Chapter 16: Fight Fight! Fight! (Part 2)

Alexander was not like everyone else, a man who simply had one goal to prove something so small, so arrogant. But still, he wanted to prove something. Only he thought he could prove it. He wanted to be the strongest while remaining human.

Everyone in this world is not truly human. They all slowly lose their humanity, slowly lose what they were or what they truly came from. They might seem human, but they would evolve into something so inhuman-like. That's what it meant to be a Dream Walker, that's what it meant to see and feel the powerful, that's what it meant to the millions of once-humans walking north.

These Dream Walkers slowly shed their skin and slowly became more beast-like.

He would not.

Dream Walkers would grow wings, more arms, horns, and grow more and more beast-like.

He would not. He would remain mortal.

He lied about what pathway he was from. In fact, he was part of no pathway at all. He would not go north, west, east, or south. He would not shed his skin.

He was going to remain mortal and advance as a mortal.

He was going to remain mortal until godhood. So if he was not part of the mythological pathway, if so what?

It's what his soul desired to become: a mortal god, a man who would not walk towards divinity.

The Circle of Gods was a pathway not touched in millions of years. In fact, it's not a pathway to obtain godhood. It was the path for godhood for people already born with such status since birth. And those millions of years ago, the gods would decide who would be the major ones and who would be the lesser ones. They were gods of something. Alexander, on the other hand, would simply be a mortal "god" if he does make it far. But going down this path would put him in the middle of the circle, which would put him in the crosshairs of all 25 gods that were ALS. Millions of years have gone by since anyone has walked this pathway. The question would be: would he survive?

**Alexander: Phantom Forces**

The ground would shake. His energy would be felt across the entire continent.

Usually, a fight between two Dream Walkers would never happen on Earth. And if it did, it would happen in a different plane called the "Dream Plane" where the spectators could watch. But this would not happen. It's why the students were so riled up, since fights don't usually happen on this earthly plane. In fact, it was a law in most countries, including America, but they seemingly didn't care. The teachers were alerted as they could feel something wrong already by the previous clash. But the fight would end shortly afterward.

The rocks and pebbles floated.

**Alexander:** "You wanted to know what's wrong, Elio. Why you couldn't understand and were unable to use your vision power. I'll explain my powers to you right here."

**Elio:** "Do you take me for some fucking dumbass?"

**Alexander:** "Yes, I do."

Elio had a frustrated face. He bit his lip and squeezed his hands so hard it looked like his nails would bleed out.

**Alexander:** "Well, adapt to this."

**Elio:** "Damn you."

**Alexander:** "Looks like that pride of yours hurt."

Alexander continued to have that large smirk on his face.

**Alexander:** "My ability works like I have two ghosts: one is blue and one is red. There are tiny colored dots. Speed is blue, and the red one controls force. The reason you couldn't touch me is because I dropped your speed to zero the second you were about to touch me. Don't worry, my ability has a range of 5 meters for now. The reason you can't see my two ghosts is because they exist in something called the 'Phantom Plane'."

**Alexander:** "Get it yet?"

Alexander would remain in the same position.

**Elio:** "Bleh, bleh, bleh. Just seems like all yap to me."

Elio charged right in.

Elio would do the same thing, but he wasn't hitting him this time. He was simply zooming around him.

Until...

**BAM!**

Elio would finally land a hit on Alexander, using his right leg. It would hit Alexander's right cheek.

Elio finally had adapted.

Alexander's face would finally change to that of surprise.

**Elio:** "Yeah, I wiped that smirk off your fucking face."

**Alexander:** "Wow, well, I did explain my ability to you. I knew you couldn't be that dumb. The way Eros explained you, sounded like you were the reincarnation of Nicolae Ceausescu. Oh well, you forgot one thing."

**Elio:** "?"

Elio had a confused expression on his face, but then he realized.

**Alexander:** "My vision range is 5 meters."

Before he could realize, Alexander clapped his hands.

Alexander was gone.

Alexander had blocked sound energy coming into Elio's ear by using the red phantom (force).

Before Elio could turn his back, Alexander was right behind him.

Alexander clenched his face, added 5x more force into that punch, and punched Elio right from behind.

**BAAAAAAM!**

Elio had been sent 100s of meters away through trees and mountains, and Elio had stopped under a large mountain. On impact, an explosion happened.

The dust cleared, and Elio stood up limping with bruises on him.

**Elio:** "Da-"

Before Elio could say the word...

The floating rocks that had no force towards them, no gravity, Alexander put 10x the force into the singular rock and shot it just like how you would flip a coin.

**ZOOM BANG**

It would pierce the side of Elio, knocking him down, going through multiple mountains and terrains.

**Elio:** "Cough, cough..."

Elio would start coughing out blood.

Elio would be laid out on the floor.

**Elio:** "Ah, man."

Alexander would be standing tall above him.

Alexander would put his hands out, and Elio would reach it and get up.

**Alexander:** "Ggs."

**Elio:** "Ggs."
