
"You're burning up you need to go to the medical wing. You could be sick."
"I'm not sick! Get off me!" he said angrily wrenching free from their grasp.
"Why did you take all my paper assignments?" he growled,
"We just want to help, we hate seeing you like this and we are really worried about you!" Jack chimed in.
"Gah, just stop!" Morgan screamed alerting the scientists that were nearby and some of the other students.
Jahmni placed his hand on the back of Morgan's neck causing him to faint and collapse. they all looked at him.
"I know where all his pressure points are." he shrugged.
"Let's get him to the medical wing. Foca said, grabbing his feet they all grabbed on and carried him to a nearby cart and raced him to the medical wing.
