He was left with the choice of Dark Elf or Human. While he played as a Human in every other game, the Dark Elf option was so lucrative. Dark Elves seemed perfect for him. He was looking to build an assassin, and Dark Elves seemed to fit that, as if it was there just for people like him. A stealthy and nimble Race that was attributed to the shadows. He sighed and chose the Dark Elf after a few more moments of consideration. The experience boost and versatility from Humans would be a loss, but having a few extra levels meant nothing if he couldn’t enjoy what he liked best; striking from the shadows.

His Guild, the Phantom Aux, had discussed their starting locations since the EO announcement. When the locations were released for their server, his guildmates had decided on where to start. All the Elites (the top 50 of the Guild) would start in The Eye of Darkness, and the rest would start Down Below. Both starting locations favored Assassins and the Darkness affinity.
