(???) “Hello little boy do you want to come with me to buy Dungeon Wars?”

(Kaiser) “Steve get lost if you want to have no friends soon stay, if not then get lost”

(Steve) “Awww and I thought that I had some candy that this little boy would want to get from me.”

(Kaiser) “What do you want to bribe from me today Steve”

(Steve) “Simple, as you know Dungeon Wars has just come out and there are many good co-op things in it so I want someone to play with me and as you pointed out you're my only friend so my ‘candy’ was that I was going to buy you the VR console and you buy Dungeon Wars so we can play together”

(Kaiser) “Why should I, the only reason you want me to buy it is to just to piggyback off my dungeon to raise your money”

(Steve) “Fine then if I promise you that I won’t use you as a in game money spawner and just as a partner then will you buy it so you can play with me?”

(Kaiser) “Fine but you have to but me the newest VR console in return because you know I don’t like VR games”

So that conversation led to us waiting in line for 6 hours waiting to buy the game and the VR machine for me, we also bought a portable dungeon handset as well. The portable dungeon handset is pretty much a glove which opens up a hologram of you dungeon where you can see how's your dungeon is going.

When I got home I started to set up the VR machine and then I started up Dungeon Wars

Where Would you like to Start: Ancient Ruins, Volcano, Graveyard, SeaSide or Cave

Okay so The Ruins would probably be limited to ground type monsters and plant monsters, the volcano would probably only be able to host monsters that can only have the fire attribute or demons, and the same with seaside but for monsters with the water attribute. The Graveyard could be a good place but that means that I might have to have zombies or skeletons which is a big no-no in my books so that leaves the ruins or volcano to choose from. Wait looking back at the list wasn’t there the cave option. In a cave I could have water rooms or rooms with trees in it or rooms with lava in it, and my monsters could build a hidden settlement in it where the non warriors could live and warriors can live in there when no npc’s are attacking my dungeon.

(Kaiser) “Okay let's go with the Cave option”

Cave chosen, now please choose your starting monster for your dungeon, options vary with what dungeon layout you have chosen.

Goblins

Small monsters that breed really quickly. They rely and swarm tactics to kill their opponents

25 DP per Goblin, Goblins born in dungeon don't cost you anything

Level up costs 500 DP plus another 500 every level up. Evolutions can occur naturally once goblins reach level 5, Forced evolutions cost 1000 DP

Imps

Imps are small meschevious demons that have to flood their oppenents with numbers. They can evolve into most Demons

25 DP per Imp, Imps born in your dungeon don’t cost you any DP

Level up costs 500 DP plus another 500 every level up. Evolutions can occur naturally once Imps reach level 5, Forced evolutions cost 1250 DP

Slimes

Level Up

Weak creatures that are immune to physical attacks unless it hits their core but are especially vulnerable to magic attacks. Good for placing in pitfall traps or acting as a puddle

Costs 25 DP per Slime. Slimes cannot be bred

Leveling up costs 500 DP natural evolution depends on what environment the Slime is in and what it eats. A forced evolution costs 1000 DP

Plants

Level Up

A very rare starting monster due to their low attack and no mobility early on. Plants are very good in special effects like Sleep and Poison

Costs 10 DP per plants and require special circumstances to breed. Costs 20 DP per Tree

Leveling Up costs 300 DP per level plants can evolve naturally after level 3 or in certain environments/conditions

Insects

Useful creatures that are weak early on but can become quite powerful after evolution. Insects can Include Bees/Hornets, Centipedes, Ants and Beetles

Costs 15 DP for every Insect. Any Insects born from your dungeon won't cost you DP

Leveling up costs 500 DP per level, Insects evolve naturally in certain Environments and after Level 10. Forced evolution costs 5000 DP

Spiders

Deadly type of Monster that is not counted as another insect because even if forced to they won't work with other insects. They are masters in poison and stealth and can evolve to rely on brute strength.

It costs 25 DP per Spider and they every spider born in your dungeon won't cost you anything

Leveling up costs 700 DP per level and they can evolve naturally at level 7 or if certain conditions are met. Forced Evolutions cost 1300 DP

Golems

Strong Monsters that can have a varying evolutions. Like and unlike slimes they are very strong against melee and magical attacks unless they are hit in their core which is hidden randomly inside their body. They can be made out of any material

It costs 75 DP per Golem and because they cannot bred with other golems

Leveling up costs 600 DP per level. Golems can level up naturally at level 6 or under special Circumstances. Forces evolution costs 1200

Kobolds

Kobolds are the perfect foot soldiers as they can learn every aspect of war including things like being a ninja to a commander making them the perfect allrounders

It costs 50 DP per Kobolds and when they bred the babies won't cost you anything

Leveling up costs 600 DP per level, they also can evolve naturally after learning the appropriate skills. Forced evolution costs 1000 DP

Hmmm, So Goblins and Imps are out because they are too weak at the start with and require a lot of them to take down other people, so that means that if we are going with things that are too weak early levels that means the Slimes and Plants are out as well. So that means that all that is left is the insects, spiders, golem’s and the Kobolds, wait I asked a question as a spark of realization hit me.

(Kaiser) “Can I choose another monster as well as my starting monster in the game?”

Yes but it will cost you 250 DP for another monster and then you won't be able to buy any more, you would have to get more from the roullette machine.

Okay so that means that I could buy to powerful things and have a few of them patrolling the dungeon instead of a lot of weak ones. So if I chose a monster like a golem to be my main monster then once i get started I could unlock the Kobolds as support troop while using the Golems shock troops and traps in the floors and ceilings to make the adventurers more wary

(Kaiser) “Okay I’d like the Golems as my starting monster”

As a added bonus you may also choose a starting upgrade that could help your dungeon grow, there are many options available but because of your starting monsters being golems these are the recommended ones for you; DP Pump, Earth Affinity, Extra Durability, Self Mending, Extra Heart Defence or Hidden Room Knowledge. DP Pump

500 DP for first DP Pump Costs 250 more DP for every Pump you Own

Costs 100 DP to upgrade on DP Pump. When Upgraded DP Pump produces 50 DP every 5 Hours

Earth Affinity

Boosts all Earth type Monsters in your dungeons stats by 5%

1000 DP to use Earth Affinity than Earth Affinity will become a Passive skill

3000 DP to upgrade, Upgrade will Include monsters that have a Minor Earth Affinity, Increase Earth Monsters Stats by 7%

Extra Durability

Boosts all monsters in your dungeons health, defence and health regen by 1%

1000 DP to use then Extra Durability will then become a passive skill

300DP to upgrade. After upgrading then dungeon monsters health, defence and health regen increase by 3%

Self Mending

Any earth attribute monster with this skill can repair itself with the earth around it, thus repairing it’s health

750 DP per monster, then another 250 DP will be added on whenever you buy another one

Any earth attribute monster can upgrade itself with the earth or metals around it. Upgrade costs 5000 DP to upgrade.

Extra Heart Defence

When Heart is being threatened your final boss monster will revive and start attacking the people threatening your heart again

10000 DP to buy, after buying Extra Heart Defence it will become a passive skill.

2000 DP to upgrade. Upgrade makes it so when boss monster revives he will receive a power up

Hidden Room Knowledge

Learn how to make and use a hidden room. Perfect for monster towns in dungeon and for hiding away the dungeon heart

500 DP per hidden room

2000 DP to upgrade, Upgrade makes it that the hidden door is harder to see to all those not apart of the dungeon

After looking through all of the options Kaiser straight away ruled out the Extra Heart Defence Upgrade because of how much it costs and the Extra Durability option because he thought that it would be to weak early on when the NPC attacking his dungeon should be weaker, he also decided that the DP Pump should be bought later on in the game because he would need a hidden room for it. He was deciding between self mending and earth affinity.

(Kaiser) “Well the Hidden Room Knowledge could be useful I suppose”
