Alex woke up from a good night's sleep feeling rested, yet hungry. He flew around to find something to eat and even traveled outside the palace, finding a small village of goblins. As he flew towards them, he didn't even realize that he was able to see far outside his sphere of sight so long as he was actually looking in that direction. There were about 20 goblins in the village. A couple of them were the size of trolls, and others yet were only about twice the size of a Dove. He stopped a few meters from their village to think, and decided to speak with the goblin on a wooden throne.
He flew towards the eldest goblin, who was roughly 1.5 meters tall and tried to say hello.
"Hello, my green friend! I was wondering if you could give me some directions, as I would love to find a nice forest or lake!"
The goblin responded by letting out a harsh yelp and jumping backwards, before he began to whisper in shock. Finally he began to speak,
"What are you? I know of many intelligent monsters, yet few resemble the Angeli of the divine Goblin, Göttlich,".
Alex let out a laugh as he blinked a few times, a tear dripping out of his void in the center of his eye.
"I am an Angeli, a very hemophilic angeli. Do not fear me, as I would gain naught from consuming you. I merely seek a forest, or perhaps some fresh fruit,"
"I understand, nascent one. Well, if you head south you will encounter a human settlement. They have excess food, and if you strike in the dead of night with your eye closed they won't see your light. As a servant and shaman of Göttlich, I shall give you some advice: when you finally find a sentient sacrifice to consume, choose the magic of blood. Göttlich has granted you hemophilia, so it will be many times more valuable for you to use blood instead of some other magic,"
"Thank you, shaman. I shall take your advice, and when I grow enough I shall sacrifice a mortal,"

"Then all is right. Go forth and prosper in your own strength, nascent one,"
And go forth he did. Alex went south with the directions of the shaman and soon arrived at the human settlement. There were dozens of wealthy merchants and a few mercenaries. So, he waited till nightt to steal a wrapped portion of ham by holding it in his closed mouth and flying away.
When he got back to the palace, he ate about a third of the ham. Then it happened.
System active:
Summoning circle accurate, full seal relational summons incoming.
White light surrounded Alex as he's ripped through millions of planes, finally appearing in a glowing circle in the center of library. A student looks at him wide eyed as Alex opens his maw to speak,
"Why have you summoned me mortal? I was in the middle of a meal! You better have something live to feed me!"
The student laughed out loud, before holding out a piece of clearly low quality meat,
"Here is your sacrifice, nascent one. I understand that your kind prefer live flesh, but this is merely to start a relationship for the future. Future sacrifice will be greater if you agree to serve me for a period. Additionally, I can teach you as a form of payment, so I hope we can both grow from this experience,".
Alex hesitantly responded with a blink before beginning to speak once more,
"Alright... give me the meat as a token of goodwill and I'll start negotiations,".
The student showed him a kind smile before passing his hand into the summoning circle, and Alex used his tongue to pull the meat into his mouth before revertimg into his eye form.
Alex thought about what he wanted before speaking in his eye form by manifesting his mouth in a pocket space behind his eye,
"First, I want you to teach me how to use my mana. Then I want you to teach me how to travel back and forth between my home and this place. Finally, I'll do you a favour that we can discuss in return. Do we have a deal?"
The student nodded before responding with his side of the deal,
"So long as you teach me about your realm and deity I can agree to those terms. They should be low value for the both of us,"
"Umm... I don't have a deity... A little green man with a staff thought I did, but I live in an abandoned palace,"
The student shrugged and thought for a few seconds before finally saying,
"I think my teacher said unaligned Angeli are fine. If not, I'll get credit some other way. If I've already gone to this much trouble to summon you I'll be fine. Do we have a deal then, nascent one?"
Alex thought about it for a moment before finally saying in unison with the student,
"Deal."
