Sevyn sat languidly on a large boulder taking in the vibrant greenery around her. The large trees hung their branches over head at dizzying heights at least in the tens to some even reaching hundreds of metres in elevation. Leaves providing a nigh unending canopy as far as the eye could see with sparse openings allowing the morning sun through. Birds of all kinds of shapes and sizes flew between or just above the canopy of trees their singing added to the picturesque setting. The few fluffy clouds moved lazily above the endless jungle casting great shadows to bloat out swathes of trees. Overall, an incredible sight made all the more mesmerising by the absolutely colossal moon far closer to the planet than it should have been.
In contrast to her surroundings the Ehror exuding from her porcelain features seemed oppressive, muting the surrounding colour and sounds as if on a warpath. Giving the immediate area around her a dark indigo hue. Sevyn tilted her head, short black straight hair falling to one side as her bangs shifted making the small purple almost glass-like upward pointing horns just above her head more visible. Her red eyes housed slitted pupils gave her enchanting face a terrifying majesty to them, combined with her carefree stance gave the impression of prey in front of a lounging cat. She war black baggy pants held up by a brown buckled belt and a white tube top as well as a small and thin dark-red armless jacket over it showing off lithe muscles on her arm and midriff. Despite her physical appearance giving off an air of laziness and blank expression, the very air and aura pressing on the surroundings from her position betrayed her true emotions.
Angelo stepped in sheepishly from the side into the small clearing she overlooked. His short brown hair framed his cute features made even more so by the nervous expression on his face. Sev’s mood was especially bad today and would likely get worse. He looked up barely able to meet her disquieting eyes, his own calm blue eyes revealed cross shaped pupils each of the four spokes of the cross ending at a point. He wore a plain black t-shirt and similar baggy pants to her white in colour. Her eyes turned to him studying him for a brief moment increasing his discomfort and the words got caught in his throat before looking away again.
“Spit it out, not like I am going to eat you.” She sighed, reigning in her Ehror.
“Ga-Gael is leading the monster this way.” He finally managed to blurt out.
Her eyes took a brief brightness, which frankly made them even more terrifying. Before they settled back down to their previous listlessness.
“The giant wolf creature we saw? I guess that would alleviate my boredom if only briefly.” She stood to her considerable height of just above 6 foot.
That’s right, the reason for her mood was incredible boredom. They had been wandering through the jungle for the last 8 days without a way out of the literal woods. She had been reaching her limit. The surroundings had interested her for the first 3 days before they became far too repetitive for her taste. Frankly she was tired of trees and wanted to see other people besides Gael and as cute as he was Angelo too. Heck she wouldn’t mind seeing Hector again although she knew he would get annoying quickly. However she appreciated that she found his constant challenges towards her had always been a source of enjoyment to her even if she would never admit it to him.
In the distance one of the smaller trees got flung a short distance through the air as if hacked apart so violently it defied gravity which she assumed was exactly what happened.
“Let’s go,” She intoned with some excitement and slight bloodlust, jumping off the boulder in a leap that defied the laws of physics nearly reaching the leaves of the smaller trees around in the direction of the disturbance.
Angelo sighed with relief he never was sure with how to deal with a moody Sevyn, she never took out her mood on Gael or himself, but it always put a dampener on the mood of the group. It did not help that she was one of the scariest individuals he knew. He shuddered at past memories as he followed her sprinting gait.

Gael burst into a clearing and stopped as he saw Sevyn he was sure this was not the clearing they were meant to meet. Either way he did not have the time to lecture her as the trunk of a tree right behind him exploded in a shower of bark as a claw the size of a short sword burst it apart from the other side. He dove to the side as the gigantic wolf rushed into the clearing, a ferocious look on its snarling face. It was huge. Easily bigger than a large horse drawn cart. Gael brush aside his platinum coloured shoulder length hair from his handsome face as he rose from the ground, he wore a dark blue robe with black linings on its edge.
“This wasn’t were we agreed to meet.” He stated matter-of-factly.
“It wasn’t and yet we are here.” Her tone gave no room for negotiation.
“Well I have lured it to us definitely going to need some teamwork for this one.” He shrugged.
The wolf glanced around as it noticed the two new additions to the fight. Its growl rose an octave and the very air around it seemed to shimmer as if it was being heated up. Much like with Sevyn earlier the world was being suppressed with its Ehror. The capability to release its Ehror in this way meant that this was a strong monster they had to be on their guard. Angelo waved his hands through the air, twins dagger made their appearance out of nothing, they were a deep green in colour and gave off a small malevolent light.
“Ange.” She nodded to Angelo, he responded with a nod of his own before dashing towards the monster.
The wolf let off a howl so powerful it created a shockwave rippling through the surroundings, Angelo was briefly shocked but pressed on, they had fought similar monsters in the past 8 days and a few had abilities like this one. As long as they did not let up on the Ehror shielding them they would not suffer the paralysis effect. The wolf put its attention on Angelo as planned and charge going for a large from above. Angelo dropped into a slide underneath it slashing at it’s belly as he moved past. The daggers barely cut into the thick hide drawing thin lines of blood in their wake. Meanwhile Gael puts his hands up, the air around him cooled before shards of ice, each the size of a forearm formed in front of him. A moment later they short out at the wolf slamming into it face and drawing blood, however it was not nearly enough to put it down.
Sevyn followed a moment later flipping up into the air as the wolf was distracted by Angelo sticking close and dancing around its legs. She came down with an axe kick on its back staggering the wolf and causing it to stumble slightly. As she stepped back, the ground around the wolf froze up, it could get a good grip on the ground as she followed up Gael’s technique with a heavy shoulder tackle. The wolf slid across the ground into another tree forcefully enough to topple it over. More shards of ice flew at the wolf’s sprawled form drawing even more blood. It was going well so far but they couldn’t let up and allow the wolf to show its capabilities. Angelo’s daggers had been worn down, fading away like a green mist. He remade them and both he and Sevyn charged in after Gael’s last volley.
The combination of Sevyn’s kicks and Angelo’s slashes not to mention the occasional volley from Gael were definitely starting to wear down on the monster. That was until Angelo slipped up. Missing a slash to its from paw in the wolf’s thrashing as it tried to stand to its feet, it forced him into a stumble as he overshot and the paw caught him on his chest. Luckily he did not get hit by it’s claws but he was thrown several metres from the force of the blow. This gave the wolf the opening it sorely needed as Sevyn on her own was not enough to keep it busy due to its size. It was able to find purchase off the bottom of the fallen tree trunk and threw itself at her. Taking the full brunt of its attack with crossed arms she was flung to the side past Angelo with a shout.
“…It was going too well.” Gael muttered, he wasn’t worried however. Both Angelo and especially Sevyn were tough although they certainly couldn’t take many hits like that.
The wolf got onto its feet releasing a particularly explosive amount of Ehror to the surroundings, the shockwave this time was destructive cratering the area a few metres around the wolf.
“That’s just a waste of energy.” Sevyn stated as she stood up dusting off her clothes. “Would have been better off actually using that on us.”
Releasing Ehror like that required a lot of it and was exhausting, not to mention anyone bothering to read their opponent would see it coming. That being said the wolf was clearly still raring to go.
“Stomping on you was getting boring anyway.” She said bloodlust erupting as she gathered Ehror from deep within her.
