Following the innkeeper we came to the edge of the village

“Okay before we get there I need you to cover your eyes” the innkeeper said

Giving him a “are you kidding me” I placed my hand over my eyes,Camellia seeing me do this copied me and we both were then guided by the innkeeper to what I believed to be a feild. Standing there with our hands over our eyes the innkeeper said

“Okay you can move your hands now”

With our hands now lowered to our sides we were treated with a loud SURPRISE! Looking around I could see more than half of the village was here in what seemed to be in a party.Looking at the innkeeper I said

“What…….Is….Going….On?”

The innkeeper looked at me and said

“Well with all the things you've helped as all out we decided to throw you a party”

“Yah big boy keeping us on our toes my bar hasn't had as many visits from everyone until you started coming” said the bartender

“Oi what the miss says is true I wouldn't have healed this broken arm if you weren't here to place it in that cast you made” the blacksmith said

“The herbs you've gathered have helped me keep the town in tip top shape and even showing me what some herbs I've never used”the potion master said

At these words the rest of the villagers smiled and cheered at what was spoken.As i looked around i couldn’t help but smile, the fact that people no matter where were willing to except one another brought me releif.

“Okay big guy before you go all soft on us let's party!” the bartender said

With a non the party began the villagers had brought an assortment of food ranging from pies to full course meals of venison and what i could only call “monster meat”,with the party in swing everyone began to talk about whatever was on their minds ranging from where i came from to what i would do after a while in the village.From the knowledge i had gained i learned that the giants came from the north so i just told them i wondered down south looking for new land to harvest from and I,told them i didn’t know what i wanted to do after a while here.Looking over at Camellia the villagers did as well

“Maybe you should head to a place where she can go to school Mora.” the bartender said

“I agree with yah but i don’t think there are any places that would let Mora just walk in” the blacksmith responded

As we pondered this suddenly a chill washed over the entire party.Looking around the edges of the forest started to ooze a black substance

“Excuse the interruptions humans but i desire an answer from you all.”

With those words the ooze formed into a shadow and a figure with no face and a sleek appearance appeared.With no eyes and mouth one would questioned how it was able to live but from the faces of the villagers they already knew what it was

“What is a shadow demon doing here” whispered the blacksmith

The creature hearing these words tilted his head “I should ask the same of that Giant behind you” pointing his hand at me “Your race was enslaved by the master over 500 years ago what is your race doing here?”

Seeing that the conversation was in my end of the court i decided to answer

“With...Master...Gone…..Cities….Crumbled” lying through my teeth i hoped they creature would believe my lie

With hearing this the creature noded “Indeed your race was abandoned didn't expect your kind to still be alive not with what master did to you”

Breathing a sigh of relief I asked

“What...Do...You...Want?”

Looking at me the shadow seemed to get bigger

“You are not inclined to know that Giant but i will tell you any way” glancing at the villagers “I am in search of a statue that was near by this place would any of you humans have it?”

As the villagers looked at each other the innkeeper came forward “No one in this group has the thing you seek the goblins that live in the area might though”

“AH the goblins they do not have what i seek i already checked” it said with what seemed to be a grin

“Well since you don’t have it i guess i will be leaving” at these words a whip appeared from his hand and knocked me to the ground.”One of you have it and i will take it!”

as it said that its hand turned into what seemed to be a sword.

 With this i was almost ready to release Rampage of the Mountain when a bright white light came out of nowhere and hit the shadow.Screaming the shadow sulked back.

“I see you had a monk hiding in the back round i will be back and you there Gaint i will know what you are hiding, I can smell the statue on you!.” Fading into the shadow the forest returned to the way it was.

Gaining our wits me and the villagers here something coming from behind us.

“Excuse me but I'm looking for a man named Conall?”

Turning around we were greeted by three different people all dressed in white
