While everyone held their breath with their eyelids closely shut, the fist released its nerve-racking impact. As the air climaxed at its tenses of moments everyone thought of one word, death. But as people once again regained the courage to open their eyes something very intriguing had occurred.

Nothing, absolutely nothing had happened. Everyone imagined blood, blood everywhere. That bone shattering sound that some men had grown accustomed to while wandering this dangerous yet vast world was nowhere to be found. Instead the noble yet mysterious man Honem had simply stopped the impact of the punch.

“What?! He actually survived that?”

“How is that possible?”

“And look he hasn’t even moved an inch”

Obviously the bystanders couldn’t believe their eyes. A cripple; meaning someone without any martial Ki foundation whatsoever had as easily as breathing stopped the punch from the mighty discipline of Purple Giant School. The Purple Giant School was in these part’s an overbearing presence. They had single handedly claimed themselves as rulers and this was accomplished with pure martial might. Being a discipline of this mighty school was without any doubt both a privilege and an honor.

“This can’t be”

The purple robed man’s followers could obviously not comprehend the current situation. If by some means this pesky little commoner could defeat their respected peer not only would they lose face among many but also a great deal of influence which came with it

Even more surprised was Honem himself.

“I knew that I could stop the punch by utilizing my Ki control but to this degree..”

“I should just be at the third level of the Spirit Profound Realm right? Stopping it to this degree shouldn’t be possible, I think”

“Hey how could you stop that? You a mere disgusting cripple shouldn’t…” Kolel staggering said as he withdrew his clenched fist. Obviously he was slightly frustrated with the outcome of the previous exchange…

“Big brother could it be that he is hiding his cultivation?” One of Kolel followers said with a rather concerned look. The question was valid, if this person actually was in the Nascent Profound Realm and was hiding his strength then its someone even they couldn’t offend.

“Ewh, a filthy commoner a genius? Unlikely”

“Well there is one way to find out” Kolel said as he had smug smile on his face.

Instantly the air tensed up as the Ki pressure suddenly raised. Dense Ki circulated around Kolel’s fist as sparkles of small lightning suddenly erupted from under his hands skin. The lightning rumbled as it coiled itself around Kolel lower arm forming a small gauntlet of electrifying destruction. As the lightning almost materialized Kolel smile turned from coy to laughter.

“Haha, I’ll let you experience the might of an actual martial technique”

As the bystanders witnessed the coiling lightning gauntlet the look of surprise once again turned sour.

“This time he really is dead, that’s coiling lightning fist. I once saw a man get completely mutilated from its might”

Shouts of plea continued to rain from the surrounding spectators

“Please spare him; he is too young to die”

“Have mercy”

Even Julia was down on her knees crying. Words of mercy kept escaping her mouth even if the mouth of a crying woman was hard to interpitate. Losing a hand was one thing but getting completely massacred by martial technique was something else entirely. Begging for mercy was now out of the picture.

Kolel took a step forward as he once again took stance to throw out his punch. This time however the air actually howled as his fist extended at lightning fast speed. As the coiling lightning came closer and closer to Honem everybody pictured the horrible outcome that was going to occur. Some of the bystander’s didn’t have to stomach to witness such a brutal and bloodthirsty murder and burrowed there face in their hands.

“I can’t take this one head on” Was the thought that went through Honem’s mind at that split second before impact.

The bystander was rather surprised with the outcome of this endeavor..

as soon as the punch was about to land, Honem’s body suddenly lost balance or at least that was what it appeared to have happened. His body actually fell to his right as the punch was approaching;

Honem was using a mighty force even greater than most gods’, gravity. As the crackling thunder fist finally arrived at its intended location, Honem had already escaped out of its bound.

“He dodged that?”

“This boy can’t be normal, I mean just look at him. And those moves, or was it luck?”

The spectator’s surrounding Honem and the martial artists from the Purple Giant School was getting more and more convinced that this fellow wasn’t normal. The chances of someone without cultivation stopping the punch of someone in the fourth level of the Spirit Profound Realm were miraculously low. The speed of the coiling lightning fist was also extremely terrifying dodging it was a clear testament to ones might. The only doubt that kept popping up in everyone’s mind was the way he executed this dodge, it actually looked more like he was falling.

Kolel’s minions also had a bit of concern across their face as they were closely watching the now standing Honem. One of the most cowardly of Kolel’s three followers couldn’t help continuing his warning spree

“Big brother I don’t think you should offend this person anymore, or we might not live to see tomorrow”

Kolel now furious to the point of even trembling couldn’t help turning around

“One more word and not only will I kill this disgusting commoner, I will also sever your head”

These words had a huge impact on the crowd. As soon as those words left his mouth most spectators discussing went dead silent.

Kolel was no longer collected as he let out an explosive yet distinctive howl before charging straight at Honem. This man had not only taken his punch but also dodged his ultimate technique.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

“I can’t let this filthy creature disgrace the Purple Giant School any further!”

Embarrassed to lose any more face he had to act, he had to kill.

“Die!”

Kolel howled as he released a fury of punches, every single one carrying the strength of the fourth level of the Spirit Profound Realm. Honem panicking at this rather unpredicted outburst of anger had no choice but to retreat. Fearing that he would be hit from behind Honem constantly had his eyes on his opponent as he backed away. Dodging one, two, three punches in a split second as he retreated with his utmost of strength.

The bystanders hastily moved out of the way with fear of getting caught in the middle. Even if the exchanges were both fast and dangerous nobody could keep their eyes of the battle. Every fist carried great strength as the wind howled in response.

“He is actually dodging, this shouldn’t be possible” The crowd was dumbstruck.

Surprisingly Honem continued to dodge in the most bizarre of ways. Every time everyone thought Kolels fist would connect, Honem actually fell over in a strange but mysterious way.

“Using basic dodging movement actually works against some kind of famous martial artist?”

Utilizing his advanced Ki control in combination with the help of gravity flourished to terrifying effect against his opponent.

“This attack pattern.. Has this guy never fought before” Honem was rather dumbfound. During his travel across Sun continent he had witnessed and battled hundreds of well-known martial artists but this famous man couldn’t even compare, against anyone. It was like watching a chicken trying to fly, embarrassing.

“He is not even predicting my body movement” Honem was getting more and more dumbfound and felt it hard to believe that this man was in fact a martial artist at all.

Seeing the lightning coiling fist Honem had actually thought that this would be a great and dangerous battle. In Honem’s mind materializing lightning outside the body even to this extent was normally only something people of the later stages the Nascent Profound Realm could accomplish. As soon as he saw the technique he knew he had to be cautious.

“But, except for Ki manifestation this guy… he might even be worse than our regular guards” Honem thought referring to his time in the royal palace.

“WEAK!” Honem howled with a straight face as he threw a frontal punch against Kolel’s face. Honem expecting a life or death battle which he had grown accustomed to was, disappointed.

As the punch easily connected with Kolel’s yet furious face, the impact made Kolel heroically fly backwards. The scene exploded before everyone’s face as loud and clear as thunder striking earth.

The response was complete, utter, silence except from now grunting Kolel. The punch had made considerable damage as blood continued to flow down his now broken and crocked nose.

Honem didn’t wait for the moment to catch its breath

“Why do you a complete utter beginner have a Ki manifestation technique? Today’s youth are even dumber then I remembered them” Honem had without thinking taken the role of some elderly person giving smug but truthful comments regarding the state of the new generation. Well technically he was indeed very old…

Silence was clutching the very air in its tightest of grips

An elderly person wearing rather refined clothing was the first spectator to break the short yet intense moment of silence

“Hahahah” The old man was laughing, with all his heart.

As the old man broke in to laughter some applaud surprisingly manifested itself in the crowd. This person had lectured a pupil of the Purple Giant School in a way that was weird to the utmost. Something this bizarre hadn’t happened in a very long time.

As the laughter, frighten looks and applauds continued to ravage within an ever growing cluster of spectators the faces of Kolel and his followers continued to redden. This tiny unimportant village was laughing and applauding against the mighty disciplines of the terrifying and overbearing Purple Giant School. Even the slightest insult would normally equal execution something that the common man wouldn’t even blink an eye over.

Honem face though was even redder.

“How does one usually react in these situations?”

Being stuck in a prison for thousands of years had taking quite a toll on his social abilities.

“This is embarrassing, should I just sneak away?”

“No, it’s probably better to announce my departure right?

Honem was deep in thought pondering his escape. The current situation was not something he felt equipped for.

“Good day” Honem yelled as he turned around and walked off.

Kolel that had now barely gained conciseness was more furious than ever.

“What do you mean? Come back here you filthy commoner!” Kolel felt in no way defeated

“I said good day!” Honem wasn’t willing to argue as he rushed off in the distance

Luckily Kolel was in no condition to follow him. He continued to scream in fury and agony but to no avail

“So you don’t even have the guts to fight fair! You disgusting filth!”

“Purple Giant School will find you and kill you!”

Even if the laughter was still around the more mature of the crowd knew that this day, the man under the name of Honem had made a great and dangerous enemy. Clans wherever they are from were not once that forgot or forgave. Kolel was only a low ranked discipline but if a true expert actually gave chase no man could live.

As the atmosphere was still comedic, a young and excited female couldn’t help speaking words that should never be spoken

“Purple Giant School, haha, such a pathetic bunch”

The young girl couldn’t help containing her disdain. Purple Giant School disciplines often berated smaller establishments and villages like they were untouchable gods.

The laughter actually quieted down in response to this comment

“Laughing at a comedic incident is one thing, but cursing the Purple Giant School does she have a death wish?”

“Owh, you stupid fool” her ugly brute of a father said

Words of pity left the mouth of several spectators. They knew that laughing here would not directly offend the school, but cursing it out right, was something else entirely.

Before the young girl could regret her decision….
