Writathon participant.  Things begin to turn upside down in a sparsely populated city housing an infamous haunted forest when a group of friends— a pair of twins and their next door neighbour— find themselves in quite the predicament constantly at the mercy of the supernatural undead and humanoid faceless creatures (Blanks) on a rampant. As they try to unravel the mystery of these strange beasts, their loved ones slowly succumb to their own version of the Blanks which are capable of shape shifting and impersonating their prey. As they watch the world crumble, they must do what’s best— save it.
