Inside the dormitory, you could see the grown Nepheria sitting in the chair as she writes in her own book, a diary that contains her life at the school. The exterior of the diary is tattered, but the papers inside are in perfect condition. Through out the 5 years she had lived in this school, she had grown. She is not the naive little that was 5 years old. Now she is a mature teen who has tasted the bitterness of life in school. Just like his brother said, it was very bloody. A lot of students have died throughout the years, yet she survived all of it. She had learned as much as she could to survive in this bloody school. She had created many memories in this school of happiness, sadness, anger, jealousy, and love, all thanks to this school.
As she closed the diary, in the instant that she closed it, a huge explosion could be heard. Hearing this made Nepheria sigh as she stood up from her chair and opened the door to see what just happened in the middle of the morning.
She is used to hearing explosions or shouts of pain, but she knew all of this was because the school created this duel as the staple of the school itself. It's called the Death Duel. It's a duel where two participants will fight to the death to own everything about the defeated participant, and the winning participant will own everything that the losing participant had, for example, life, money, status, soul, belongings, etc. Everything could be owned by the winner. The reason it's called a Death Duel is because one must kill the other participant to own what they have. Surviving is a very rare occurrence due to the high demands of the school for higher points, and the fastest way to gain points is through a Death Duel.
As she walked down the hallway, the explosions that could be heard were getting stronger and stronger. As she opened the door at the front of the dormitory to see that Crown was fighting a boy of the same age, Nepheria understood that they were currently in a Death Duel. She did not need to worry that Crown would lose, despite the fact that she seemed to be in a dangerous spot, because she knew that Crown was just playing around, or more correctly, learning the enemy. Although she could kill him with a single swipe of her hands, she made the fight longer so she could understand her enemy more.
Crown, noticing Nepheria's presence, swiped her hand horizontally as the boy's head was instantly separated into his body before he even noticed it as his head fell to the ground, not knowing what just happened until he could only see darkness as the still-standing body sprouted blood like a fountain.
Nepheria, seeing that, did not flinch, unlike her first time that made her throw up, but now she is used to it, as she smiled at Crown waving at her while smiling after she had brutally killed the boy just now, as if not caring about the deceased boy's presence at all.

"Nepheria, why are you here? I thought you were currently writing your diary" Crown asked as she came closer to Nepheria, wiping the blood that had splattered on her cheeks with her handkerchief, as she thought that Nepheria was still writing in her diary inside the dormitory.
"I just finished it. Also, what happened? Why did that boy challenge you to a Death Duel? Is he that desperate to even fight you, the Crowned Executioner?" Nepheria said, teasing Crown. As Crown blushed in embarrassment, she remembered the time she shouted that title to everyone after winning a Death Duel against a guy who came from a royal family that really wanted to marry Nepheria into his own family, making Crown angry, so she asked that guy into a Death Duel and she brutally tortured that person before decapitating him in front of countless students who were watching everything unfold.
"Umm, that title. Please forget about that. It's embarrassing" Crown said as she asked Nepheria to forget such an embarrassing title that she had shouted at that time as she blushed more.
"No, now tell me why he challenged you to a Death Duel" Nepheria denied Crown's plea of forgetting her the title, as this was a very important memory for her, as she asked Crown the reason why that guy just challenged him to a Death Duel.
"Well, he seemed very desperate. From what I heard from him, his family had fallen from grace because of his elder brother wasting most of the money after their father died, so he believed maybe if he could defeat me, he could rise up from the fall that their family had just taken" Crown explained to Nepheria that the reason why that guy challenged her was because he was desperate to recover the title that their family had, with the extra of even going beyond their old title, but nonetheless, although he had good intentions of wanting to make sure his family rise again, he is an arrogant and foolish person that his first person to Death Duel is someone beyond his league.
"I pity him, but a fool, I would say, instantly targeting one of the powerful individuals as his first opponent because of the fall of his family—really a fool" Nepheria said as she pities him yet insults him at the same time, calling him a fool as he picked the wrong opponent to be his first target.
"Now, now you're the same too. Although unlike him, you won except without the fall from grace but from naivety" Crown said as she remembered the time on the first day of school when an arrogant noble of high rank tried to kill her due to a mistake of accidentally hitting him in the shoulders while' walking, making Nepheria angry. At that time, the teachers even appeared as they noticed Nepheria's killing intent, so they proposed to her the Death Duels that were there. Nepheria killed the noble and threw up out of fear and disgust at what she had just done, but the older students and teachers just clapped as a gesture of respect to her to instantly kill him and his first win in the Death Duel.
"Oh, come on, at least I saved you. Just a little bit of good will, please" Nepheria said as she looked at Crown cutely. It's super effective, but too bad. Crown instantly regained her composure.
"Or just foolish obsessiveness" Crown said as she smiled, looking at Nepheria's cute eyes.
"Tehee~" Nepheria said with her tongue out as the bell rang in the distance, as it was almost time for class to start.
"Oh, the bell has rung. Let's go, Crown" Nepheria said as she held Crown's hand.
"Mhm, let's go" Crown said as both walked to where their classrooms were.
