I, Div Zalien, live in a village alongside my fellow dragons. However through avatism I have inherited special abilities unlike other dragons. We, dragons had at one point mixed blood with another species, yet who they were has been lost in time. Due to this mixed blood the purity of the dragon species has slowly been declining bringing increasingly decreasing power. I am different since I have inherited the abilities of the pure-blooded ancestors, I, myself am a pure-blooded dragon. Due to this I have been isolated in the village. Everyone avoids me as if they could get cursed just from touching me. Although there are a few dragons who have been best friends with me since we were children and continue to hang around me despite the harsh discrimination. They are Kais and Estell.

            Recently, however I've started to wonder about the world outside the village. How big is it? How many people are there? How many species are there? What types of magic have people developed? What types of monsters exist? How does civilization outside of this village work? I think to myself. Lately I've been thinking of leaving the village to see the world. It seems so exciting that I can get giddy just thinking of it. I chuckle to myself. Since I've been getting prepared to leave it seems like I'll have to say bye to my friends but hopefully I will meet them again in the future as well as make more friends outside. Oh, but I don't want too many. People like Kais are draining.
