Chapter 27

Time waits for no one as hundreds if not thousands die daily while new one begin in return. The saplings grow into a mighty tree before being cut short or withering away to age. The small creeks either dry away or turn into raging rivers. Thousands search for immortality and millions never find it.

For those who live on Yulan plane all strives to become Saints so they can gain an infinite lifespan. However, as they grow older or lack of money, detacations, or willpower those dreams fade away. Thus leaving select few to reach the legendary rank every couple hundred years.

For a small group of five, those dreams of many were within reach as the rank was growing closer. To those that see their ranks they are considered monster due to their talents and pace at soaring through the ranks. However to those that can’t think them figures it’s a treasure hiding their progress as it average, due to rumors from the beginning.

At the front and unknowingly the public leader of the group, Zaraf the only male with a long black mohawk. With a rank seven magus and peak rank six warrior, due to a year passing since coming back from the magical beast mountain. Due to effort and the formation of seventy rank six core, him and his group progressed even quicker than estimated.

He has grown into a lean muscle tone ten year old with red and green eyes. With his training drive and motivation he pushed himself to new heights. He was followed by Lily, as his training spirit was contagious.

Lily, progressed only being a tad behind him as she reached peak of rank six as both magus and warrior. She has estimated that she should break breakthrough any day as a Magus and feels a while as a warrior. Her goal is to become a rank seven warrior without using a Ki method to boost her speed. So, her and Zaraf began training extra hard as they felt it was a worthy challenge.

As for Towa and Delia, they progressed reaching the peak of rank six of the magus path and fifth rank as a warrior. Even if they don’t receive much of a benefit as training as a warrior anymore it became a habit. So they train as a warrior whenever they become frustrated or some boy attempted to flirt with them.

Even once in a while boys will come and attempted to woo them promising treasures, luxury, and gold. Though they always asked them to stop training as they want to be stronger than them to protect them. This usually end with them stomping the male into the ground and complains about being a trophy.

Finally for Lyana, she has reached the border of mid rank six magus and peak rank five warrior. With the help of drops of blood she stored away secretly in her space ring and the formation and training efforts. She is catching up to them in strength, yet hasn’t won a sparring match against Zaraf, Lily, or Towa. This is due to their experience in fighting those that move faster, hit harder, and more destructive than a saint or higher being.

“Zaraf, when shall we registry for the graduation exams.” Lily asked as she was getting her patients worn thin as lack of danger, fights within the institute.

“I say, about a week, as the formation is almost out of juice and it be a waste since we spent time collecting the cores.” He replied looking over the formation and seeing the cores mostly depleted.

Nodding, as a smile blossomed on his lips, the other girls just shrugged. They naturally didn’t have the Saiyan drive for battle, but he could see they were excited alongside her. He also began to notice that each of the girls are growing into beautiful women. Well, he knew Lily and Towa are going to be, and Delia starting to mature faster.

“Still don't know why we don’t just take it or build a new one later.” Lyana asked drinking an unknown beast blood from a wine glass.

The Dragonball trio was beginning to wonder if she trying to mimic vampire nobles or purebloods. They attempted to research if there are vampires in the world, but their search turned up negative. The only thing that came close was the Vamp Bat which they already she part of.

“It isn’t recommended to move a formation expressially if it at the end of it life. It might just waste the last bit, exploded, or not worth the effort. Besides, we need to attempt to get rank seven cores now.” Zaraf explained not really caring about the last of the formation, but one of the girls might breakthrough.

So, since Lily and the others are soon or near to breakthrough, being at the peak, he rather wait until than. As it easier to breakthrough in a calm environment than a violent or unsafe one.

Figuring that it if it doesn’t happen in a week, than it will happen when they find their next spot the train. It would also do some good as he gets chills down his spine every time he leaves the girls at night. It started when they returned and only grown more in the recent months as if they are getting nervous.

As far as he figures, some organization is keeping tabs on them and worried about how they are growing so fast. He noticed the watching increase and more noticeable everytime he progresses or one of the girls. However, when he attempted to asked a staff or older student none of them are aware of it.

“Well, whatever it only a week and I still have a bit of blood before it needs to be replenished.” Lyana said as she began radiating her pride and arrogance at having a training multiplier that can move.

Shaking his head, he decided to create a statue of a vampire with all the arrogance and pride of one. Well, what he imagines one will have as he hasn’t met one yet. He already decided to call it ‘Bloodwork’ as for some reason the name stuck.

“No time to waste as we should put nearly nonstop effort into training.” Lily said getting pumped.

Pulling the largest rock he could find, Zaraf looked over a twenty five tall boulder and mentally preparing himself. Studying the rock and looking at the faults in it, he began pouring the feeling of Pride, Arrogance, Ruthlessness, and Ageless. With each chunk or detailed place the feelings grew faster.

A few hours went by as the girls finished up their daily training. Watching as Zaraf was wholeheartedly focused on the task and didn’t show any sign of stopping. For hours they watched before, Lyana, Delia and Towa left to grab food. Lily stayed to show her moral support even if he didn’t know she there.

The sun began to set marking that he has been at work for seven hours without rest once. The trio of girls decided to return to the dorm. They decided to take shifts in guarding him until he snaps back to reality. Though they can feel his mage force increasing every moment which is why they don’t interrupted him.

“Another one for the collecting.” Lily smiled as she loves adding to his master pieces. From the very first one of them with Master Pheon and Azure. Than every one that popped up once in a while.

Time flowed as hours turned into a few days. On the fifth day, when the sun hit its peak, Zaraf paused in front of the statue and dropped his chisel. In front of him was a man sitting on a throne filled Pride, Arrogance, Ruthlessness and a tad of agelessness.

“It is down, but Bloodwork doesn’t really fit. I shall call it ‘Monarch of the Brave’.” He said as the statue seems to come to life with it.

“Good, now eat mister,” Lily snapped as she appeared in front of him with a basket.

“Growl~”

“I think my stomach agrees with you.” He said taking the basket and sitting on the ground.

“So, any plans on what to do with this one? Can I add it to our collections?” Lily asked excited as she walked around it.

“Go for it,” He said swallowing the first of many sandwiches.

Clapping as she was excited she couldn’t wait until Towa, Delia, and Lyana see it before she stores it away. She needs to figure where to display the collection again as they are constantly on the move again. Than she began thinking that Zaraf wants to create his own Universe, which is why they traveled to this universe.

“Maybe, I can display it in our home when he can finally make one.” Lily mumbled as she wondered as they could literally make it however they wanted and change it. The surrounding could be reconstructed or change on a whim. Liking the thought more she decided to hold off on it as it would take a while to get there and countless dangers and waiting.

Just looking at her as she mumbled to herself, Zaraf focused more on eating than listening to her. It probably has to do with their future house, and it layout, which he doesn’t really mind. As long as she is happy with the arrangement, he won’t complain. He learned to allow her to do her own thing within reason.

After an hour went by, the rest of the girls appeared and were surprised to see him done. Than they passed a couple gold coins between themselves and Lily as she collected ten coins. It seems that they had a small bet going to see when he would finish. Shrugging as they bet among themselves all the time he didn’t mind.

“Have you finished?” Towa asked looking it over.

“It beyond what you done before.” Delia commented.

“Impressive,” Lyana grunted as she seems to not want to praise him too much.

“Yeah, now I think I am going to call it a day and go sleep.” Zaraf said as he fist bumped everyone before leaving them.

Arriving back at the dorms he found a note saying that Dixie left for a few days to go train with his Master. There was also a private message to say he be back for their early graduation. It seems that the word spread so it didn’t surprise him much.

Laying on his bed, he was instantly out like a light and happily dreaming.

At the top of the Radiate Church tower the old man grinned as his chance soon appeared. All five are preparing to leave the Institute which would present them to grab them. He might get lucky and they would join their cul- organization.

“Soon, I will have them.” He mumbled staring out the window, making his assistant wonder if he ever moves.

In the O'Brien Empire, the Demi-god known as War God, was calmly sitting at the base of the inside of a Volcano. The rumor of raising geniuses in the Ernst Institute interest him and debates with himself. Should he or not send an invitation to his kingdom. After a long period of time, he decided to send a messenger to invite them for a chat.

A few days passed, and the exams for Zaraf, Lily, Delia, Towa, and Lyana arrived. Gathering in the school arena, the five stood off to the side as the higher ups stood on the other side. In their hands we clipboards with grading sheets ready to begin.

“Delia Leon, you begin.” The headmaster of the school said as Zaraf felt he seen him somewhere. Unable to remember he decided to mental shrug it away as it didn’t matter to him. If he can’t recall the man it must not be important.

Walking to the center of the ring, Delia silently cast some air blades, before floating off the ground. Due to it being a rank six spell, she received a nod as they check off something on their board.

“Lily,” They called.

“I got this.” Lily confidently said as she stepped forward.

Soaring through her test, she began shooting off and playing with wind magic never seen or known before. It was simple as they didn’t exist before and she made them based off their attacks in Dragonball universe. So her magic began gaining forms of a phoenix or dragon, which surprised everyone.

It took the staff and all the students watching a moment to regain their senses from the sight.

“Lyana,”

“Be prepared to be amazed by this Queen.” Lyana walked forward in a confident manner.

She began to do a fire dance as which drew everyone's attention even if they were passing by. However, going through every male mind over thirteen ‘Wish she was older,’ as her dance was unique. Finishing up her dance a large fire tornado appeared above her as she roared towards the sky.

Nodding as they dumbly marked the checklist, the Staff started growing numb to the five present. They knew they were genius and talented but this was too much for them.

“Towa,”

“Let turn up the heat.” Towa said bring out her staff. With some tweaking it and few small changes she got it to working in this universe.

Fire rained down as if someone cast on of the forbidden spell which they needed to be of the saint rank. Only it was on a smaller scale and white flames as the heat was turned up the heat. The surrounding grass died and burnt away and everyone was sweating from the heat over ten feet away.

When she finished one of the test examiners snapped his board and walked away. He was shouting that it was not possible or must be a trick.

“Finally, Zaraf.”

“What to do?” Zaraf wondered how he can match the girls performance before it hit him.

Summoning the ground he moulded it into a large dragon and allowed it to let out a loud roar. He supplied the roar with his mage force which was slightly tiring and had the dragon moving around. When he finished he noticed mostly everyone left except one staff member shaking like a leaf in a heavy storm.

“So, do we pass?” Zaraf innocently asked before the man passed out.

“Well that was overdramatic.” He grumbled as the dragon fell apart and merged back into the ground. “It basically a golem in the shape of a dragon.”

“We should get the message tomorrow after everything has been sorted.” Delia said slightly worried as she didn’t go overboard for her test.

“What should we do now?” Lily asked as everyone shrug.

They soon decided to leave and go shopping and eating out. Thoughts of training skipped their mind as it was an exam and thought it would take longer. So, they didn’t really plan on what to train for the day.

By the next morning, they were sent a message to meet back at the arena for the rewards and medals. There was also a private messaged that apologized for the staff and not getting the medal yesterday.

“Well, it is time to begin our next adventure in the world.” Zaraf said as he felt excited.
