I'm not sure how long we've been swimming, but I don't think we had been swimming for long. I was already starting to run out of breath. Soon I'd probably pass out from the lack of air. Ha...I think that should be the least of my concerns right now. I'm underwater with a stranger...underwater...with a stranger.
My eyes widened to the realization that I probably shouldn't have trusted Luni to drag me underwater like this. For all I know, she could be a siren. Where the hell are we going?? Luni took my hand and she started swimming at incredible speeds, dragging me along. The strong speed made the water slap my face. I closed my eyes and begged that I'd be kept alive. Luni had started to slow down and I opened my eyes. I looked around to see that the water wasn't as dark as it was, meaning that there must've been a light source, or that we were nearing the top of the water.
I was about to let go of my breath until we reached the surface of the water. I gasped for air as we finally reached the dry atmosphere. "What?! We just swam to the bottom of the ocean...How are we back at the surface?!" Am I going crazy? We just swam to the... hm. I just might be crazy. I did let a stranger into my house without a second thought, and then blindly follow them to the ocean.
Luni looked at me and smiled. She was still holding onto my hand as I was trying to catch my breath and we swam back to the shore. Once we got there I flipped myself over on the sand. I looked at the sky and said "We swam...to the bottom of the ocean...to somehow turn around and go back to the top?" Luni looked at me confused. I thought "Why does she look confused when she's the one that brought me here? She's the one that been traveling back and forth, isn't she? Did I ask a stupid question?"
Luni raised an eyebrow and pointed to the ocean before speaking."No, in that ocean there is a wormhole to another world, so to say...this is the other world." I sat up and looked at Luni dumbfoundedly. "What? Are you playing around? Or are you serious?... Did you hit your head before you were found on the beach?" I looked around, trying to make sense of things. "Hey, Luni, why is it dark here?! Is this another world?" Luni stood up and brushed herself off. She then looked away from the beach to what appeared to be a street. I couldn't tell because here it was night time. I looked around for a while, trying to figure out my surroundings, but everything was unknown and new to me. Luni then looked at me and smiled. "Do you trust me? If you do, then follow me. I promise I'll explain everything."

I can't help but feel some sort of guilt when she says that. I guess it'd be rude not to since she trusted me.
I'll admit it, I'm a bit scared, but in a good way? I looked at Luni before speaking. "Hey, Luni, are you sure? Where are we going now? I don't know where anything is! I don't even know where I am!" Even though I was extremely confused I found it exciting that I was in an unknown place, it would be at times like this when I'd wish that my curiosity wasn't so powerful. Without hesitation, I stood up and walked over to Luni. It's not that I don't trust her, it's just that...this is beyond me. It's very obvious that she took me to another world, I don't see why I shouldn't trust what she says. I sighed and bit my nail. "Ok, I'll follow you." Luni smiled and started walking towards a sidewalk where the street she pointed to was. I followed her as we walked side by side. We hadn't walked far, we were only down the block from the beach before we crossed the street and continued going straight. I looked at the street sign to see what street it was. "Wasserman St..." Luni stopped walking and turned around smiling."We're here."She pointed to the right of her, where a big house was, and by big, I mean big. It puts me to shame. Not exactly a mansion, but still, of a pretty good size.
I stared in awe at the architecture of the house. I laughed and smiled before saying "Woah...are you serious? It's so nice." No wonder she was weird at my house. I'm a commoner to her. Luni nudged me with her elbow and said "Awe thanks. Now come on, let's go inside." I followed her inside the house and she invited me to sit down on the couch.
I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, it startled me for a second. I saw the stairs, and they were two flights, two long flights. Whoever it was came running down extremely fast. It absolutely was not a safe speed with the number of steps that they'd have to fall.
A girl with long hair in two ponytails emerged from the doorway into the living room. "Loire! You're back!" Luni jumped up and hugged the girl. She looked at me with slight disgust on her face, mid-hug."And who is this? Did you kidnap someone's son?"
"He's a friend. His name is Xiaojun." Luni turned to me and smiled.
