“It’s the missile!” Dawud replied.
“Run!” Dusty yelled. Dusty and Dawud started running from the hotel. The xail continued to celebrate their victory over the army and didn’t hear Dusty, the missile landed and the xail blew up.
“There’s no way anyone could have survived that, not ever the xail,” Dusty said sadly.
“Why are you sad about that?” Dawud asked, “They tried to kill an entire planet.”
“Because a loss of life is still a loss of life, and I can’t help but wonder whether or not there are more xail out there.”
