The streets were bustling with folks walking around, holding a basket of various sizes filled with fruits, vegetables and meat wrapped in a foil paper. It was lively with the sound of sellers shouting their goods, trying to attract customers and people chattering with their family and friends while others tried bargaining and also arguing with the sellers, deeming a lower price. It is not what people expected in this kind of days and ages, which were filled with various dangers lurking around- waiting in the dark.
It's been centuries already since the very first appearance of Primordial Beings into this damned wretched worlds. Humans once running from fear and terrors while also crying of mercies from the ever empty voices of the heavens has finally regained a tiny bit of their hopes. The Eclipse, which were the events named after the first Primordial descends upon the world has nearly wipe a quarter of human civilization. It is only right for them to enjoy every last bit of their lives, even knowing they could perished in a matter of seconds.
Right across the bustling streets, stand a tall two-story gray buildings. The signs read Ulricht's Bar, even in the evening, it's packed with folks dressed in light-metal armor carrying various kind of weapons. People were having a blasting evening, drinking and chattering with themselves as if celebrating a successful hunt.
"Did you see it yesterday? A bloody horde of 'Dentist' appeared out of no where. AHAH!" A man, with a defined jawline and hollow cheeks- drink his beer in a gulp. He is rather skinny with a ridiculous hairstyle.
"It's truly a blast! Luckily we were well prepared. If not, my wife would have thought I ran off with another woman again," says the big chubby man beside him. His head are bald with eyes that barely can be seen, cracks a joke at his friend. A big laughs starts to break from the group of friends.
"You are truly ungrateful bastard, Dwight. If I were you, I would've never cheats with other woman ever! Oh, poor Janice..."
Another man right across him, with a handsome face and black hair which were cut into a short middle-part said in a sarcastic voice. The only thing bothering his handsomeness is a clear burn mark right around his left eye.
"Shut up, Noah. Don't act like you didn't slept with her last night!" Dwight slams his cup of beer at the table before continuing.
"But I don't mind HAHAH! You can even fuck my daughter!"
Once again, they burst with a laugh- not even minding what conversation they had earlier. A bunch of idiots. The guy with a hollow cheeks later speak his worries again after his idiot bunch of friends started to calm down a little.
"But seriously man, what's the deal with many 'Dentist' appearing out of thin air lately? It's not like a Sixth is about to descend, it will take a very long time for it to happen."
'Dentist' as what the creatures called, are a monster which look like a mantis but with pale-white colors and a two sharp 'scissors hand'. They always moved in a horde ranges from 70 to a 100, despite that- they're the lowest rank of the Primordials. The lackeys of lackey, as what people called. But, a massive horde of Dentist could signify the descends of Primordial Beings.
Currently, since the very first descend of Primordial Beings- there's only five of them right now with each significance other take a long time to descends by itself. For example, the First and Second gaps around two and a half decades. The highest level of Primordial doesn't given a name, hence why they are only called as the first until the recent one, following a number of their descends.
"Who knows? If it really is, I might moved to another town already."
Noah pours another drink of beer into his cup. He then bring it to his mouth, sipping it slowly while enjoying every last drop of it. He slams the cup on the table, his eyes are drowsy and his neck couldn't support the weight of his head. He already drank a lot since the morning, but as everyone knows in the bar. Noah is a monster-drunker. He could drink a whole batch of beers two days straight without stopping.
"Moved?! Who would've expect someone like Noah the Gilliard will said something absurd as this!" The two other guys laughs absurdly with tears flowing out of their eyes.
"What's wrong with moving? I've already gotten tired of this town, besides I've already fuck with every woman here. Except Granny, of course." Noah pours yet another drink at his cup, ignoring the other two mockery.
"You're not moving until my daughter is pregnant with your seed. Can't waste the bloodline of a Gilliard to perish. I want your good genes." Dwight snatch Noah's cup away while smirking.

"What the hell, dude! Get yourself your own drinks." Noah turns his back towards the waitress and wave his hand. "Hey Nora, get me another barrel of beers!"
"Ugh, again Gilliard? You haven't even paid for your drinks yesterday and my 'service' too!" The waitress, Nora crosses her arm while looking at Noah- dead in the eyes. But still, she came over with his drinks in a matter of second and slams it on his table.
"Thanks, sweetheart. No worries, I'll visit you tonight too."
Noah wink at her then slap her butt with a smash. The waitress didn't paid any mind at all, everyone knows how he is. A drunkard with a handsome face and flirty personalities. Besides, he does very well in bed which makes all the woman in town fell for him. From someone's wife to all single woman around, he already taste them all but of course, underage girls and grannies are the only exceptions.
"Really Noah? You bang my wife last night and also Nora?! Geez, I really should learn from you." Dwight burst with another laugh, disbelief of what happen.
Noah was about to answer when the door to the bar were push open really hard. A boy, standing 4'5 with a sling bag full of papers appeared. He wears a baggy worn-out clothes and short pants while also footless. His face were covered in sweat and his face are pale. It looks like he ran a really long way from somewhere to the bar. His sudden appearance made the whole bunch of crowd inside silent.
"Babylonia... Babylonia has fallen! The Sixth has descend!"
This single statement was able to push everyone into a shock. Not a seconds past by when the people went into an uproar, rushing towards the boy. Everyone was trying to take the paper from the boy, a few who got first reads the context of the paper intently. It is confirmed, one of major fortress of human civilization has fallen- annihilated in a single night without any signs.
Babylonia, is one of humanity major cities which served a huge part of human survival over the past centuries. Since the first descends of Primordial Beings, 72 major cities has already been destroyed in the terrors of Primordials. After the news of Babylonia falls emerges out of nowhere, this has left humanity around 9 major cities.
For the past centuries, this is the second time of a major cities has fallen in one night completely unnoticed. Which the last time was around 14 years ago where humanity witnesses The Empire falls. The Empire which were said the strongest fortress of defense in the world, stood no chance against the terrors of the Third Primordial. It is also where the once proud and strongest races, the Gilliard live which were the three major races around at the time.
Hearing the sudden news, Noah stares blankly at his cup of beers. His memories of witnessing the terrors he experienced 14 years ago surge like a wave inside his head. His hands falls on his forehead, supporting him from the sudden headache he felt. 'No, noo... don't remember it!' His thoughts were in chaos. No man alive would want to experience the horror he witnesses back then, it is better to die miserably than staying alive. It is what every sane men would say.
"Hey, Noah. You okay, bud? You look pale as hell!"
Noticing Noah's pale face and shaky hands, Dwight threw his hand around Noah's back. Concern of his well being. He knew very well what happened to this flirty and playful bastard in the past, which make Dwight cared at him like a son. After a few minutes, Noah finally calm down. His thoughts are in place again, it look like the alcohol did well of suppressing his memories.
"I'm fine, Dwight. Thanks." He pushed Dwight's hands from him and take another sip of beer. The crowd behind are much more noisy than before. Some were arguing while others are crumpling on their knees and others wore a gloomy faces. The doomsday are much nearer than before.
Undisturbed by the noises, Noah ask a rather silly questions. "Where was Babylonia again? I can't really remember." He stares at his two friends while wearing a confused look.
"You don't know really?" The hollow cheek man stares at Noah intently. Seeing Noah was silent, he continued. "If you don't know, then what makes you think that we both knows too? It could be everywhere! The South maybe."
"No, don't lump me with an idiot like both of you two Brian. Babylonia is located in the West, right near the Ayla's Ruin." Dwight answered confidently while smirking and sipping his beer as if mocking both Noah and the hollow-cheek Brian.
"Isn't that the Great Wall?" Noah stares at Dwight, unsure whether his friend are right or confused of the two major cities. Hearing Noah questions made Dwight cough, he then wear a silly look on his face. "Maybe it's in the South then."
Both Noah and Brian stares at each other before bursting with a laugh. They continued their conversations until it was late midnight. The town were still in an uproar and shock upon the news of Babylonia's fall. Some were having a mental breakdown and crying to their heart while some stays silent and praying silently. But, there's no one to pray to- they all realized the fact that they are alone in this damned world. Awaiting for their own death.
When the bar closed, Noah walks alone with a bottle of beers in his hand. He walks sluggishly, almost stumbling in a most embarrassing way. The sky were beautiful tonight with no moon in sight, which make the stars as brighter as ever. On his way back home, he sang cheerfully, almost forgetting that the news of Babylonia falls never happen.
"Life sure is nice sometimes."
He mumbles to himself, with a close eyes. Not realizing he was being watched by a hooded figure in black this entire time. Since the very evening in the bar, his every action and words were observed by someone. Unaware of this, he continue to walk until he arrived at his apartment which he shared with other tenants, he then slowly take the stairs up to his room. When Noah finally arrived in front of his room, the figure finally disappeared without him noticing. He struggles with the keys, but after a few times trying; the door finally open. Without wasting time, he lock the door and ran straight at his bed- seconds passed and he fell into a deep sleep.
