Prologue: Destruction, but not the end

A dungeon has been brought down by the hero. The dungeon’s core was destroyed, but the soul of the dungeon wasn't. As for the reason of his death. It was never explained to him, but for the humans who destroyed the dungeon core. The only reason they had was to survive.

The dungeon had ordered most of its creatures to go out and seek for other dungeons. Usually, no dungeons are able to send out creatures, unless the dungeon pays the price by stopping creature creation within himself, risking the danger of adventurers and explorers finding his core with less creatures to defending it.

Even with the risk, he decided to do it. He was confident of being able to kill adventurers who tries to go on the higher levels of his dungeon. The reason for it, was because no one has ever reached it, but he never imagined humans would have sent an army of elite soldiers and a hero to destroy his core.

When, the dungeon sent his creatures to search for other dungeons. The adventurers and explorers that was inside the dungeon got annihilated by creatures they have never seen before. The king hearing the news of adventurers and explorers getting killed by monsters they have never seen and monsters that are usually only seen in explored higher floors, decided to investigate. When the reports arrived. It’ said that the dungeon is creating an invasion and must be reported to the king immediately. The king sent his elite troops and a hero to destroy the core dungeon and destroy the core. After destroying the core all the surviving creatures fled and created their own habitants outside the dungeon and even creating monster camps/field monsters.

After the Core got destroyed the soul of the dungeon was now in the middle of a white space.

“Welcome, to the space of creation.”

A voice called out to the floating white-layered purple soul flame in the middle of the white space. The soul flame flickered as if it was shocked from the voice.

This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.

“You may have cause some trouble in that world, but since you are the oldest dungeon in that world. I will let you live another life.”

The mysterious genderless voice said to the purple flame soul. The Dungeon’s soul flickered a few times, as if understanding what was said by the unknown voice. The soul flickered a few more times.

“Yes, for your curiosity’s sake. I am a God. A God of Creation. Also, I will give you a few blessings from me and in exchange you have to find someone who have been causing chaos to the world I created.”

The voice answered the soul’s question and continued to give advice to him on what to do, once he gets reincarnated.

“Let me hear your wish, as an advanced payment for troubling you to do a task. I’m only able to create and predict the future, which is why I’m sending you.”

The purple flamed soul flickered and floated up and down, talking with the voice.

“I’ll grant your wish, in exchange. You’ll do the task I have set upon you. Worry not, I will provide you help. When the right time is given.”

Lights starts to gather around the purple soul flame, as if surprised by what was happening around it. It jolted a bit then realized what was happening.

“I’m only able to turn you into, a newborn for they will notice you quickly and kill you. It is best to have you learn how things work in the world I created.”

The light burst and the soul purple flame is now gone. The voice however spoke alone in the empty white space.

“Interesting, for you to wish such a thing. You must really want to stay as a dungeon at heart, but I wonder how long it will last.”
