Planet Emoh. If you were to visit it, you would have thought it was a fantastical Earth with creatures, monsters, different races and all sorts of crazy things. and yet they feature humans like you and me.
This story isn't in Earth, but in a planet with 2 moons forever chasing one another and their star called Sol brightly shining on Emoh's azure radiant blue skies. In the planet Emoh, within the country called Opida, inside an abandoned white roomed laboratory, lies sleeping our protagonist. This is the start of his adventure.
His "Odd"yssey.
A name rings through his head. It sounds like his own voice, calling and calling but with no answer. "Jarvis! Jarvis!" the voice calls on and on until our protagonist wakes up. Having no recollection on what's going on, why is he here, where he is, and other questions one thinks when they find themselves in a strange location.
Sitting upright, he thinks and calms himself down before coming to the conclusion... that he knows nothing except the name 'Jarvis'. Could that be his name? Is it someone else's name? He decides it's probably his name. Jarvis. Afterall, it's the only thing he remembers and its most likely his own name. How could he forget his own name?
Jarvis looks around at the white room. There is broken desks and destroyed chairs in places it shouldn't be. It may be a white room, but the major mess of this place gives it a grayer look. On the floor where Jarvis is sitting on is... blood? Could it be his blood? Jarvis checks his body but there was no sign of scratches, cuts, nor bruises. Jarvis is no doctor or any medical student, but he noticed that the blood isn't fresh. It has a dark purple look rather than a crimson red and it shatters easily.
This confuses Jarvis. How long has he slept on this pile of blood? One thing is for sure is that there is dried blood on his clothes. So, Jarvis looks around the room. He finds a few lockers, but most are tied shut while one has a broken lock. Jarvis removes the lock with ease and opens the locker. There were books, lab jackets, a broken mirror on the backdoor of the locker, and some pants. Jarvis changed his bloody clothes and wore the pants and lab jacket. the lab jacket was a bit big but once Jarvis rolled his sleeves, the jacket suited fine. Jarvis' shirt was still bloody, so he took it off and buttoned the lab jacket all the way.

Jarvis continued to look around. He observed that this was probably a chemical lab judging from the countless spills of unidentified liquids and broken beakers.
So many questions filled Jarvis' head. All those questions stopped once he found the exit, as he opened the door to a bright and beautiful shining day. Jarvis saw a field of fully grown grass with a scattering of flowers peering out from the grass. In the distance, was a range of mountains facing south, a lone volcano on the east, and some hills looking westward.
Realizing that the mountains and the volcano are potentially dangerous, Jarvis follows the road towards the hills. Jarvis took the long walk on the dirt road and continues to observe his surroundings. The land was beautiful with an abundance of flora and fauna. Small red squirrels raced around chasing one another saw Jarvis and ran away. A dark brown striped deer can be seen at a distance eating the tall grass. Clouds slowly moved and morphed itself to many shapes along the western winds. The day was peaceful as long as you stayed at the road during the day.
Yet, Jarvis saw no other humans along his path or any path that intersected within his dirt path. Jarvis even came across a well-built stone bridge crossing a great river, but still no signs of human life. Only the lives of birds that flew above the bridge and of fishes and amphibians that swam under the bridge. Even with no other humans, Jarvis just admired the scenery and kept walking straight until he reached a split in the road.
In the middle of the road was a sign written in Common Tounge. Due to the nature of Common Tounge, the sign reads "To your left is the path of the Forest of Tor. To your right is the path of Tor Village." Around this area, you could see the forest mentioned in the sign and the village on the horizon, as well as grass, not as tall and fully matured as the fields he once past and not as green as the other side of the path he once walked, but right in front of the sign was a huge hill with smaller hills surrounding it.
Curiosity struck Jarvis and wonders what it's like to climb that hill. It'll only take a couple of hours he supposes, and the Sol is still right above him, so he has plenty of time to visit the village. And so, armed with a decent sized stick he found on his trail, one he used as a walking stick, and a sudden determination to explore, Jarvis ignored the sign and continues to walk straight ahead onto the grass and onto the hills to get a better view.
