"Div, come out!"
I can hear Kais shout from outside my house waking me up from my slumber.
"Ughhh, Kais just let me sleep for a few more hou... minutes," I groaned.
"Div just get up! I'll burn your house down if you don't!" he bellows.
Can't you just wait. Well, whatever. I get changed and go outside to meet him. When I go outside I can see a fireball in his palm.
"Kais... You weren't serious about that right... right?"
I ask with a nervous smile, cold sweat running down my back. No of course he wouldn't... would he?
"Don't worry about that now that you're out I don't have to anymore," Kais proclaimed in a proud tone.
Kais and I talked for a bit before heading to the village. I live a little distance away from the village to not feel the scorn that the rest put upon me. When we get to town we head up to meet with Estell. She has a small house where she has lived alone since her parents died. Estell's purple hair and Kais’s red hair are quite a bit more colorful than the silver hair that I have.
"Hello you two," Estell speaks.

"Good morning Estell," I answer back.
"Heya how you doing Estell!" Kais hollers.
"Well apart from your screaming giving me a headache, fine," she responds tiredly.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you something important before," I proclaim.
"What is it," Estell asks inquisitively.
"Well, I'm leaving the village," I answer indifferently.
"d-did I hear you right... I could've sworn you just said you were leaving the village," Estell asks not understanding what I said.
"No you did not, I want to see the world and that wont be done just by staying here where I can't even go to the village without feeling the others stares of contempt,"
"Well Div, have fun going out," Kais laughed.
"Kais are you sure you understood him correctly. He just said he was leaving to see the world,"
"I do know that but then won't he have a better chance to have fun and be happy in a place different from here,"
"I suppose that is true. Then Div when are you leaving?" Estell inquires.
"Today."
"W-Wait today isn't that too soon," Estell asks frantically.
"I've been preparing to leave today I just kept forgetting to tell you," I muttered.
"In that case, see ya later Div!"
I say my goodbyes and leave them. Going to an open area in the surrounding forest to transform into my dragon form from my humanoid form. I stand 40 feet long, 10 feet tall, shining, almost metallic black scales adorned my body. My eyes in a luminescent silver. Claws looking as if they were made of glistening silver. As I leave I think about all the things I will now be able to see freely, instead of reading about them in a book.
"I wonder what I'll see first!" I giddily murmured to myself.
