“Damn!” he thought to himself “what a mess!” they knew the church better than him. Plus one of its legs was broken he had to rally on traps and its wit if he wanted to survive. He had two fog grenade, one blast grenade and a land mine. A physical fight was out of the question. Marcus had to die. Lucy may live but Marcus had to die. He heard the sound of footsteps. It was Lucy, his torch made her easily spottable in the night. Pxan placed the land mine behind him, hoping that the girl would listen more to his rage than reason.
As soon as she saw him he charged blindly with the mace. Pxan managed to dodge the first swing by a hair edge. The second hit him like a truck. Lucy made a short dash toward him, Pxan jumped on the side. The mine exploded. Lucy left leg went flying. The lower part of its body was now a fleshy mess of things. Pxan moved quickly, soon Marcus would come and he would have been mad, very mad for what happened to his daughter.
The sound of a man running came closer, he cried, he screamed, he held the rifle in his hands. One wrong move and Pxan was death.
