"Welcome" says the little sister as she lights a candle on the altar of the statue of a faceless soldier. Anyone can see themselves reflected in its anonymous bronze surface. "Thank you for coming. It's rare these days to receive attention from people of your looks"
Your looks? She gazes at you with those intriguing eyes.
"University. The way of books instead of weapons. It's sad"
Sad how? She lowers her eyelids slightly and clasps her hands close to the chest.
"To lose the passage to immortality like that. When it is everyone's duty to conclude the war that will end all wars"
You know ancient history. They said the same thing about the first, second, and third world wars. She flashes a half-smile when you tell her about it, holds the parsimony of a saint, you can almost imagine her posing in a period painting.

"Misguided intentions and hollow efforts. They turned a means of testing courage, honor, and strength into a typhoon of barbarism where men drowned in poison gas, and were trapped for days on barbed wire"
Listening to a sister of Belichology being so critical, it unnerves you, as if you were witnessing a tiger enjoying a lettuce. But of course, the punch line soon follows.
"There is a reason why this is the only war that is divine. Our movement helped to bring honor back to the field, and to highlight the importance of strong individuals. Centuries behind us was the dictatorship of the soft man, the one incapable of steering the human ark in the stormy seas of our times"
You ask her name.
"Francesca"
You point out her taste for metaphors. Her half smile turns into a full one.

Say goodbye and catch up with Isaac to go to the university (Scene 11).
