'Ah, there you are. So usually I would be creating creatures... BUT that is not the case in all stories, for example, it could be summoning, or what I am about to try do, modify or alter already existing creatures. It would be a pain, if I had to try creating something, without even knowing how.'
'Hmm do I need to dominate the creature or not, well it does not really matter, as in most other cases, if you put mana into creatures they just go under your control... so.. lets just.. inject mana into the spider.'
With my mind made I begin dragging mana out of my core, toward the spider.
- 1 Mana
The spider, startled, skitters up the rock wall of my cave, getting halfway up, before the mana hits it. The spider, freezes in place and falls, sustaining no damage, when hitting the floor on it's back.
'Ugh, spiders always made my skin crawl when, they would go up walls, I sure am glad I did not lose that... sigh.'
'Back to reality, it was annoying to catch, I nearly missed it, but I caught it in the end. I got a bit worried when it fell though. Looking at the spider I want to say, it looks like I paralyzed it. I need to make sure.'
"Get up." ...
"Move."
"Go there." I mentaly point at a random spot, away from the spider.
'Guess it didn't work, how I wanted it to, as something clearly happened to make the spider freeze up.'
'Maybe I should have used dominate intent first, afterall, maybe it is undergoing evolution because, I essentially just gave it mana. So it fell becuase it stoped functioning to evolve, like a coma of sorts, sadly there is no quick way to verfy this.'
'There are pleanty other spiders and bugs I can use as test subjects, So lets continue, this time lets use dominate intent, instead of no intent like I did previously.'
...
- 1 Mana
'So this spider also tried to climb up and away, Maybe spiders feel safer going up walls or something? Anyways this time I used dominate intent, and the spider, well.. fell, like last time, BUT the spider got back up on its own, so it is not paralyzed this time.'
"Get u.." 'It is already up, What are you talking about.'
"Spin." The spider spins round in a circle.

'It worked... I did not think that would work, I thought I would have to go and rewrite it's brain or put a mark on its soul or something.. Lets not get too exited yet. Sure being able to control spiders, and probobally any other bug, maybe animals aswell, is awesome, but it would still be even better, if I can modify creatures, just imagine, a spider with its chitin as tough as a tank, webs stronger than any rope, just imagining it is giving me goosebumps... metaphorically. I am definetly not distracting myself becuase otherwise, I mentaly look like a crazy man, in a cave, shouting huzaa and yess, while dancing. Definetly not.'
'Ok stop with the self roasting, and get back on point. Next test: enhancement, no, lets go with, evolution. We know I cannot just put mana in without guiding it, or in other words using intention, as the spider I did that to, is still on its back, paralyzed... I.. Should put it out of its misery, if it is in mysery and not evolving like I thought earlier.'
"Kill that spider." again, my great mental point finger.
The spider turned, walked up to the spider, and proceeded to bite it repeatedly all over, I imagine it bled out instead of actually dying to the bites. Did you know spiders bleed out very slowly, compared to humans. I didn't even know, the could bleed out.'
Level system Unlocked
+0.5 Exp
'Oh, there you are, I was wondering where you might have been, I was worried, for a second that there was no level system. Speaking of, how much exp do I need to level up?'
Name: Unbound Architect Race: Dungeon Core Level: 1 - (0.5/10) Health: 100/100 Mana: 8/10 (+1 per min )
'So I need 9.5 more to level up. Considering I get 0.5 per spider that would only take... 19 more! not too bad if I may say... Right back on topic. Evolution how do I do well lets just use intent to hake the spider's.... eyes change colour.. to red! seems safe, except, the spider might go blind, but that is a risk I am willing to take.'
I pull mana from my core, mixing my intent into it, I send it toward the spider minion (yes that is what I will call it, I know it is basic, but who cares, I am the only one here hehehe)
- 1 Mana
Mana shoots into the spider, it's eyes begin to shine, changing from black to ruby red.
'Now to test if it can see...'
"Turn towards me." The spider turns to face me.
'YES, Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, it worked so it can still see, Yes. Ok, ok, it seems a bit insufficient, if I only have one spider under my control, when I want to make a dungeon so... Lets convert the all!! HAhAhAhaHAHA...'
I then proceed to convert 7 more spiders
Warning Insufficient mana !!
'What, I was sooo close I only need 27 more!... Fine I guess I will wait, actually, I do need to level up, it would give me more mana to work with, I hope.'
"Everyone! group up in pairs, kill the rest of the spiders in this cave, not under my control."
'Well I will use this to see how they handle complex orders. I added that last bit because I had a weird foresight, where my spiders started attacking each other. I added the part about pairs as these spiders are a solitary species it seems, I do not see any of them together, except for the ones under my control of course.'
'Looks like they all got in pairs, and have started skittering in every direction, toward a different spider each. Hehehehe, HAHAHAHAHAHA, GO, GO, GO, MY SPIDER ARMY, HAHAHAHA.'
