The next morning Exoplydia stood in the palace, sitting on a chair and devouring another heart of an enemy, laughing as she thought about their amusing face of dread.
Lumina walked by, rolling her eyes. “At least give Azevil some of that corpse so he doesn’t pay for more fertilizer.” Exoplydia rolled her eyes. “I think Watermelon can live another day without fertilized plants. Plus, he could just ask for some. Not like they won’t give it to him. He’s the third ruler.” She said,
“At least he’s humble and will force them to pay anyway,” Lumina said, then rolled her eyes again. “Fine.” She walked off.
Exoplydia walked around the kingdom and throughout the villages. It was boring. A bit too boring.
A scrawny dragon leaped at her, handing her a note. “Ma’am,” he said loudly, bowing. Exoplydia turned, confused. She grabbed the note from his talons and into her gloves. The note contrasted with all of her clothing, looking paler than it was since she wore all black, including a black coat and black gloves. “What’s this?” She asked.
“A letter from a Skullrider.” He replied. Exoplydia opened the letter and began reading.

Dear Exoplydia,
We have the Vextrus Portallion. In case you do not remember, the Vextrus Portallion is an object that forms a portal to the islands of the Vextras. Different Portallions exist, including the Prenozins Portallion and other such. If you wish to retrieve it, send Nuvi, Kavino, and Phoenix. If you do not wish to retrieve it, we will track the Skintear Hawks to your kingdom of Kalika.
— Sincerely, a Skullrider arena guard.
“Yeah, yeah, like I don’t remember that thing can cause mass genocide because of a species of hawks.” Exoplydia stared down at the letter and crumbled it in her hands, tearing it apart and stomping on it as she threw it to the ground. She stared down at the tiny shreds as her triangular boots stood atop them.
“Uhm . . .” started the scrawny dragon. “It was given to me by Nuvi, who received the letter.”
“Blackmail,” Growled Exoplydia. “I’ll just send Nuvi and a few or whatever. If they can’t handle it, I’ll have to do it.”
Exoplydia flew off, sniffing the air. They bolted down toward Nuvi.
She stared at Exoplydia, smiling. “Nuvi,” Exoplydia began. “You, Kavino, and Phoenix are being sent toward Skullrider territory to retrieve the Vextrus Portallion.” Nuvi stared, confused. “Why?” She asked. “I’m not sure, but if you don’t return within a few days, I’m coming.” Exoplydia replied. Phoenix spoke not a word, staring.
Kavino came along, her orange scales on her back reflecting in the light of the black hole. “Sounds fine
enough.” She said.
