[Commencing report...]
[Background: The name the locals use for this place is Aruth, at least in the local dialect. Basic physical constants seem to apply as they did on earth. There is no single word or concept of magic, but magic abounds, in many shapes and forms]
[See: For details on Magic - see Process 2291f Codename: Professor]
[Corollary: Because of this both humans and fauna on Aruth can lie across a wide spectrum of power. Sparse historical records indicate this has led to empires that have sprung up overnight to dominate vast geographic areas in a matter of years, led by massively powerful (presumably magic using) individuals. See the Frostfoot Mages, the Iravati Blood Clan and Airu Lakun Iskva.]

[Corollary: This is an also an extremely wild land - far wilder and less tamed than earth ever was. Records mention past instances of sudden changes or evolutions in the flora and fauna leading to rapid collapses or disappearances of civilizations]
[Corollary: Records are sparse and badly maintained. Very little of the wider history or geography outside of the Imperium is currently known]
[History: Kalaghutta lies at the eastern tail of the of the so called Imperium. The Imperium is a collection of over a hundred cities and a number of smaller towns and farmland, that rose to power over the last three hundred years. It is a feudal oligarchy ruled by a collection of noble houses]
[Geography: Communication and travel across long distances remains largely unheard of though there are partial records of magic-led empires that had some measure of long range communication]
[Corollary: Human civilization on Aruth seems to exist in isolated pockets broken up by vast tracts of wild, dangerous untamed land. Little is known of the wider geography beyond the immediate boundaries of any human collective. Any neighbouring collectives are either absorbed, symbiotic or razed. See the southern campaign]
