A group of people appeared at my entrance, it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long since the last group but this group is a little different. They’re still military but each person has a different weapon, one has a normal gun like the last batch, one has some sort of gun i can’t seem to place, one has a sword and the last one just has a sidearm, but it seems to be holstered.
Odd bunch here but I assume they’re testing for ways to damage my golems, I’m not too worried, the sword makes me a bit nervous but it wasn’t made in the dungeon so I doubt it’ll do anything, the only real threat seems to be the man with the holstered pistol, I believe they’re using him as a hand to hand fighter to either hold the monsters down or to straight up fight them. Id say the best bet is to hold them as he has more armor on than the others.
I managed to get enough mama over time to get another gold but I still can’t get another goblin, I’ll have to rely on Ruby and Sapphire to handle this. I hope I don’t lose monsters permanently when they are beaten. But I’ll have to wait and see how that works.
Go send them back to the outside guys, and take what you can off of them for some nice upgrades if possible.
I watch as my two goblins dart off toward the intruders, I watch curious about this unusual gun and to see how the sword fares against my gobs. It doesn’t take long before I hear gunfire and yelling again, the gobs are almost on top of them when it starts. It looks like they’re wearing night vision goggles but they must not be working right in here for some reason, maybe my mana is messing with it? The man with the sword swings but the blade bounces harmlessly off of Ruby’s fur, she swipes at him in response but he managed to dodge by falling on his rear.

The soldier with the unusual gun was busy looking over the weapon, it’s like it’s not working or something. Maybe if something is advanced enough if just doesn’t work in here? That would be nice, no need to worry about getting nuked. Looking over I see Sapphire lunge at the soldier with the weird gun and she gets tackled by the bare handed soldier. He puts her in some sort of hold and keeps her still as the other soldier peppers her with gun fire. Seems a bit unsafe but with the bullets just stopping as soon as they touch her I’m not really worried.
Click click, oh is that the sound of an empty rifle attempting to be fired I hear? All out of ammo? That’s so sad, we’ll you better be off then. Snap! What was that? Oh crap, they figured it out. Sapphires limp body laid there on top of the soldier who it seems managed to snap her neck. Ruby was furious, I could feel it but I ordered her to retreat for now. They’ll have to leave to re stock before even attempting to come any deeper. She’s hesitant but obeys after a short pause.
Watching the soldiers collect themselves they congratulate the soldier that killed Sapphire and they attempt to drag her body out with them, but her body dissolved leaving behind a small crystal. They seemed cautious, well all but the guy with the sword saying something about how awesome it’ll be to farm for loot in here. They grab the crystal with tweezers and put it in a plastic container and leave, but not without the last one, the one with the sword saying one last thing. “My name is Jordan Bevans, and I will be back one way or another.” I kind of like him, before he fully leaves I see his body begin to glow just ever so slightly as he leaves my dungeon.
