Chap 3-Attacked

Chap 3-Attacked

After 3 hours of travelling and finding nothing except more trees, his stomach started to rumble. He was confused at first but then remembered “Ah right, mortals need to eat, food or something right?” He looked around for a minute or so before shrugging and creating a piece of cooked steak out of nothing for a low price of .05 origin energy.

After being surprised about the taste he finished up and started to walk for another few hours. After that he stumbled upon a tiger, or would be tiger if it wasn’t 3 times as big. Obviously the tiger had no idea how to pick it’s fights since it immediatly lunged at Ira, Not realising that it is probably his biggest mistake in life, and last aswell. Ira with his dragon instincts hit the tiger right in the nuts as it passed overhead. Killing the tiger instantly. *System: Lvl 69 Deep woods tiger slain* *System:Level up x31* “Huh, that’s pretty handy, I guess.” Storing the tiger in a pocket dimension for later examination.

After that he started to head off in the same direction as before, not really paying attention Ira started talking to himself “Time to meet humans, or elfs I don’t know” Just as he was saying that he heard the sound of a whistle, instinctively dodging an arrow aimed at his head only by a couple of centimeters. “Woah” Holding his hands up he faced the direction the arrow came from only to get shot again, this time only missing by a few millimeters. “Woah, hold up I’m obviously surrendering here, you trying to commit a war crime or something?” Ira exclaimed with wild gestures at his hands, probably a bad move on his part

“Shut up human trash!” Shouted a feminine voice from behind one of the bush. Ira with his infinite wisdom guessed who had attacked him, and quickly shifted his ears into pointed tips for a whole .5 origin energy. “Human? I don’t think you know what you’re talking about sister” He said, pointing at his pointed ears

“I don’t wanna hea- huh? wha- ” The feminine voice stuttered for an answer.

“Can you come out and greet me? Without the arrows preferably?” There was a moment of silent contemplation on the female’s side before slowly coming out from the underbrush. Ira stuck his hand out, “Nice to meet you, I’m Ira, but you can call me Ira.” He flashed her a grin

“Hello Ira, I’m Siora. I’m sorry for at you earlier, I didn’t notice your ears I thought you were human. Sorry.” She practically whispered the last part with a red face.

“Yeah I could tell, really. If I hadn’t moved there I wouldn’t be standing” He chuckled with a silly tone.

“Which tribe of elves are you from Ira?” Ira hadn’t heard about tribes before, but knew the basic concept of one from the omniverse,

so he decided to play it safe. “I’m not a part of any tribe you’d know, I came travelling from far away lands, crossing multiple seas and the deadliest of deserts “

He grinned, “Oh? Try me” She smiled “I come from the tribe of Klovem” He answered instantly and without hesitation. If there were oscar awards in this era he’d get definitely would get one.

“Hmmm, I’ve heard of them before, far to the west. Am I right?” She asked with a knowing tone “Uh, Yeah sure, let's go with that.” He said, willing to let her win this without much opposition. “You mind if I come with you when you go back to your village?” He asked once again

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

“Sure I don’t really mind, but you’ll have to get the permission of the elders to get in. What are you doing in this forest anyways?” She asked slightly worried at the answer

“I told you, I’m a traveller. I travel the world and have fun.” That was basically true, in a sense “I see. Well, follow me!” She exclaimed a reply and turned around to begin walking

“Sure” Ira followed Siora as she led him deeper into the forest. After a few kilometers of walking he began to notice that the plants were much more vibrant and contained more mana, he assumed that they were getting closer to the village since elves were very close to nature and used nature magic to enhance crops and vegetation. After a while Ira saw elven children running around and playing around small huts. Siora led Ira to a waiting area and told a guard to wait here with Ira.

“I’ll be back in a sec, stay here. Ok?” She asked “Sure.” Ira replied nonchalantly. Ira tried to strike up a conversation with the guard but the guard gave him the cold shoulder. Ira wasn’t really bothered but became bored after another 5 minutes had passed without anything happening. However kept patiently waiting.

Siora finally came back after half an hour and told him to follow her, which Ira cheerfully did. “So we gonna go meet the elders or something?” Ira asked while trying not to stumble over his own feet. He stared at the children that in return stared at him for some reason. Ira was prepared for any scenario that was thrown at him, and would retaliate if deemed necessary.

Ira walked into the elder’s chamber, only to be met with 5 figures that were in raised podiums, looking down at him. Ira had never been praised as the creator or anything, but the way the ‘elders’ thought they were superior to him really pissed Ira off. But he didn’t allow any of that on his face of course. But he was sure that he would prank the elders in one way or another later on.

“State your reason for being in this forest, elf.” said one of the male elders with a commanding tone which Ira didn’t like at all. “I already told Siora here, I am simply a traveller that travels. If you don’t believe me I can’t really say much, all I’d like is to resupply and possibly get the potency of my magic measured, privately. And then be on my way like the traveller I am. Also I’m not sure you know this but I should be demanding some sort of compensation, I mean I nearly died due to carelessness. Just sayin." Ira replied with a carefree tone. Oblivious to the male elder’s hatred of travelling elves

“IMPERTINENCE! STUPID ELF YOU HAVE NO RIG-” Only to be cut off by another male elder, this time by the one in the very middle. Presumably the oldest one. “Silence! You fool. Young traveller Ira we will grant you a resupply and testing stone as compensation for this old fool over here” he said while pointing at the male elder

“However we ask that you stay and enjoy a celebration in the name of Godros, the god of soil and lignum, the god of fertility. We are going to be having a summer harvest soon and we will be having a sacrifice to the gods in exchange for a good harvest. Please join us”

The elder said with a gentle smile, Ira could detect no malevolence in the smile, however since his prayers and participation in the harvest may alert the gods of his presence he politely tried to decline “Oh, I appreciate the invite howe-” But before that he was cut off once again by the rude elder “Yeah Elf, join us for the summer harvest” The rude elder said with a venom laced tone. Probably planning something in his head already.

Ira really wanted to teach this childish elder a lesson, so he decided that if the gods found out about him he could just remove their memories of him, or completely replace the gods if needed. But that is the last solution to the problem. “Very well. I shall participate in this festival, however I require housing and new clothing as well, as you can all see my clothing is nothing more than tatters” Which was true in every sense of the word. All he was wearing right now was a loincloth and tunic that was ripped at all angles in every possible way, this was on created along with his avatar and on purpose, incase he needed to play the part of a victim attacked by bandits, or bears. Or whatever else. “That will all be provided for you.” The elder asked no other questions and Ira assumed that they were done, so he turned around and walked outside to meet up with Soria.
