Dungeon Battle

My alarm woke me up after 12 hours of sleep leaving me just enough time to get everything ready for the battle. After logging in to Dungeon Wars, Aion told me something interesting.

Kaiser your dungeon was attacked by some adventurers while you slept, you killed them all but they managed to get up to the Falling Golem Trap before being wiped out, I would recommend making more rooms, traps and Golems before your battle today

(Kaiser) “Don’t worry Aion, that was exactly my plan, did I earn any DP from killing those adventurers?”

Yes, you earned a extra 550 DP from killing 5 novice adventurers and gained the following loot: Iron Sword, Health Potion, Gold Coin, Bow and Stone Arrows

(Kaiser) “Good, I can make some more Golem Classes, now Open Dungeon Management”

After seeing this I decided to build 5 rooms and then made a Copper and Iron golem who held a bow and arrows, and made a Stone and Iron Golems who held Swords and I made it so my Boss held a sword instead of his normal spear. To make sure that it was permanent I rechecked my Stats.

I then made another Falling Golem Trap and moved the other one to the 5th room, I also made another pitfall trap and put it at the corridor leading to the boss room and moved the second one to the 3rd room. That left me with 1000 DP so I made a Iron Golem mob which had two normal Iron golem a swordsman and the bowman, I put them in the 6th room, that left me with 400 DP left so I made a copper golem, two stone golems and two dirt golem. One copper golem went in the 5th room, both of the stone golems went in the 4th room and a dirt on went in each the 3rd and second room, I also made the stone golem that was patrolling the first corridor to go into the 2nd room.

I then logged off and then went to set up the PDK (Portable Dungeon Kit).

Steve came over a little past 9 and we started connecting our PDK’s to each others, Steve explained the rules.

(Steve) “So what happens is that all of our dungeon monsters are duplicated for the fight half defend while the other half attacks the opponents dungeon the bosses are duplicated as well but the attacking one goes in last. The winner is decided by whoever gets to the opponents core the first wins, if all of our monsters are defeated we need to wait five minutes for them to respawn but the respawn countdown only starts when the last monster is defeated, do you understand those rules Kaiser”

(Kaiser) “Yah sounds simple enough to me, and how about after the fight we introduce each others AI’s to each other and add each other as friends so when we go online we can visit each other?”

(Steve) “Sure, that sounds good with me, is your dungeon connected to mine yet?”

(Kaiser) “Yeah it's done, you ready, 3,2,1 go!!!”

Watching over my dungeon I saw my dirt and stone golems start running up to Steve’s dungeon the stone golems started using the dirt golems and using the skill fuse and when the spiders were distracted with the dirt golems the stone golems appeared behind them and smashed them with their hard fists, unfortunately after no casualties on the first and second rooms the spiders in the third room caught on to the strategy and started to pair up with each other, after losing a Iron Golem, a Copper Bowman Golem, and the dirt and stone golems my golems managers to get to the 6th and final room in Steve’s dungeon. On the other hand in my dungeon, Steve’s Spiders weren’t faring that well, my pitfall traps didn’t get much kills but the Falling Golem trap was quite effective because the spiders were climbing on the ceiling when it broke, killing them. The Spiders have managed to get up the the 5th room in my dungeon and they were nearly up to the 6th room. Back to attacking Steve’s dungeon, the boss was a massive spider that had corrosive poison on it’s fangs, it was 4 feet tall and 5 feet long with 8 spear like legs, it had to two tiny spider with it that snuck in the shadows and attacked my golems when the were distracted. When my golems managed to kill the two spiders and cut off 3 of the boss spiders feet, I was left with only my boss monster and a Archer Golem and a Swordsman Golem. Then the Archer Golem made a lucky shot that instead of hitting the hard skin of the Spider, it instead hit a eye and made the spider reel back in pain, the Swordsman seeing an opportunity ran forward and went to stab the spider in its unprotected underside, only to find that the spider had stabbed it in its heart, killing it instantly, the Spider then went and spat it’s corrosive acid out and hit the archer dissolving it. The Gladiator enraged at the death of its teammates ran forward and started to jab and slash at the spider. The spider then spat the corrosive acid again and hit the gladiator's shield arm, not caring about that in the gladiator's arm left arms moments threw the shield at the slider making it jump up to dodge the attack, only to fall on the Gladiator's sword which was upright because the gladiator exhausted fell onto it’s knees and in an effort to kill the spider lifted up its sword to the air. After shoving the Spider off it’s body it slowly made it’s way through the room to the next room, which held the Core floating in midair. Limping towards it my Gladiator then touched it with it’s one good hand and then fell to the ground dead.

Pleased with my troops I looked over to see how far Steve got surprised I found out that he had already defeated my boss but couldn’t seem to find the room in which my core was in. Laughing I showed him where the room was

(Steve) “How is it there I am positive I checked there, you must have tricked me and hid it somewhere else when we were battling.”

(Kaiser) “Not true the trick is that you need to the Iron Gladiators core into this little slot here then the door will become able to open, otherwise it will become impossible to open, I also believed to owe me something, as in 1000 DP worth”

(Steve) “Fine then, but next time I will beat you”

Congratulations, You have successfully won you first Dungeon battle as a reward you have one free Roulette Spin. Your reward of 1000 DP has successfully been transferred to your account.

(Steve) “You also realise that if you don’t have enough money to give what you owe at the end of the battle your DP goes into the negatives and you can’t but anything or do any battles until you are back into the positives.”

(Kaiser) “No I didn’t realise that but since I just won my first Dungeon battle I just got a free roulette spin from it”

(Steve) “Lucky, I just got a complimentary 100 DP, well I’ll be going now call me when you finished and tell me what you got from the roulette spin, okay”

(Kaiser) “Sure but if I get something good, I’m going to rub in it in your face”

After Steve left I went and turned on the VR machine, logging in I heard Aion telling me what had happened before and during the battle

Kaiser no adventurers have come yet but that is because when the battle was about the start our dungeon closed itself up and a teleportation gate opened up. However I am quite surprised that they didn’t figure out what the key was.

(Kaiser) “Alright thanks for that Aion, I’m going to do the roulette spin now so wish me luck”

Alright then, good luck Kaiser

(Kaiser) “Thanks Aion, now Open Dungeon Management”

Selecting the 1 free time roulette I saw a Slot Machine I saw that it had a picture of a dragon on it, figuring that that was the grand prize I swung the handle down, various monster images popped up on the screen and then it slowed down on the dragon. Excited i threw my hands up and then I saw something terrible, the slot machine went past the dragon and stopped on a egg, A fucking egg, out of everything I could have gotten I got a egg.

Congratulations you have claimed Mysterious Egg??? Mysterious Egg is a one time use monster and you can only have one of this monster per dungeon

Great I’m now stuck with a egg which I can only place down once.

Kaiser, I would recommend that you buy a incubator from the Store which you have unlocked because you need something from it, but you only have one thing which you can buy from the store.

(Kaiser) “Aion what is the store?”

The store is a skill where if you get a monster that needs something or if you want more of something you have gotten from dead adventurers you can buy more from the store.

(Kaiser) “Well that's good to know, now Open Dungeon Management”

Selecting Yes It brought up a whole new menu which had more things in it

Items:

Wooden Bow - 50 DP

Stone Arrows - 5 DP each

Iron Sword - 50 DP

Incubator - 500 DP

Whew a whopping 500 DP just for a single incubator. Purchasing it made my grand total of DP to go down to 800 DP. I then put the Incubator in my core room and then purchased the egg and put it in the incubator. Unsurprisingly it said that it would take a unknown amount of time to hatch.

In the meantime I decided to continue with my original plan and decided to buy the Kobolds. Now that my total DP was at 550 I bought a sword and a bow with ten arrows. Then I bought 8 kobolds which put my DP at 0. I then gave a sword to a viscious looking one and the bow and arrows to a kobold that shied away from the others. I put two normal Kobolds with the archer Kobold and another kobold with the swordsman Kobold, the archer mob I put in the 6th room and the swordsman and the other kobold went in the 5th. The other 5 kobolds were scattered around the dungeon, most were paired up with a stone or copper golem to give them extra support. The Kobolds unlike the Golems automatically had a bone club which they carried around. I then Logged out to tell Steve what I got.
