Chapter 2.

**Ada's Theory.**

{According to the information in the CCS, the system has everything possible pertaining the whole Minecraft series. Theoretically that includes the RPG aspects of Minecraft.}

"RPG?" asked Ender. He is unfamiliar with the term, of course Ada had forgotten. So she explains the term to him...

{RPG, or Role-playing Game. They are video games that centers around the growth of an individual or group of individuals throughout an overarching story or journey.

The RPG aspects of Minecraft focuses mostly on growing your skills and making them more efficient. An example being Archery. Constantly shooting a target, or targets will raise the skill level. When leveling up your arrows will go further, penetrate easier, let loose more than one arrow, and other bonuses.

Swordsmanship increases your combat instincts when wielding sword type weapons. There are also non-combative skills as well.}

Ender nods in understanding and asked in eagerness, "I can learn these skills and level them up?."

{Theoretically, you should be able to. You just need to perform certain actions over and over again. Wether you can level them up easier by using a target or live creatures, I cannot be sure. Luckily you have Spawn Eggs.}

Putting aside the spawn eggs Ender is more interested in learning more about the skills he can learn, level, and master.

"How do I go about learning these skills?"

{Simple! Just use em! Try punching and kicking something.}

Nodding his head Ender looks around before turning his focus to the tree he had been using as a shade since the beginning. Balling his hands into fists, Ender rears back his right fist and sends a punch directly into the tree with all of his strength.

*Thud!*

"..."

{... Ender?}

"... Ow." Ender nurses his bruised and throbbing right fist with his eyes watering. Ada could only look on apologetically.

{Perhaps... We should cover your knuckles with something to dampen the impact. I believe there is a recipe for bandages. Craft some to wrap around each hand.}

Ender obeys and crafts 2 rolls of bandages in plain white and wraps them snuggle around both knuckles. Tugging them once more to be safe, Ender returns his focus on the tree.

He gives the tree another right hook.

*Thud!*

And a left hook.

*Thud!*

He continues to punch the tree over and over again, alternating between both the left and right fists. He throws in a kick or two in the sequence at Ada's insistence. Occasionally Ender would use other parts of his body to strike, such as an elbow here or a knee there.

He would continue these repetitions over and over again for a few minutes until...

*Ding~*

[ Hand-to-Hand: 1/100.]

Ender hears a bell chime and looks at the quick window pop up on his left had saying that he had learned, or rather leveled up again.

"I learned hand-to-hand~" Ender hums happily. His self-torturing practice had paid off. He was happy despite the throbbing pain he fills in his knuckles, knees, elbows, and feet.

{Yes! I knew it would work! Now try it with...}

Ada gave Ender a short list of commands to follow and items to craft and use. Soon enough Ender had a number of skills he had learned.

*Ding~*

[Sprinting: 1/100.]

Ender had learned this skill after running up and down the beach at full speed a few times, exhausting himself a few times in the process. His running speed and stamina while sprinting increased when it leveled up.

*Ding~*

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

[Swords: 1/100.]

When using the wooden sword he had crafted his cuts and stabs were sharper and deeper. Instinctively he felt himself wasting less energy and adding more power to his swings.

*Splash!* *Splash!* *Splash*

*Ding~*

[Swimming. 1/100.]

Ada had Ender strip down and take a dip into the ocean, completely ignorant of the fact that her reincarnation was just born today and had in fact not learned to swim!

Luckily, much to her relief, Ender had gotten that beautiful chime as he was floundering around dangerously in the sea and instinctively learn to keep himself afloat.

He laid back on the beach and gave his most menacing EnderGlare at nothing in particular since Ada lacks a physical form.

"You tried to drown me..."

{Teehehe! Sowwy! Forgot that you might have not known how to swim!}

"Hmph!"

Ender had long since proved Ada's theory about skills. By the time the sun had begun to set, he had learned a hefty number of skills and intends to learn more.

The day ends with Ender sleeping within a small makeshift shelter after a hearty and healthy meal.

...

**Ender Builds a Small Shack**

Ender wakes up to the second day of his new life fully recharged and ready to go. His makeshift shelter had left alot to be desired but it kept him from the cool night ocean breeze. He had slept well.

"Morning Ada..." Ender greets the almighty voice in his head.

{Good morning to you too, Ender. It looks like you slept well.}

He nods in affirmation.

{Before you do anything else today. I want you to look for a nice plot of clear land. Preferably near a decent freshwater source and within walking distance of the shore.}

"Why?"

{So that you can build yourself a proper shelter. I'm sorry to say, but that little thing you called a shelter isn't gonna cut it. You need more space to begin with. Additionally you should be a safe distance from the sea in the case of a tropical storm.}

He thinks about her reasoning for a moment before nodding, "okay."

After a short breakfast Ender cleans up and wanders into the forest to find a clearing that fits Ada's criteria. Along the way he had discovered a number of exotic fruits and wild vegetables that had not existed within the CCS. Once he collected these samples the system would scan and save them, thus allowing him to freely use them to his heart's content.

Since some of these resources are unknown to the Minecraft world, he would get a chance to research them and discover new uses for them within the system. Ender and Ada may yet create for themselves new potion, cooking, or crafting recipes.

After 30 minutes of forest exploration Ender comes across the ideal setting with a bonus.

A cliffside clearing with a cave entrance that has a small freshwater stream 5 minutes to the south. Here he could craft himself a decent shack while also converting the cave into a workshop/storage/training ground.

The cave leads to an huge open cavern with space that can accommodate his every need. Minus the hungry, sleeping bear. But Ender feels he can deal with it. According to Ada two whole football stadiums could be built with this much space.

But to deal with the unwanted bear and it's piles of mess prey remnants, a few human skeletal remains included, Ender took the easy route and blinked above the slumbering truck sized bear and plunged an iron sword he crafted straight into it's skull.

*Ding~*

[Swords: 2/100.]

{Huh, what do you know. Combat skills do level up easier against live opponents. We will be getting some use out of the Spawn Eggs soon.}

"... Still don't know what Spawn Eggs are."

{Tell you later. Suck the teddy into your inventory so we can add bear meat to the ever growing repertoire of meat ingredients.}

"Ok..." Ender obediently absorbs the dead bear into his inventory.

*Ding~*

[New food resource added: Bear Meat.]

Afterwards Ender follows Ada's instructions and digs out a very dig trench where he proceeds to disgard all the remains of the bear's past prey. He then pulls out a steamy hot bucket of lava and watches as it dissolves the waste into molten ash.

{Not the most dignified way of burying teddy's past victims, but it gets the job done.}

Nodding in agreement Ender watches as the lava eventually cools down into smoldering rock that was formerly magma. This world is not the Minecraft world. It has it's own natural laws, that while Ender may defy a few, some still apply.

Without a source the magma will eventually cool down. But until then it is a very powerful asset to use against enemies.

Ender eventually tidies up the cavern into a half decent hideout. Using a CCS crafted pickaxe he was able to cut out a few sturdy side rooms for his planned workshops while keeping the main cavern as his training grounds.

The first room to the left of the entrance is where the enchantment table will go. Second on the right will be his storage. But instead of common storage chests. He will use Ender Chest so that he can access his chest no matter where he goes.

After studying up on the chests, Ender discovered that unlike the game, he can access more than one of his chests with the portable chest he keeps on him.

It's useful because he cannot carry everything with him. Even with a Shulker Box. Shulker Box is portable storage. Ender Chest is cloud storage.

Going back outside the cave Ender follows Ada's instructions to build hinself a cozy little shack to live in. As much as he wants to wander and explore, he understands that he is far too young and weak to travel.

Ender's eyes begin to glow and within his sight a holographic outline of a small structure appears up against the cave entrance. It's make is of a stone and wood exterior with the main support being of stone and wood of everything else.

A front door in the middle, two windows on each side. No more for his shack. The interior is that of a single large room furnished with a single soft sofa and a table on each side in front of fireplace. To the right side of the chimney is two sets of bookselfs built into the wall.

If one were to reach their hand into the chimney they would find a hidden button that would trigger a red stone contraption, which would in turn pull both bookshelves apart and reveal the path into the cave where another button awaits to close the hidden door.

All of this had taken Ender the whole day to complete following Ada's holographic blueprint to the point. Ender even has his own functioning bathroom and a very comfy bed.

"Where does all of the waste go in the toilet?" Ender asks Ada curiously.

{I dunno. Logic fails when you have a cheating ass system like this.}

After a healthy meal and spending some time cleaning up. Ender ends his second day of his new life.
