Chapter 1: A New Journey! (10/10)

''This is our place!''
''Hahaha! What a good joke! Don't you know Shawn-san booked this place tonight!''
''Guys, calm down! No one can keep my inn all for themselves. Everybody can relax and enjoy here!''
''Dom-san, stay out of this! If you keep letting garbage like this in here, it'll start to stink!''
''What the hell did you say?! I guess you're in the mood for a good beating!''
‘Damn to your jaws... People should be sleeping at this hour, not shouting!’
Shin opened his closed eyes and got up from the bed in one move. With a very frustrated expression on his face, he started walking towards the door of his room. He had not taken his coat or any of his belongings with him. He only had the knife he always carried on him and the key to his room.
‘I'll just go get some fresh air, maybe these idiots will calm down then.’
He went out into the corridor and locked the door of his room.
‘No one is around on this floor for some reason. Maybe no one even went to their room to sleep because of the noise.’
He slowly walked down the corridor and went down the stairs. Unlike upstairs, this place looked quite lively. As can be seen from the sounds heard all the way to Shin's room.
''Where the heck did I come to...''
Shin shook his head angrily from side to side as he looked at the center of this lively environment. Strangely, there were no fights or arguments, but the noise now was even louder than before.
''We are all as one, we shall defeat the Black Dragon!"
''Heyyoo, heyyoo, heyyoo...''
''We decide Ardevant's fate!''
''Heyyoo, heyyoo, heyyoo!''
"Heir of the Flame Dragon, the wrath of hell!"
"HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY!"
"The hero's name was Herran Nast!"
''HEY, HEY, HEY!''
Shin sighed in exasperation and muttered aloud to himself. Although, even he couldn't hear the words coming out of his mouth.
''Huhh... Now they're hugging and dancing. I think it will be hard for me to rest tonight...''

With a hopeless expression on his face, he started walking towards the exit of the inn.
"Heey, you!
But a high-pitched voice stopped him. It came from a booth near the stairs.
''Go find that Minato guy. It's been a whole day of celebration and I haven't even stepped out yet because of him!''
The person who called out to Shin was a short and slender woman standing at the reception desk. Although her appearance and voice resembled a child at first glance, it was obvious just from the look on her face that she was not a minor. She also looked quite annoyed.
Shin didn't realize that she was calling him at first. That's why he kept walking towards the door, but when he heard the woman yelling again, he turned around and asked in confusion.
''Are you talking to me?
''Yes, is there anyone else besides you here?''
The boy was confused when he heard this. He was going to think about what she might want, but he didn't even have time for that because of her impatient behavior.
''Come on! Ahh, I'll go crazy if I stay in this ruckus any longer!''
Since he couldn't find much to say, he tried to pass her off simply.
''I think there is a misunderstanding. I don't understand what you're talking about.''
When he said this, she got even angrier and started shouting even louder.
''Look here, brat, don't make me mad any more than I already am, and bring that Minato! Has he sent you to piss me off or what!''
Shin was listening to the woman in astonishment, but he didn't understand anything about the situation.
''I'm telling you again, there is a misunderstanding. I'm a customer who came to stay at this inn and I don't know anyone named Minato.''
''Hahaha! Look at this brat, he knows how to joke. You gave me a good laugh. What would a brat like you be doing in this city? Did you come for a trip with your daddy or something?"
Shin was puzzled at first, trying to analyze the situation, but after so many insults, he began to lose his composure. Someone shouting at him for no reason on top of the constant noise around, caused him to lose his temper. Shin joined the chaotic scene and started shouting like everyone else.
''Miss, I'm not joking!''
''Is that so? Then can you show me your membership card?"
After the woman said that, she got up from her seat and started walking towards Shin. When Shin heard her, he searched all his pockets with his hands, but he couldn't find anything. The woman opened her palms for a while and waited for Shin to give her his card. When she didn't get anything, she took a deep breath and straightened her posture.
''Huhh... Why am I waiting for you!"
After saying that, she put her empty hands on the boy's shoulders and turned his body towards the door of the inn. Then she pushed him without waiting.
''Here's where you are supposed to go! You may be a newcomer, but if you don't want to be thrown out, you'd better listen to what I tell you!"
Shin turned his head back in surprise, but after seeing the woman's face that looked like an enraged monster, he turned around and left the inn without saying another word.
---
''Everyone is very tense today. I don't understand what kind of celebration this is...''
A chestnut-haired boy was enjoying the fresh air outside. Although he was silent in the face of what he had just experienced, he was in no state to do what the woman he met said. He was literally in no condition. He was already quite tired from walking all day long, and on top of that, he neither knew the person named Minato nor was he an employee at the inn.
‘The problem will be solved if I show my card later. I must have left it in the room.’
He paused for a moment and sighed as he closed his eyes.
‘Huhh... The air is quite pleasant. Compared to the noise inside, there is not even a sound here. I feel like it could be better if I slept on the street...’
He was disappointed with the place he experienced. He remembered the big man who introduced this place to him as the best inn he could find just a few hours ago. According to what he said, this inn was quite comfortable and welcomed the newcomers to the city warmly. Maybe Dom was really the person Kulong had described, but the other employees seemed strange to Shin. Sana seemed to be quite loyal to the inn, and then there was the angry woman he saw at the reception desk. Also, if it was going to be noisy like this every day, he might have to consider staying somewhere else.
‘This mountain is really unique. It is not only pleasant to look at, but it also acts as a beacon that illuminates the whole city with the light reflected on it.’
At first, he just wanted to get some fresh air in front of the inn, but after seeing the mountain, he started walking slowly toward it. The streets were quite empty compared to a few hours ago.
‘I just wanted to get some air, but a short walk wouldn't hurt either.’
Even though he complained that he had been walking all day just a little while ago, he had started to walk around again. Apparently, this city, where he came for the first time, had attracted his attention a lot. He wanted to see new parts of the city and discover things he never knew about this place.
‘It's a bit strange that the streets are almost completely empty in just a few hours, but I think everyone has gone under some roof. I hope Dom's Inn isn't a place those people visit every day. It must have been because of the celebration today. Pity me if it is this full every day...’
He had a great hope that the crowd in the inn was there because of the celebration. He didn't think he could bear this much noise every day. Especially after being completely alone for several months in the forests...
''Huhh... I think it's time to go back.''
As the cool winds began to fill the empty streets, Shin realized that it had been a while since he had started walking. When he looked at the mountain in front of him again, he realized that he had unintentionally extended what should have been a short walk. Wrapping his arms around his body, he turned around and started walking back to the inn the way he had come.
‘On second thought, it wouldn't be a good idea to sleep on the street.’
