Get some bags of salts from the village. That was what he’d told him. Vassilinov was currently trying to guess what he, that strange good friend of his, Ruigne, was trying to do?

Was he stockpiling? But they only have two months left, even a bag of salt would last them for nearly a year, so he’s probably not doing that.

'Was it for that Mal’eur slug? Most probably but why he needed ‘some’. That would indicated he needed more than two. Strange.'

-but Vassilinov knew that he probably had something in mind, so he’ll just do what he asked him to do.

“How many bags you need?”

“Give me four.”

“Yes, honoured summoned.”

The man who was the quartermaster went inside the storehouse.

While waiting, Vassil use his [Multiplication] to summon one clone to carry them.

One minute later, the quartermaster came out with a stack of salt bags.

“Give it to this guy.”

“Ayup!”

After completing the task, there was nothing else to do but for Vassil, usual when he visit the village, he would spend some times talking with the local beauties but after several disastrous incidents, their reception towards him was avoidance even though he was one of the summoned.

Even so, he possessed a magnificent physique and devilish charm so he should have been forgiven right? But nope, he was viewed as a frivolous man who flirts too much.

He dejectedly sighed and just as he wanted to imprint his ‘clone and teleport-

“Excuse me honoured summoned, my name is Amila, a Healer. I was told by Miss Katarinova today that I should treat you and another summoned with ‘Healing Shower’.”

A human woman with Blonde long hair and fair complex wearing green feathered robe was looking at Vassil with a kind disposition.

Vassil stood stock still as he nearly gaped.

Vassil was struck to a daze by her earnest voice. Instantly, he was reminded of her mother. In fact, the whole reason he was infatuated with the opposite sex was because of his doting and attentive mother.

As of now, this woman reminded him of his mother.

He felt that his heart was seized by the sight of such marvellous woman, who in his mind, was glowing resplendently.

“W-well hello there, of course, how does a fair lady like thee can ease my uneasiness?”

“A few days ago, I was brought to where the summoned had lived because the leader of the summoned suddenly fainted. The summoned that brought me told that she had found him fainted in the room. Of course, nothing serious had happened but nonetheless, I was asked to relieve them with Eomancy.”

‘Really Rino? Were you trying to spare him from the shame of being knocked unconscious from your hug?’

Inwardly, Vassil was laughing to himself as he thought of this.

“So, is it alright?”

Amila with a confirming tone, asked again.

“Yes, I wouldn’t mind.”

Vassil turned towards his clone, imprinted him and instructed him to go back first.

She led Vassil into the Rest-house and started the session.

After a few minutes and the session was about to end-

“I… did you hear anything weird or bad about me from others?”

“Of course, each of the summoned had some weird quirks, so as a newcomer, I was given ‘warning’ especially about you. You had done quite a lot to scare off the women around here.”

Vassil physically retched upon hearing her nonchalantly said that. He relaxed himself as he resigned that she probably did this because he was the summoned and Rino asked her to.

“… I see, well, I apologized for imposing on you.”

The session end and Vassil got up while keeping his face down.

“No, it’s alright. You’re quite the gentleman contrary to what they say about you.”

“Well, my mother always told me to be courteous to anyone who shows the same level of courtesy.”

“You’re really not what they say. I was told before that a few mistakes can’t make a man or a woman.”

Seeing her radiant smile, he felt a tug on his heart string. He always flirts just for fun but he never meant to really take it seriously as it was a form of a release for him and don’t girls feel happy when someone showed interest on you?

But right now, the urge of taking the initiative was burning inside Vassil.

“Uh… Are you free tomorrow?”

“Are you asking me out Honoured Summoned or is it an order?”

“That’s harsh! You’re equating me to a tyrant if you say as such!”

“If I have my free will, then why not?”

She chuckled.

“I’m sorry for teasing you, Sir?”

“My name is Vassilinov Thradavik but just call me Vassil!”

“Then Sir Vassil, is lunch okay and we’ll meet at the canteen?”

“Certainly, I will do my utmost effort to make it the best lunch ever!”

“Then I look forward to it. Excuse me; I have to go back at my quarter lest my roommate thinks I’m missing, she is rather protective of me.”

Amila bowed and left while Vassil still was in a slight daze.

Both of them made a good impression on each other and there was no denying that both of them had subconsciously attracted each other.

After a minute, Vassil had a joyful grin plastered on his face and then he teleported back.
