Monsters and sentients are different for a variety of reasons. First of all is subspecies, monsters only have classes related to a subspecies. An example is a Greater Bog Wyrm, nasty little things those. Those wyrms who get such a subspecies or 'Race Class' as the young ones call it now, should be killed on sight considering their abilities. But monsters all have a distinct trait in common with each other, they don't get Job Classes. Classes that relate to categories like Bards and Knights. Imagine a Wyrm Knight of all things bearing down on you, that useless Steady Charge Skill would come in quite handy.
-A Treatise on the Difference Between Monsters & Sentients
Our tiny wyrm quickly accepted the notification without a second thought.
This was due to a variety of reasons.
First off, from the system notifications it had gotten, it had managed to piss off or scare off half the cavern, truly something incredibly easy for a superior being like it. But, like the system had said, it had enraged a good few lads and ladies with big teeth and bigger ego's.
So really, it attempting to prepare for the inevitable final conflict was a must. And it had gotten a particularly useful skill from its last class.
The only thing the wyrm was really confused about was the numbers, where were they going?
Was there a menu or something that held all the answers?

Huh, that was neat.
However, before the wyrm could react to its new menu. Or as sentients called it, a status. The Bog Wyrm that had currently been trying to kill this little wyrm's emerald wyrm, the wyrm it had pleasently enraged through a single horrendous note.
The wyrm that was called a greater bog wyrm.
It leapt towards our little hero in a instant. Its large teeth shooting forward and tearing into the ground where our little hero had just been.
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
A speed of seventeen wasn't anything to laugh at.
Especially when compared to a speed of four for the bog wyrm.
Our hero slithered around the bog wyrm in an instant, scooting and slithering around as it dodged the bog wyrms repeated attempts to turn it into a small piece of meat staining its teeth or the floor.
The other wyrms around the area were still frozen in fear. For a single second an eldritch note that had awakened something primal in them, an eldritch fear of... being spanked? Or something vaguely of the such. That of a being that would drift through and be utterly dissappointed.
At them.
At their actions.
At their appearence.
Our fast boy of a wyrm recieved a pleasent notification.
You Have Gained the Spell: Fear of Eldritch Parental Abandonment!
Spell List Updating...
It didn't know what a spell was, but getting something helpful would be nice.
And it was convenient that it came with simple instructions.
The tiny wyrm paused its dashing. Laying utterly still as it prepared to cast a magnum opus of magic that would make the elves weep!
And after it would figure out what the elves were!
The bog wyrm shot forth, its teeth shining, showing the half a dozen creatures that had been torn to pieces by it before. Chunks of wyrm scales, the bloody legs of those creatures, and something else it wasn't quite sure of, but was pulsing quite quickly.
It focused its inner power as the spell was instructing it, the wyrm decided a large chunk of power was needed. It said it needed a small amount, but it knew that a pitiful -1 to its MP for some benefits wouldn't compare to a -97.
It was simple math, after all.
With its magical energy gathered, the tiny eldirtch bard let out a single note. Eldritch fear suddenly flooded the entire cavern. The bog wyrm immediately changed course. Shooting straight into the ground and using a true favorite of the wyrm species.
Quick Burrow.
Several other wyrms immediately employeed similar tactics.
Some burrowing themselves deep underground, others created a cacoon of thick silk shield them.
One even encased itself in spontaneous lava. Where had it even gotten that!?
Oh right, spontaneous.
Either way, whatever measure the wyrms had done to protect themselves. It would be no matter. They would not survive.
The tiny wyrm was almost done singing its note, there hadn't even been a sudden hacking and coughing of blood and supposed livers!
Use a Bardic Inspiration?
Sure, why not. Its success was more than guaranteed by this point, why not add some more to sweeten the deal?
At least, thats what Bardic Inspiration did? Right?
Well, it was too late either way. With a suffering crash of sanity it ended its short song, a wave of power exploded from its body and it waited for the notifications that would summarise its victory!

An explosive wave of force sent the tiny wyrm flying and crashing straight into a large corpse of those things that had attacked it.
Its vision was failing, it couldn't feel anything but pain.
But at the same time it could feel EVERYTHING that wasn't that sweet sucor of PAIN.
It wondered what was going on.
Hesitantly, the bog wyrm poked its head out of its hidey hole. Chunks of stone and dirt on its head in small quantities. It had heard a large sonic boom after its completely fake panic attack and totally real tactical retreat.
Its enemy, the one that had stopped it from devouring that sweet succulent piece of overflowing life energy rich meat.
It lay on a random crushed dust spider, only its dried blood, brittle bone, and flabby skin remained from the voracious wyrms.
Its body was all red, covering in a splattering of blood. And a small rise of mystical blue energy hovering right above it.
Strange, maybe it was some kind of sauce?
Wait, what was a sauce?
Nevermind that, this thing had stopped it from eating.
And as such, would be eaten.
The bog wyrm quickly slithered out of its hole and shot towards the weak wyrm instantly. It was only several feet away when it felt a sharp pain in its lower parts.

You Have Been cut in Half!
An explosion of god awful pain flowed through it like never before. Had it had some madness, it maybe would've turned that pain into a feeling some recreational drugs from the dwarven kingdom would induce.
But as is, it simply wasn't crazy enough.
Though that certainly didn't stop it from turning and witnessing its attacker.
