With a snap of her hands, an aura of light engulfed the room, and everyone's vision faded until there were only two left standing, Emilia, and Ensen.
----------------------------------------
[POV: Orana]
After the light filled the room, I fell asleep fast.
In a few minutes, I finally open my eyes, to find a familiar scene.
"Mother, open your eyes! Don't leave me here alone"
'Why does that voice sound familiar?'
Adjusting my vision I look to my left to find a brick house, standing tall on the hill, with nothing else in sight except a carriage.
'Wait, this is my house.'
I quickly run into my house, to find an old woman leaning against the wall with a knife wound going across her chest.
'mom.'
Standing to her right was a man dressed in all black, with a mask covering his face. in his hand was a crimson black knife with red blood glimmering in the light.
"I told you, you can't run away from us. The Duke is not pleased." The masked man says sinisterly.
"I'm never going back! I will not be kept for my genes." Mother said with tears running down her face.
"Oh, really? If you're not going back then, what's the point of keeping you? I have full authority over your life you know. Want to see the letter?" He said as if enjoying it.
"Then kill me! I'm not going back!" She yelled loudly.
"I see, then here you go." He says and lunges at her with his knife.
"NOOOO" I scream out. My hand quickly moves into the knifes directory to block it.
As I'm about to celebrate in success, I see the knife pass through my hand, piercing my other in the heart, killing her instantly.
"Pathetic demihuman." He says, spits on her corpse and then leaves on his carriage.
While I stand there stunned with tears running down my cheeks, I hear muffled cries. Looking to my right I see the old me, hiding in the closet.
That was the last thing I saw before I blacked out from distress.
----------------------------------------
When I woke up I saw a strange floating blue text-box in front of my vision. Reaching my hand forward, I feel a strange resistance when I attempt to put my hand through it. Not minding It Anymore I read what written.

'Whats this? Is this what the goddess was talking about?'
Thinking so, I once again lose consciousness.
----------------------------------------
[POV: Oan]
After being put asleep by the goddess, I quickly woke up to a bustling city, famous in the world due to the trade and production.
'What am I supposed to do here Isn't this supposed to be a test?'
Thinking so, I was walking around, only to see a broken-down carriage blocking the road.
Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.
'Are they trying to test my crafting skills? Just you wait! I'll you show what I can do!'
I think with a cheer, hopping along the road next to the carriage.
"What seems to be the problem, missy?" I say cheerfully, trying to brighten her day.
"What does it look like you stupid dwarf? My wheel is destroyed." She said, disgusted.
'Can I just ignore that? I'm going to ignore that.'
"Mind if I have a look?" I say with a cheer.
"Only if you can fix it. Otherwise, don't bother. I'd rather not have a dwarf touching my stuff."
'I wanna punch her.' I force myself to whisper.
"No problem, I can guarantee I can fix it." I say with a forced smile, then waddled over to the wheel.
'Wow, what a basic problem, I'll just do a quick path though, then they have to replace the parts later'
'Haha, I'm so evil.'
After a few minutes, I stand up and motion the owner to come over.
"I believe it is good enough to get to a shop now." I said, then ran off before she could spout more comments.
'Hmm, what should I do now?'
I begin walking around the trading hub of the city, looking at product.
'Not too bad, but the techniques could use a lot of work.' I think in my head.
I keep walking and gradually see a group of what look to be orphans huddling together. Except one, he was hammering an anvil, making a pair of what looked to be a short dagger. After watching for a little bit I decided to walk up and give him more pointers.
"Is this your first time forging?" I ask curiously.
"Ugh... excuse me? He looks back confused.
"IF this is your first time, you're doing pretty good. But, you need to remember to adjust your grip and hit the iron tighter, you're getting the impurities out, not chipping it." I say sternly, like a teacher.
"O-oh, yes." He says, still confused.
"L-like this?" He says after following my instructions.
"Mostly, but ease up a little on your grip of the hammer. It'll help control the spots where the hammer hits."
And just like that, I spent the next few hours talking the kid, I never asked anything about his family, and it seemed he liked it that way. After the sun began to set I realized that I had to move on, once deciding my next move, I stand up.
"Are you leaving sir?" H asked in a sad voice.
"Yes, I came here for a reason, you see. but before I go I have two things I want to ask you."
"Okay, what are they, sir?"
"Fist of all, I want to know your name." I said seriously.
"Oh, my name. My name is Gotoud. What was the other thing?" The boy asked.
Looking him in the eye seriously, I said: "Do you want to become the best blacksmith in the world?"
For the first time, there was a glimmer of hope in his eye "Seriously, sir? Can I?"
"That depends on you. Being a blacksmith is hard, you can be alone for decades at a time if your trying to reach the top, but once you are at the top, it can be incredible. I can't push you there myself, but I can help you." I said while reaching into my pocket, and pulling out an old book.
"This is my old diary, in it are techniques, first-hand accounts, blueprints, almost everything you need." I said while handing my diary over.
"Are you sure I can take this sir? It sounds incredibly important." He said, looking me in the eye for the first time.
"Whats the point of the elderly, if they don't hand down her experiences?" I say.
"But, you seem barely older than me." He said, confused.
After having a happy laugh, I said "Don't worry about that. Worry about what comes next. I suggest looking to become an apprentice first if you want to have a quick start." I said, smiling happily.
After telling him that, I walk into the distance, never to be seen by that boy again.
----------------------------------------
'Hmm? Whats this?'
Suddenly my vision turns a bright blue, confused I look all around, only to see the town below. It, constantly flickering between light and dark.
'Whats happening?'
Simulation Of People Affected
Due to your actions, a person's fate was drastically changed. After recalculating his path, the universe is running a simulation on how the person affected will end up.
'Oh, interesting.'
Looking down towards the ground, I spot Gotoud outlined in a golden light, after following him for a minute or so, I figure out his daily routine.
'Working out when he gets up, apprenticing at a blacksmith shop during the day and reading my book at night, not bad.'
While being impressed with his work ethic, it quickly cuts into the mountains, where Gotoud has nothing but his blacksmithing tools in his backpack and a book in his hand.
'Is he going into seclusion? He's just like me.'
After being in seclusion for a year he begins selling his products to the world, shocking even the dwarven masters.
"What is this technique? I've never seen anything like it."
He quickly rose to fame, getting various titles, while advancing smithing techniques drastically.
Gradually, he ages and his products begin to become scarcer. Countries in hope to get a product for themselves offer land, money and even power, but in the end, he never took them.
On top of his mountain, there he laid, on his bed with a satisfied smile. On the edge of his last breath, he whispered
"Thank you, sir."
And then the simulation ended, creating a black void with Oan wiping his tears in the middle.
