**Call of Duty: Skeleton Warfare!**
{Hostiles coming from the left!}
Nodding his head Ender spins left, draws his bowstring, and releases an arrow that rips the head off the skeleton that tried to flank him, ending it's unlife as it tried to catch him off guard.
Multiple arrows begin to rain down on his position forcing him to dive behind some cover to ready his counter attack.
"How many bogeys remain, Ada?" Ender asks, hoping to avoid sticking his head out for an unlucky headshot.
{3 more. Two of them are sticking together while the other is attempting to flank you. It will come into range soon, get ready!}
"Roger," Ender affirms before readying another arrow. Leaning up over his cover Ender loosens the arrow and ducks back in immediately avoiding the hail of shots from the other skeletons. His shot aims true and he scores another headshot and kills the flanking skeleton.
{Great shot, Confirmed kill!}
Ender returns the bow into his inventory and equips his newest weapon, a Battle Staff.
"Lets finish the remaining tangos. Going in!"
*Zip!*
Ender blinks behind the final 2 skeletons and smashes the skeleton on the left in the head forcing it to stagger forward. Sweeping the second skeleton's legs out beneath it, he smashes it's sternum before tilting his head to the side to avoid the other's arrow after it recovered.
"Nice try..."
*Zip!*
He blinks above it and uses the gravity to enhance the power of his downward smash and watches as the skull explodes and it's body crumbles apart.
*Zip!*
Ender blinks next to the last skeleton as it gets back to it's feet and smashes the arm holding the arm causing it to fall off. The skeleton tries to punch him with it's free hand but Ender snips to the side to avoid it and uses his momentum to strike the skeleton in the back of it's skull knocking it off and causing it to crumble into defeat.
{All targets neutralized! Misson Complete! Return to HQ and rest, you've earned it soldier!}
"Sir!" Ender salutes blankly and exits the cave after the skeleton's despawn into particles. Plopping down on his sofa, Ender glances at his newly upgraded skill.
[Blunt Weapons. 36/100.]
"It leveled up a few times." Ender said.
{I'm not surprised. It's been proven that your skills would improve faster in live combat.}
Ender recalls his first time fighting a skeleton and how it nearly landed an arrow between his eyes. It terrified him how close his life ended so he blinked behind it and tore it apart with his bare hands.
From that point forward Ender had set up a number of obstacles to use as cover to make fighting them much simpler. A few large piles of dirt here and there. A wall or two of waist height or one story building height with openings to pass through.
After his safety precautions have been set, he started fighting skeletons in earnest. Ada even made a game out of it using military styled scenarios from something she had played called "Call of Duty." Not knowing what it was he just went with it and humored her.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Ada wanted Ender to call her "Colonel' but he stubbornly kept calling her Ada and felt like she was sulking.
"The skeletons were dangerously effective..." Ender comments.
{I know! I was surprised with how quick and accurate they were. They could plan and tried to flank you a few times. If skeletons were lime this I'd hate to see how scary the pillagers are.}
If Ada had a body she would shudder at the thought. Skeletons were capable of such simple tactics, imagine how deadly the crossbow wielding pillagers will be.
Other than normal Pillagers there are also Evokers who can summon the pixie like Vexes and launches magical fangs from the ground to rip their foes apart.
Vindicators are the muscles and will rush at their foes with axes either on foot or on the back of a ravager.
Illusioners are some of the most dangerous of the pillagers. They can cast a spell to blind their foes for 20 seconds. Cast an invisibility spell on themselves while simultaneously creating 4 duplicates. Unfortunately the duplicates are always within a very short distance from the original so locating them should not be too difficult.
Lastly is the Ravagers. Massive bull-like creatures that attack by charging and ramming their prey, attempting to gore them with their deadly horns. It's roar is capable of dealing damage and knocking back individuals nearby.
All in all, pillagers are more deadly than skeletons and will fuck you up if your ungeared and unprepared.

**Brewing and Enchantment.**
After 6 months of constant combat skill grinding. Ender decided to take a break and experiment with other production skills. Brewing and Enchantment to be precise.
Brewing is the process of creating potions by adding various ingredients to water bottles in a brewing stand.
By placing one or more bottles in the lower three slots of the brewing interface, an ingredient in the upper slot, and blaze powder in the fuel slot, you can distill the ingredient into each bottle and brew potions which may be consumed to grant an effect to the individual.
Every potion starts with a water bottle, made by filling a glass bottle at a water source or filled cauldron. Using blaze powder, the next step is to add a base ingredient to create a base potion, usually nether wart to create an awkward potion. By brewing an effect ingredient into the awkward potion in the same manner, the individual can create a potion with a working effect. A modifier ingredient (glowstone dust or redstone dust) may be added to make the effect more intense or last longer or change the effect entirely. Gunpowder can be added to a potion at any stage to convert it to a splash potion, which can be thrown to affect all individuals and mobs in a radius. Dragon's breath can be added to a splash potion to convert it to a lingering potion, which can be used to create a cloud which grants an effect as long as it remains. Each brewing step takes 20 seconds.
{Minecraft brewing is entirely cheating! Snape would have a hard on if he could have this shit.}
"Who's Snape?" Ender asked.
{He is... You know what, just read the Harry Potter books.}
"How can I read them?"
{When those books were made along with the bookshelves I had recorded the contents of every single book, manga, comics, novels, and fanfiction I had ever read. There is alot!}
"Oh," Ender says, "I thought they were just aesthetics."
{No, this isn't like the game. In reality the bookshelves need actual books. A word of advice: Ignore the Lusty Argonian Maid...}
"Why?"
{No reason...}
After setting up the brewing stand and placing the blaze rods and glass bottles in place, Ender begins looking over a few recipes and starts with the most basic one.
Potion of Healing: A potion capable of healing minor wounds such as lacerations, bruises, and sprains. That is merely the basic potions. When enhanced with blaze powder it can heal greater injuries. Deeper lacerations, broken bones, organ injuries. If it ain't fatal it can be healed.
The ingredients are Glistering Melon and Nether Warts for the Healing 1. Adding Glowstone enhances it to Healing 2.
Other potions he had brew were Fire Resistance, Potion of Strength, Potion of Swiftness, and even a Potion of Slow Falling that he amused himself with by jumping off a cliff a few times. Although he had to heal some tearfully painful broken legs when it wore off mid-fall one time.
The cheatsy recovery by chicken took care of that.
Next Ender started working on Enchantment and was surprised to see his unused stat increase after his first enchantment.
[Magic: 2/100.]
"Oh? My magic leveled up!" Ender said.
{I see. You needed to offer something up to enchant things and we don't have exp levels. I guess you can use magic. Lets see how much you can enchant before your drained.}
Ender nods, "okay."
The answer was 4 enchantments before his magic was drained. Even then he could only use low leveled enchantments.
Sharpness 1 on his current iron sword and Hardness 1 on his staff makes them much more deadly.
After recovering his magic he continued to enchant things randomly. Surprisingly even certain normal items can be enchanted.
Ender loves his Softness 1 Pillow!
To be continued...
