To David's surprise, it was Fatty that arrived first. He came in quick and low, hitting David in the solar plexus. Doubled over, David found his body frozen, unable to move and unable to breath as Fatty prepared a hammer fist. Before it could land, Princess was there attacking the ankle. Fatty kept his feet, but it was enough to give David time to fall graciously on his face. With his target taken care of, the man looked toward Bill and his mount. Bill was yelling something that David couldn't make out, but he doubted the little guy could take a hit. Reaching out, David grabbed Fatty's free leg and pulled. The only thing it did was catch the large man's attention.
By this time the other two arrived. Bandaged man kept trying to kick everything, protecting both his hands. Skinny guy was worse. While Bandage split his attention between the three targets, for some reason targeting Bill especially, Skinny jumped on David's back. David managed to prevent his new partner from choking him, it did not stop a jab to his kidney. Fortunately, this one did not cause his entire body to freeze. Instead, it convulsed, tossing off Skinny man.
Rolling on his back, David could see his face was about to be stomped in by way to much weight. Just as a the foot came down, it jerked to a halt as a plane of force intersected itself between David's nose and the heel of the book. Not taking the time to see what just happened, David repeated his attack on Fatty. This time, instead of grabbing it, David twisted in the dirt to kick out the knee supporting Fatty's massive bulk. Much to everyone's surprise, not only did it work but it caused Fatty to fall on Bandage. Princess immediately went after Fatty's face, but the man got an arm interposed. As for Bandage, all could be heard were screams about his hands. David heard an impact, and looking back he saw Skinny was once more on his feet and had knocked out the goblin girl. David saw red, and in that moment a memory struck him. A memory from a movie saying to SING. Fatty was stuck, Bandage was out of it, and with Skinny the greatest threat, David jumped to his feet and SING. A quick punch to the solar plexus followed by a stomp on the instep. With the head vulnerable a knee to the nose followed by a foot to the groin and the match would be won. Or at least, that was how David thought it was going to go. The punch was dodged, his foot was stepped on, the head was too far away, and his foot was currently trapped. As David moved his arm to block a jab, all he could think was Sandra Bullock lied to him.
Bandage's scream fell to a moan as Bill yelled at Fatty to get off him. David was honestly surprised that Bill didn't just pop from having the equivalent of a church fall on top of him, but the muffled growls from Princess told David that Fatty was still occupied. Which was little help as Skinny got past his guard and hit him some place sensitive, again. David's head swam. Between the elixirs, the bomb, and now the fight he really needed to take a nap. It was probably because of that he yelled out.
“Hey Bill, what's goblin-pox?” As he made a slow punch towards Skinny. Skinny had enough time to step to the side, look at it, look at David, shrug, and grab the extended arm before David's arm could fully extend. As Skinny made to do something that looked incredibly painful, Bill responded.
“It makes people itchy. Like this.”

It felt as if his world was replaced with burlap. His everything itched. An errant gust of wind made it feel like David rubbed his face with a Brillo pad. It was fortunate, David thought, that he was too tired to scratch anything which made ignoring it a lot easier. The other three men weren't as fortunate. Bandage just groaned, seemingly out of it. Fatty finally got his arm back and used the free limb to scratch his everything. Skinny's eyes went sort of blank there for a moment before he shook himself free. Seeing the state of his companions, he made a decision and released David's arm.
“Truce?” He asked.
David felt his head fall and rise. He blinked a couple of times before repeating the process. David watched as Skinny helped his two injured companions up. With more speed than he thought was possible, the three fled farther down the road. David knew that was probably a bad thing, since he was heading down the road, but that also sounded like a future problem.
“Screw the future. It only happens because of clocks.” David mumbled before looking to his companions.
Princess and Bill were fine. The only damage they seemed to suffer was when Fatty rolled on top of them. The goblin girl was also fine, or fine-ish. She was better than David at in his state that was all that matter. She was getting up as David started to collapse. But before the sweet sweet ground could embrace him, Princess and her rider were there supporting him.
“Just a quick nap.” He told the pair.
“You can nap off to the side.” Said Princess in Bill's voice. David didn't know the dog could do impressions. He wondered if Princess could do him next.
“We can't stay here,” the goblin began. “They'll be back with the rest of their gang. But we're not far from our village.”
David felt his head loll to the side and he decided his mind needed a break. It had been a busy day for him. He considered it all as he was given Princess who seemed to have a broken leg as the goblin girl, who managed to shrink to Bill's size and sat on his shoulder. Bill, now full goblin size, rested another goblin onto a strange dog that came from nowhere. David knew it couldn't be Princess because he was holding Princess, but then maybe the dog could be in two places at once.
That made sense, David thought as he was pulled along by the fully grown Bill who decided to change to a greenish brown color instead of his normal blood.
“Hey Bill, could you always grow in size?” He asked
“Familiars can grown in size, but I haven't.” He heard Princess respond from his shoulder. Which was strange as Princess was currently carrying the injured goblin. “Dai, where do you think I am.”
David blinked rapidly, trying to focus through his muddled mind. “You are riding Princess, who I'm carrying. But she's also walking next to us. She's a very talented dog.”
David heard a conversation take place around him, but it didn't involve his name so he toned it out. Walking was taking enough of his concentration. It was harder because of the extra foot he seemed to had acquired at some point. It didn't want to move like his other two and since it wasn't attached to him it was nearly impossible to control. But he got the hang of it eventually.
David didn't know how long they traveled, but he bet it was at least fifty. It was shortly after that a bunch of Bills came and helped the other two full sized Bills towards some huts. Princess showed her skills by being everywhere, multiple times. It appeared that every Bill had at least one Princess, and there were even more inside the hut they led his to.
David felt himself unloaded of everything as he sort of swayed back and forth. The Bills looked at him with strange faces. One had three eyes, which was one eye too many in his opinion. A gentle pull allowed him to collapse as sweet nothingness tried to take him. He shot up at that, yelling something before allowing sleep to take him.
