Prologue I

The gentle song was so magical as the Willoughby tweets leisurely .A charming melody so heavenly  like a sutra almost in sync to the soft streaming of the water over the lovely  peebles. Each pebble  so white  resembling a pearl fit for offering to an Aphrodite. The blowing wind made that leaves of the trees dance was cool but not too chill. One by one as  some emerald green leaves fell from the tree they took their time having a joy ride in the arms of the gentle breeze.. despite the tempting conditions there was never a trace of those blood sucking insects.. one could just sleep on a  hammock outside without a care in the world and still enjoy a peaceful and relaxing sleep.Everyday  here is a bliss..an ecosystem that is so cooperative.. the little stream that flowed perfectly clean water,a climate that never ceased to amaze..the ideal spot to get away from everything.

Despite this serenity of a place ,it was extremely rare to find people because no body ever visits here.. for one reason only..inaccesabillity.This eutopia of a palace is situated in a mountainous terrain. It is practically impossible to get here without a helicopter or advanced climbing gadgets supported with experience but if one owned a secret spot like this, wouldn't they be happy that no one but themselves can come hear.Shejin managed to come here because he had gone hiking with his grandfather a lot he was young, ever since he had adopted the habit exploring the wilderness..And during his expeditions he discovered this paradise and slowly started to build a cabin here, which took a sizable amount of time and labour which is probably why there is a only tiny little cabin by the stream.

The owner of the cabin wanted to picturesque of a place all to himself and it's obvious why.. Today  there had been a light shower just a few moments ago and now the sun is shining in the wetted ground ..the dew drops resemble tiny diamonds.. and the pure white butterfly are fluttering all over the place..the air is rich with a muddy smell that is incorporated with the humid yet cool effect of an- after- shower..The cabin nestled its owner.SheJin placed his book upside down as he finished reading. He raised his long fingers from the book cover and reached for his cup..He lifted the  metal container to his slim pink lips and took a gentle sip of his already chilled  juice from a bronze casted cup.

He smiled as the cool beverage rushed down his throat and tamed the warm sensation of his throat. He loves freshly squeezed juice and he had just squeezed this juice from the berries he picked this morning..He likes the fruit naturally pressed as he believes it preserves the natural sweetness.Placing the juice in a metal cup that has thin walls enables the juice to chill naturally, especially if the atmosphere is chill as today. He took a huge breath in and exhaled with immeasurable satisfaction. He returned the cup to the table..

The table he sat at did not give off the aura of having a hefty price tag but it did come off as a custom crafted antique made by an experienced craftsman almost as if he made it for display at a reputed location ..the detail on it was not rushed almost like he did it in his spare time..The finish was dark brown going to a burnt brown..The edges of the table were soft curves that were defined like they were embed by a machine..it is really simple yet perfect..The size was just a meter long and 79cm wide ..

On the table near a decorative jade sculpture of a bird rested a candle holder and a blue electric lamp. The wax was melted but not oozing off the container. It does show that the candle has not been lit more than few times. A few books laid on the table. They covered a wide vary of topics from fishing manuals to history of candles.

It is quite obvious that the owner of this pile liked to diversify his portfolio of knowledge because having information is everything.however this pile seems like it had not been touched .They seemed to be moved only when cleaning.

The table and the chair had a similar design and colour...This little setup was next to the wooden door..The said door was old as its vertical panels had tiny lateral spaces at some places especially where the panels joined each other , which allowed sunlight in the house but never allowed water to sleep inside.. Everything in this cabin from the cobblestone roofing to the wooden flooring was antique , akin to the interior structure and items that one finds in a historian' s house..

There were no special features to find in this cabin nor this room except  of course the smell of the caramel scented candles which lingered in the air ,that were burned occasionally..The smell of the caramel infused together with the wood of the table and oil finish of the timber nightstand not forgetting the aroma of the wood of the walls ,creates a devine vanilla chocolate smell that qualifies for even more appropriation more so when the environment is blazing hot because then it is like walking into a bakery at that engrossing moment just as the warm buns exist the oven and the room gets dressed in the aromatic odour from the oven..

The  tiny mahogany wardrobe on the other side of the ebony crafted canopy bed  was the one which served as a pedestal for  the caramel candles to rest on top..The candles were encapsulated by a photo frame and a wonderful array of a flowers bundled up on the side .This bouquet was like it was picked up in order to be gifted to someone. On the opposite end  , there were other flowers placed in an Egyptian designed vase with minimal asthetic value placed on its decoration.Honestly the scent of the flowers plus the odour from the candles added to the humid aroma of the environment is like sweet lucid dream.

SheJin placed his arms down on the table and he propelled himself up..He had  read thirty chapters and had been engrossed in every page.He just picked this book up on his way here for a get away. The novel was stashed at the bottom of his bag that was full of climbing equipment and other necessities for hiking..This bag was now resting ,empty in the corner next to the fireplace awaiting for its master to require its services once more. This fireplace had burning coal that was already extinguished.. His body was still a bit numb from sitting too long.He had recently adopted the habit of reading to distract himself which doesn't come off as surprising. SheJin slowly walked over to the wide window barefooted and noticed that it had stopped raining. He placed his slim delicate hand behind his head and started to massage it while looking out the window..

He smiled a weak smile almost weary like he bared a lot of pain..His eyes raised and scanned the whole environment taking everything in  and momentarily as if by sequence, they fell on at the mignon blue bird in a nest , tweeting whilst building its nest. He blinked slowly before his smile melted into the air.It s undeniable that he was at peace but the loneliness he felt obviously inconcealable..

He had been distanced from his girlfriend and had been trying in every way possible to forget but it just made the void in his heart even bigger and the pain even worse..They had met at a hospital when SheJin kept visiting his grandfather who had a bad heart. She came to the hospital to tell the children stories..Her good heart and selflessness was like a poem .She had a beautiful smile, innocent yet engaging and cat like eyes  that were calm yet penetrating.
