As the on-campus taxi drove towards the dorm area, she looked around the college environment. But she get to see much because after fifteen minutes, they had reached the dorm area. The taxi pulled up in front of one of the buildings, she asked the driver how much the fare was which he told her before she paid. She alighted the taxi and went to the trunk to get her luggage out of the trunk. But that wasn't easy because it was heavy. It made her wish that the driver would help her like the other taxi driver did. After getting her luggage out of the trunk, she closed the trunk and the taxi sped off almost immediately after. The dorm area consisted of a total six four-storey buildings with a parking lot in front of them and big trash bins beside each building. Each building had a small sign post that said the number of the building. Reign looked for the one that was written building three on it. When she found it, she carried her luggage and headed into the building. The reception area of the building was very busy with people also finding their way to their room with their luggage. She saw a woman that looked like she was in her early fifties at the reception desk. She was seated on her chair reading a book. She looked very unapproachable with an expressionless face. She wore her black hair in a bun and rectangular glasses that perched on the bridge of her nose. She went to the desk. "Good afternoon ma'am", greeted Reign. "Mmhmm, how can I help you?", she said without looking up from her book. "Umm, I would like to know which floor room 204 is, please ". It was then she looked away from her book and looked at Reign from the top of her glasses. She then put her book down. "Key card, please?", she said. Reign handed her the key card that was given to her. She took the key, turned the back of it and read what was written there before giving it back to her. She pointed towards an open book on her table. "Look for room 204, write your name and sign ", she instructed before typing into her computer. Reign did as she was told. After inputting her name into the system, she picked up her book. "Head for the fourth floor " she said before turning her attention back to her book. " Thanks ma'am "" Read the name plate", the woman said without looking up from her book. "Oh", Reign before looking at the name plate, "Thanks, Mrs. Gladys ". She didn't respond which Reign took as her cue to leave and head to her room.

She took the elevator to the fourth floor and made her way to her room. Each room is a common room that usually has four individual bedrooms and one master bathroom. The common room features a kitchen area that has essential appliances including a fridge, a blender etc, an island and stools, a living room area with plush couches, chairs, a centre table an AC, cool light bulbs and a flat screen TV. The common room also has windows, cool artworks hanging on the wall and a vase. When she reached her room, she placed her key card on the reader and it gave a soft beep, her cue to enter. She held the handle and pushed the door open. Two faces turned towards her. "Umm, hi, I'm Reign, this is supposed to be my room ". One of them smiled at her while the other didn't but had a warm welcoming expression on her face. "Sure, come in ", the one who had the warm welcoming facial expression said. She had fair skin with sun kissed hair that had blue highlights. She was holding a vacuum cleaner which meant that she was cleaning. The other girl that smiled at her came towards her and said, " Let me help you with your luggage " Sure , thanks ". She carried one of two of Reign's bags into the room while Reign dragged her two suitcases into the room. She closed the door behind as she entered the room. After dropping the bags on the floor, she said, "Hi, I'm Ari. Ari Baek". "No wonder she looked Korean", Reign thought. "I'm Skye, looks like we're complete, welcome.", the other girl said. "Thanks for the warm welcome ", Reign said. At that moment, another girl was coming out of one of the rooms, "Hey guys, has our roommate arrived?... Reign?" "Roxie?", Reign said surprisingly. " This is is your room too?", she asked. "Yeah, it is." Roxie replied smiling and equally surprised. Skye and Ari were both confused as to what was happening as they were looking at Roxie and then at Reign. "Do you two know each other?", Ari finally asked. "No", Reign answered. Roxie continued,"we just met each other at the administrations building. " "More like collided ", said Reign and they both laughed. She noticed the confusion on their faces and said, " I almost collided with her as I was entering the building as I was taking in the magnificence of the building " "Oooh, I get it", said Ari. Skye shrugged, "Hm, it is a pretty cool building " "Told Ya",Roxie said. Reign laughed before saying,"Well, I gotta unpack. Which one's my room?" "The second room from the left, that's the only room left ", replied Skye. "Thanks", said Reign said before a comfortable silence ensued. Skye walked towards the trash can to empty the vacuum, Roxie entered the kitchen area to clean the island while Ari arranged the couch. As Reign began to walk towards her room with her luggage, there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it ", she said as dropped her luggage and went to open the door. When she opened it, she was met with a smile by a girl with blonde who had a bubbly expression. "Hi, I'm looking for Skye, I think I saw walk in here a while ago, is this her room? ", she asked. "Uh, yeah, hold on." She glanced back, "Hey, Skye " "yeah?" "She wants to see you ", Reign said. Skye walked towards the door while Reign went back in. When Skye saw who it was, she was surprised, "Izzy?". "Skye!!!", Izzy exclaimed elatedly as she saw Skye. Skye was still shocked that she didn't hug her back immediately but when she came to, she hugged her back;well, more like patted her back. When they let go of each other, Izzy spoke first, " I knew that was you when I saw you downstairs and also, when you were entering your room". "Well, come in", Skye said. Izzy entered the room and Skye closed the door behind but it was still left ajar. "Guys, this is Izzy ", Skye introduced. "Izzy, meet my roommates, Ari...""Hi", Ari said with a smile, "...Reign...""Hello", Reign said while smiling too,"...and Roxie..."" Nice to meet you, Izzy", she replied smiling. "So how do you two know each other?", Reign asked. "Well, we went to the same highschool here in Bailey", replied Izzy. "Skye, you're from Bailey?", asked Roxie. "Yeah", she replied. Izzy continued, "I, on the other hand, am from France but I went middle school and high school here, well only freshman year. I had to travel back to France with my parents ". "You guys look like you were close friends in highschool ", Ari said. "Not really, I knew who she was but we didn't really know anything each other, other than the fact that we were in the same homeroom ", Skye said with a straight face, hands inside her pockets. Izzy laughed, then said, "Yeah, that's true but it's still nice to see you " as she clung to her arm."So where is your room?" asked Skye and Izzy replied, "Right next door, room 205", "Cool" Skye replied. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Izzy but I really gotta go clean up my room unpack ", Reign said. "Sure, go ahead, Reign ". Reign carried her luggage to her to her room and she took the vacuum cleaner with her.

When she entered her room, she began to clean. She dusted the chairs, the table, the vanity, the wardrobe, etc. After that, she vacuumed and mopped the floor. After that, she unpacked her clothes, shoes, handbags, purses, hats etc and arranged them into the wardrobe. She then took out her bedsheets and pillowcases and made her bed. She put her jewelry into one part of the vanity, and arranged her makeup and skincare products on another part of the vanity. When she finished unpacking, she put the empty bags and suitcases on top of the wardrobe. After all that, she stood up and began to admire her work when a white and brown puppy barged into her room barking and skipping around joyfully. She tried to catch it but it eluded. The dog jumped onto her bed, Reign jumped onto the bed to catch the dog. When she finally caught the dog, she sat on her bed laughing while the dog panted. " What are you doing here little guy?" she said to the dog while patting his head. Someone then knocked on her door and poked her head in,"Hi, sorry, I didn't know when he ran out of my room". "Oh, no worries ",Reign said before she stood up from her bed, walked towards her door, met the girl and they walked out of her room. Reign handed the dog to her. Ari then saw the puppy. "Oh my gosh, he is so cute, what's his name?", she asked as she petted the puppy. The girl answered, "Yippee" "Yippee", Ari repeated, " such a befitting name for an energy filled dog " . "Girls, meet my roommate Brynn ", Izzy said. "Hi, sorry for my dog's intrusion, your door was left ajar", she said . "No worries, no harm done. Besides, I agree with Ari, he is cute ", said Roxie. "I agree with Roxie but you do know that pets aren't allowed in the dorms. If you're caught, you'll be suspended.", Skye said. " I know but I didn't bring him here on purpose. I think he escaped my family and got into my backpack at the airport. Please don't tell.", Brynn pleaded. Izzy then spoke," Of course we won't but just be careful." " Thank you all so much ", Brynn said. "Well, looks like we're done cleaning and unpacking, are you all done in your room, Brynn?", Reign asked. "Yeah, I think so, our roommate is finishing up in her bedroom, why do you ask?" said Brynn. "I was hoping we could eat lunch together ", Reign said. "That's not a bad idea but there's a problem", Roxie said. " What is it?",Reign inquired. " There are no plates and cutlery." replied Roxie. "Not even a single one " , Reign asked. "Nope, no plates, no spoons, no knives, no pots, no utensils, nothing plus the fridge is very much empty ", Roxie reiterated. "It's the same for us as well ", said a voice from the door. The girls turned towards the door to see who it was. " Jun, are you done?" asked Brynn to which she replied, " Yeah, I am ". Brynn then turned to the girls, " the last of our roommates, Jun". Jun waved as she said hi and the girls welcomed her. Then Izzy said, " So both our shelves, cupboards and fridges are empty. Looks like we have to go to the mall and get other essentials while we're at it " " Good idea " Ari said, " should we all go? We would have to take a taxi ", she finished. Izzy replied," I would offer for us to use my car but it's not going to fit all seven of us." "Then, let's use my SUV ", Skye said. "Really?", Ari asked. "Yeah, sure, I don't mind " , she replied. " Thanks Skye ", Reign said before turning to the rest of the group, " okay girls, let's get ready and be in front of the building in five, alright?""Okay ", they chorused before going to get ready to leave for the mall.
