"Quite Interesting this place is..." muttered Dratz as he and Johnny entered the Local Energon Battle Center.
Johnny and Dratz made their way through the crowd and saw there sitting at the table signing autographs was Adam Thompson, the local champion who had earned his title at a competition earlier this year. Adam had been away on tour along with the other crowned champions working under the creator of Energon. He was dressed in a black jacket, white collar shirt, black jeans, and some brand name shoes. Adam had brown eyes and black hair and was the same age as Johnny, but a little shorter.
"There you are Johnny!" shouted Jason Palmer, Johnny's 15 year-old friend who lived in the same neighborhood as him. "So did you get your Energon yet?"
"Yep sure did Jason." Johnny said while gazing at the crowd."So what did I miss?"
"Nothing much yet, so far all Adam's done is just sign autographs and take pictures."said Jason as he and Johnny made their way to the front of the crowd.
"Mr. Thompson!", shouted a reporter who was doing a broadcast of Adam's visit."Will you be doing a few demonstrations with some of your fans?" asked the reporter.
"Well I suppose a battle or two wouldn't hurt." smiled Adam. "So..." said Adam as he stood up from his chair while putting on his Energon Battle Gauntlet. "Who wants to battle me?" he shouted towards his fans, all screaming for them to get chosen."Lets see..." he mumbled as he began walking around the crowd looking for someone to battle. He stopped, as his Energon's spirit appeared.
"That girl over there has a Lion..." whispered the spirit, as he yawned from awkening from his little nap. "You should choose her, I haven't faced a Energon of my own kind in such a long time." said the spirit as he returned back to his crystal.
"How about you? he said, as he pointed at the girl. "Would you like to battle me?" he asked, flashing his dazzling smile at the girl.
"You bet! I'm a huge fan Mr. Thompson!" said the girl as she was let over the rope dividing Adam and the crowd.
"Call me Adam okay." he laughed."It's not like we're grown ups yet. Anyways you know my name, what's yours?"
"Elena's the name Adam." she said with her face turning red from being so close to Adam.
"I'm guessing you're about 13 to 16 right?" asked Adam as he took Elena's hand and kissed it.
"Ah..." Elena muttered as she was surprised to be kissed by such a younger boy like that."Yep, I'm 16 actually." she said as she took her hand back from Adam.
"Ready to battle?" he asked as he walked to his side of the battle field in the Energon Battle Center.
"Yep." Elena replied as she made sure her Energon Battle Gauntlet was on right.
"Then lets get started." Adam said while putting in his energon crystal into his Energon Battle Gauntlet. Elena put hers into her Energon Battle Gauntlet as she nodded in approval.
"Energon Battle Field is now activated." said the computer as the battle field flashed on.
"Energon Battle Gauntlet activate!" shouted the two Energon Warriors as they raised their gauntlets up. Their gauntlets began to flash.
"Leo, King of the Beasts! Come on out" Adam shouted as his Energon Crystal shot out a black and purple light which came out with a ferocious roar as Leo's beastly form appeared. Leo was a lion, in fact the king of lions and other beasts. He was gigantic and actually the largest out of all Lions and even other creatures from his domain. He wore silver armor plated around his body with magic bracelets at the ankles of his feet. He had the strength and speed of a dragon. He had a yellow mane and with black fur. His eyes were brown and his voice deep. Leo roared once again awaiting Elena to release her Energon.
"Morzan, take the stage and show em what you've got!" shouted Elena. A light of rainbows appeared from out of her gauntlet into the form of a Lion. Morzan roared with the sound of thunder crackling. Morzan was dressed in a type of ultra rare armor. He had green pads with magic gems in them on his shoulders and knees. His paws were equipped with blue armor over them. His torso had a silver platted armor with 3 slashes of gold on its front and back. His tale had a ring on it with ancient symbols. He had a brown mane with green stripes and yellow fur.
The crowd cheered in excitement as the battle started. Up above the battle field were gigantic big wide screen TV's showing the statistics of the two Energons, players and the battle itself. The crowd looked up as they saw the stats on the two Energons. Leo, a level 1 Energon, was a dark Energon, with the elements of fire, air, and earth. His specialties were super strength, speed, wisdom, courage. He had a exceptionally high life force altogether making his attack force about 3500 and his defense force 3000. His known powers included being able to freeze time and space, teleport, duplicate himself, and launching psychic based attacks. Leo could also shoot beams of energy from his mouth, along with being able to cause massive quakes and launching damaging fire attacks. Morzan, a level 2 Energon as well, was a fire type Energon with the elements of fire and earth. He had very high strength, impossibly unmatchable wisdom, strong speed, average courage, and a semi-high life force which brought his attack force to 2300 and his defense 2600. He could slow time, shoot fire from anywhere, and could brainwash his opponents with his eyes. The crowd awed in wonder as they were curious to see who win between the two lions.

Both Adam and Elena glanced at their Energon Battle Gauntlets to view each others statistics. "Impressive..." said Adam as he turned his attention back to the battle. "Leo watch out for its eyes and make sure you're aware of your surroundings okay." shouted Adam as Leo floated to the ground with a nod to Adam's instructions. Leo closed his eyes and began to focus on his surroundings. Doing this increased his senses to the outside world.
"Morzan!" Elena shouted "Use your powers to slow time and attack with everything you have okay!"
Morzan obeyed as he was told and used his powers to slow time on the battle field and rushed at Leo. Leo quickly used his powers to freeze time and space so that it was only him, Morzan, Elena, and Adam were able to move on the battefield. "Now your Morzan has no time to slow down Elena." Adam said, looking down at his gauntlet to avoid Morzan's deadly eyes. "Now Leo, finish them off quickly with your Blazing Dark Nova Attack!"
Leo quickly teleported before Elena could respond with a command and attacked Morzan. "Blazing Dark Nova Attack! Leo shouted and then from his mouth appeared a black light with, with a red glow that began to grow bigger. Leo released the attack on Morzan, just as Morzan was about to run away. Morzan was hit and and fell to ground almost knocked unconscious by he amount of damage he just took. Leo landed on the ground, ready to finish off Morzan when he was suddenly hit with a tornado of fire from out of no where! Leo was knocked to the ground long enough for Morzan to quickly jump back up and strike Leo with his flame lid claws causing Leo to cry out in pain. Morzan jumped on top of Leo and began draining Leo's power for his own. Leo almost defeated, used his psychic force to knock Morzan into the air, while he gasped for air. Leo then began to shoot fire blasts at Morzan who was having trouble recover in the air.
"Morzan hurry! Use Destruction and Lava Burst!" cried out Elena as she panicked trying to find a way to save Morzan from defeat. Morzan used the last of his energy to use Destruction and Lava Burst on Leo. The battle field began to shake and holes began to appear. Leo had no choice but to float above the ground now. Lava began appearing everywhere, shooting itself at Leo at all directions. Leo teleported each time he was about to be hit and tried to create a barrier for himself,but was too late. He was hit with five shooting Lava Bursts and began to fall into the holes of the battle field. Eventually Leo fell inside the closing hole as Morzan landed.
"Yes we won!" shouted Elena with joy as she began jumping, but she noticed things still weren't back to normal. "It can't be..." she muttered looking at Adam to confirm her suspicions and saw Adam looking back with a smile.
"Sorry Elena, but it looks like I'm the winner here. You put up a good fight, but it wasn't enough for Leo and I." he said as he pointed to the ground.
Elena quickly looked and saw the ground was beginning to shake again. "Morzan look out!" she screamed. A hole apeared under Morzan, a hole filled with Lava, and up from it came Leo. Morzan jumped back to safety as Leo jumped out from the Lava and teleported. Morzan looked around for Leo, but was too late for Leo appeared from above to finsih him off with his Magma Roar! The Magma Roar came at Morzan in the same of a glowing red lion covered in magma. The attack was to large to avoid and Morzan roared for help as he was hit, but it was no use as he was immediately obliterated into fragments of light upon impact as his spirit returned to his crystal.
Leo returned back to Adam as the battle field deactivated itself. "Battle Is Now Over" said the computer over the speaker as the TV screens above showed Adam's Leo finishing off Elena's Morzan. The crowd erupted in cheer as they saw the outcome. Elena, though still stood in confusion looking at Adam.
"I don't get it.." Elena said as Adam waved to the crowd. "How did you win? I thought Leo was destroyed in that hole."
"Leo has the element of fire remember." answered Adam as he walked up to Elena. "He has the element of fire just like your Morzan, so when Leo entered the hole, he was able to combine his psychic powers for a barrier with his fire element to gain control of the lava. Leo was safe all along Elena. You put up a good fight though okay. Your pretty good and I think you could make it big if you focus hard and keep training Morzan." Adam said with a smile while trying to cheer up Elena while holding out his hand.
Elena took his hand and shook it with a smile back at Adam."Maybe we'll battle again?" she asked as she left the battle field.
"You bet Elena, I'm sure someday we'll meet again and battle." Adam said as he watched her walk away.
"So, Adam... was that the end of your demonstration for your fans or shall we battle one more." Leo said as his spirit appeared next to Adam, already fully rested from his battle.
"That depends Leo, are you up for another one?" said Adam as he returned to waving at his screaming fans.
"Of course I'm up for another one Adam, that battle may have taken a little longer than I expected but I'm capable of handling one more battle." yawned Leo as he returned to his crystal.
"Alright Leo, if you say so. Attention everyone! I will be facing one more lucky fan!" Adam said, as he stepped down from the battle field and began looking for another Energon Warrior to battle. Adam continued searching when he suddenly stopped for he felt something familiar call out to him. Adam's Energon crystal began to glow dark purple. He looked for what was causing this when he made eye contact with Johnny. Johnny's Enregon crystal had also begun to glow red and was shaking. "Him..." thought Adam as he eyed Johnny.
"Adam, what are you thinking?" whisper Leo as he appeared again beside Adam.
"I think he's our next opponent Leo and I think you better watch yourself this time. I have a bad feeling about him." said Adam as Leo nodded. "Hey kid!" Adam shouted as he pointed at Johnny, who was no longer looking at Adam but at his shaking Energon crystal. "Want to be next?"
Dratz quickly appeared beside Johnny."Johnny, this is our chance. I feel enormous power coming from that boy. I say we accept his challenge and battle him." said Dratz as he turned to look at Adam.
Johnny nodded in approval and looked back at Adam. "I accept your challenege!" Johnny shouted over the crowd.
"Good luck Johnny. Even though the odds are against you, you've still got a chance at winning. Underdogs always get lucky Johnny." said Jason as he patted Johnny on the back.
Johnny thanked Jason for the support and made his way to the Energan Battle Field.
"There you have it ladies and gentleman."The reporter said over his microphone to the camera. "Adam Thompson has agreed to battle one more lucky fan and we all get the chance to witness it live and in action!"
