I knocked on the door several times until I heard someone yell "I'm coming!" from inside.

After hearing that scream, a few seconds later someone opened the door.

She was a woman with long black hair. She had very beautiful brown eyes, a slender body, a delicate rounded face, and her nose, which despite being small was very thin.

I was in shock for a few seconds because of how beautiful she was, but I immediately regained my composure.

"Are you Goddess Abeona? I came from the guild to see if she could become part of her familia."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not Abeona" When she said that, she started to feel embarrassed. She reminded me of the time I mistook a girl for a friend, in the end, the girl ended up insulting me and yelling 'Sexist' for greeting her as if, we knew each other. That was very embarrassing because there were a lot of people around. Not wanting to remember that experience I try to calm my embarrassment and scream

"Sorry I mistook you for someone else!" I turned to leave, but she suddenly said "Where are you going? Abeona left to do the shopping, you can come inside and wait for her to arrive"

"Eh?" For a moment I felt my mind short-circuited

Seeing my confused look, she laughed and said "I guess the guild didn't inform you about me"

I nodded, still confused by this outcome.

"I am Goddess Adeona, Abeona is my sister. I have no interest in starting a familia and I only came down because I wanted to be with my sister. So you can wait for her inside the house and if you want I can prepare you some food, you seem very hungry".

With almost all my doubts cleared, I told her "thank you very much, and as for the food. If it's not too much trouble, I would appreciate it if you could give me some food" I was thinking of telling her that I wasn't hungry. But I think it's a bad idea and a very bad first impression trying to lie to a Goddess shortly after the meeting.

"You can make yourself at home," she told me, as we entered the house. There was some furniture, but the decorations were very simple, like some vases with flowers and some carved wooden figures.

She went to what appeared to be the kitchen and began to cook. I tried to help her, but she said "Don't worry. Sit on one of the sofas, I'll do the cooking."

My nerves do not allow me to relax and sit on one of the sofas. I could only reluctantly sit on the wooden chair.

Tens of minutes passed until she finally finished cooking.

"Sorry I can't cook anymore, but right now we only have spaghetti" She sat down in a chair on the other side of the table, having handed me a plate of spaghetti with sauce.

When I saw the spaghetti I felt my stomach start to rumble, and I started to eat, but not before saying "Thank you very much!" while eating she just stared at me with a warm smile.

"You seem new to Orario. What made you want to join my sister's familia?" She asked me as I continued to eat.

I swallowed the food that I had in her mouth and answered her. "I want to become an adventurer and I chose the familia that caught my attention the most" I went back to eat, after answering her and she nodded her head.

"By the way, isn't that hood you're wearing in the way?"

She surprised me with that question because she caught me off guard, I completely forgot that I'd been wearing the hoodie and hadn't taken it down since I got it.

"It doesn't bother me much," I said a very simple answer.

She raised the corners of her mouth and said, "can you pull your hood down? I want to see you without you wearing it" I hesitated for a moment, but I remembered that the people I've seen haven't had much of a reaction to seeing my face, despite how strange my eyes and pale skin look.

"Okay, but can you promise not to tell anyone what you're going to see or at least prevent too many people from knowing?" I told her, as she tried to make me look as serious as possible.

"It makes me want to see you more. But it's okay, I promise."

When I heard her, I started to lower the hood, and when I finished doing it. I saw that her jaw dropped. Maybe it's very strange to have little wings on the head.

I was beginning to have doubts about whether it was a good idea to show her. But her next reaction surprised me.

"You look so cute, can I stroke the wings on your head?" She started to embarrass me a bit. Very few times have I been complimented on my appearance or anything else and this is a new experience that I have not had before.

I could only answer "Okay… but don't play too much," I said the last part with a slightly lower voice.

She got up from the chair, stood next to me, and began to stroke my head first and then my wings. This feeling is somewhat comforting and I wouldn't mind if it would continue for quite some time.

The feeling is very nice. But before she could continue, we heard the door open and someone yells "Abeona! We're done shopping."

After that, we saw two girls with light brown hair and eyes come in. One of the girls had cat ears and the other a wolf. he boy with brown hair and reddish eyes, and lastly a woman with a similar appearance to the person next to me, except she didn't have long hair. She also had some small facial differences from the goddess who was stroking my head.

"We bought…" There was an awkward silence when one of the girls who was about to say something, saw us and they all realized my presence and that of the Goddess.
