While rubbing the sleep out of his eyes Draven turned the TV off. He had a habit of falling asleep while watching documentaries he had long deemed them to be the most powerful sleep medication on the planet. Draven stretched his limbs while yawning like a lion. "It's Saturday, maybe I should go outside and do something? Draven thought to himself while almost laughing at his joke as he hopped to the computer.
Draven was a hardcore raider for the popular game World of Battlecraft, and he wasn't going to miss out on getting his daily quests done! Gotta farm that rep! As soon as he Logged on countless private messages flooded his chat box, asking him to run this dungeon or that dungeon he ignored them all as he switched to a different chat window that only showed guild or friend messages.
A friend of his sent him a message that he began to ignore but then saw that he had linked a weapon in chat. This wasn't any weapon this was the weapon he had on reserve from the guild for the past month as he waited for it to drop. Draven quickly read what he had to say.
Saltyscrub: Yo I talked to the Raid leader and I told him I'd give him 100k gold if I could have Warblade of Carnage If it drops this week. He said no problemo, so don't be surprised if suddenly my name is above yours on the reserve list.
His right eye started to twitch and he could feel his risk factor for an aneurysm increasing by the second.
Imafk: You forget I know where you live so if that sword is worth the cost of 4 new tires after I slash them, then, by all means, do that.
Draven replied with the full intention of following through with his threat.
Saltyscrub: Woah dude I'm just fucking with you calm down. Damn, would you really slash my tires you know I need my ride to get to work right?
Imafk: That is what makes the threat effective.
Saltyscrub: lol that's fucked up! I'll see you later at raid though, right? And make sure you're on time Raid lead is starting to deduct contribution points to anyone that isn't inside and ready at 7:00 pm he's getting pissed at Lolsbro for being 10 minutes late and then running around asking for food and pots.
Draven was in full agreement he would sometimes just open trade with him and give him whatever he needed just to get the raid started it was getting on his nerves.
Imafk: Good serves that fucker right! He should worry about paying all of us back for all the free shit he's been getting at every raid just so he can attend fully buffed.
Saltyscrub: Damn Right he should! he at least owes me like 20k gold at this point in raw value for all the pots, food, and flasks. We should all make a list and give it to Raid Lead! But anyways I gotta go I'll see you later.
Imafk: Later!
Saltyscrub could be a dickhead, but he was an alright guy. They would hang out sometimes he only lived about an hour away. A couple hours later Draven had finished all his daily quests and farmed some materials to restock his bank to make flasks for the raid. He was about to start looking for a group for his daily dungeon when he heard the sound of someone coming up the stairs. With each footstep becoming louder it was clear his father was coming to his room.
"Ughh" Draven thought to himself, "I got so much to do!" Draven already knew that his Dad was going to get him to come down to eat breakfast and then guilt trip him into doing anything other than getting back on the computer. His father opened the door and walked in.
"c'mon Dad you could at least knock before coming in". Draven said without even turning his head from the monitor. His Dad snorted before replying "Draven you can't wake up and immediately hop on the computer. What kind of life is that? It's not healthy! Just come down and eat some breakfast, afterward, we are going to do some shopping, I'm grilling burgers later."
Draven's eyes lit up when he heard burgers but then became depressed when he remembered hearing something about going shopping. He powered off the computer and took a quick shower. There was no point in arguing as that would in the end, just earn him less time on the computer.
After showering and eating Breakfast Draven got in the car with his Dad. They drove in silence for a few minutes his dad had a frustrated look on his face as he seemed deep in thought. He took a deep breath and then spoke out "Draven you're turning 17 this year I know it's been hard on you since Mom died and I gave you a lot of space but you need to start focusing on the real world again and think about your future.
It's ok to have a hobby and play games hell I like to play some games now and then too, but you need to start focusing on what you want to do with your life. Do you want to go to college? if yes what do you want to study? if not what kind of job do want to do? These are all the questions you need to be asking yourself right now.
That's how his father James was, he means well but he will ask a million questions before Draven has the chance to answer the first. The questions continued until they had reached Wallsmart. Before his Dad opened the door he stopped "I love you bud I just want you to be successful in life, You're smarter than I was at your age just give it some thought." he said as he ruffled Draven's hair.

His hand was large and rough he worked in an office but he did so much work around the house and the backyard you wouldn't believe office work was his career based on the callouses on his hands. "Ok, I'll think about it," Draven said earnestly and with a nod from his Father, they got out of the car. After 40 minutes of walking around the store, and his Dad spending the majority of the time trying to decide what barbeque sauce to buy they finally managed to get everything they needed and make their way to the exit.
WHROOM…. WHROOM… WHROOM. A loud sound could be heard coming from all directions. Dravens Father put his hand on Dravens shoulder as all the items on the shelves of the store started to rock back and forth. Glassware and boxes started falling off the shelves. A rumbling could be felt as the earth shook. "Earthquake!" dravens Dad yelled as he grabbed Draven and pushed him down to the ground covering his head.
"It shouldn't last long just stay still," his father told him. WHROOM. WHROOM. WHROOM The sounds kept pulsating faster and faster until they merged in a high-pitched continuous screech. DRAVEN!! Was the last thing he heard as all went dark.
On a bed of water that seemed never-ending under a star-filled night sky. Three figures appeared. One had a large muscular upper body with nothing but smoke below his torso. The Second figure was so large only the head could be seen but even that was shrouded behind smoke only two Orange eyes with slitted pupils were visible. The third Figure had the shape of a gigantic wolf with glowing thunder bolts embedded into its body. The first Figure broke the silence with a deep thundering voice that said "After so many years a Successor capable of holding my essence has been found. Our Revenge against the Ten'ok is upon us."
The second figure who had a strong authoritative voice chimed in, "We must allow him to progress slowly or our plan will fail before it begins the Ten'ok will destroy him if he is discovered." The Wolf with a deep guttural voice stated.
"This is true, however, if he is too weak he will die before the Ten'ok even has the opportunity to find him. Djinn how many of us can he hold? The wolf asked the first figure. The Djinn crossed his arms in deep thought before he finally spoke. "He can hold all three of us Raiju, his vessel is extremely adaptive, however, I will only give him 2 of our essences, and instead of the third, I will place a guide into his mind. This will allow him to fully understand our abilities, help him survive, and hide him from the Ten'ok. Once he has gained a bit of strength he will be able to accept the third essence."
Only Raiju nodded in agreement. "Honored Dragon have you anything else to add?" Djinn asked. "The Ten'ok keep a watchful eye the first few days. If he proves to be too strong compared to the other humans he will be found regardless of his guide." Dragon replied. Djinn nodded in understanding.
"Djinn can you interfere with his transport and have him begin outside the eyes of the Ten'ok?" Raiju asked. Djinn smiled at Raiju, "That is indeed possible I will place a spell on his body that will teleport him to a random location within a 50-kilometer radius. Even if he manages to travel to the village in a straight path enough time will have passed for a large difference in strength to be plausible." Djinn replied. "That is full of risk but seems to be the only option," Dragon said.
"To ensure his safety Dragon and I will be active first, you will come later," Djinn said pointing to Raiju. "I will gift him the Djinn's mystic arts our mana reserves and long-forgotten knowledge," Djinn vowed. "I will give him the purest of bloodlines and the body of The Ancient Dragon strong enough to withstand or unleash any attack," Dragon vowed. "When I am included in the fold I will gift him the blessing of lightning and the speed to chase any prey or escape any predator so he may hunt another day," Raiju vowed.
"The vows have been recorded and accepted, I have seen into the child's Mind and have used the last of our power to construct a visual interface he is familiar with to act as his guide. communication will no longer be possible after the seal has been released." Djinn announced. Commencing seal release in 3, 2, 1…
Draven felt a nudge on his arm. "Dad just let me sleep a bit longer." He said waving his arm. "OINK!" Oink? Draven opened his eyes and was greeted by the sight of a small boar. "What the FUCK!" Draven jumped to his feet startling the baby boar as it ran away. Draven hastily looked in all directions taking in his surroundings. He was in the middle of a forest everywhere he looked he saw nothing but trees. Draven wracked his brain "What am I doing in the forest?" He thought as he focused on his memories.
"I was in Wallsmart with Dad and then there was an earthquake… DAD!" Draven started looking around everywhere "DAD can you hear me? I'm over here it's Draven!!" He yelled as loud as he could but he received no answer. "Shit!" Draven thought to himself "I'm in the middle of the woods by myself." "I guess I'm finally doing something outside," he said nervously laughing at his joke.
He raised his hand and ran it through his hair it felt oddly thick and was much longer than what he was used to. He finally took a moment to look at himself and immediately noticed his arm was a very dark purple color nearly black with patches or patterns of deep red that looked like scales. He tore his shirt off as fast as he could as he inspected the rest of his body and sure enough, his whole body was the same purple with red scales.
Draven could feel his mind starting to break he woke up from an earthquake and now he was purple and covered in red scales in the middle of the woods. He was having a severe headache at this point and it was increasingly getting worse he shut his eyes due to the pain and dropped to one knee "Arghh" he groaned. The pain began to subside as he slowly opened his eyes and saw a transparent screen in front of him that read:

Draven rapidly blinked a few times thinking this was some illusion.
"I'm finally going crazy," he thought as no matter how much he blinked that transparent screen was still in front of him he could still see it with his eyes closed. There was no escape. Draven could feel the sweat run down his back. "What does any of this mean, I installed 1 percent of ancient dragon and djinn? Is that why my skin is purple and scaly? Isn't a Djinn some kind of wish-granting genie? Before he could think anymore the screen updated.
