In the district entering a luxurious building on the edge of the district center, a man of about 30 years of age was entering. The man looked like he had barely awakened from a deep sleep, and so he had, having just woken up and half dressed for lunch in the district.
-Welcome player, how can I help you?
A human-like android speaks to him once inside the store on the first floor.
"Nothing, I'm on my way to VIP section" replies the man and advances inside the first floor towards the elevator, the coffee shop consists of the first floor and the second floor of the building with an incredible balcony and green areas, but on one of the upper floors, the second to last floor to be exact, there was the VIP section of the same store. The man enters a kind of elevator and once it has closed, another voice is heard.
-Player recognized, Jackson Snow. Initiating ascension to the VIP area of Horizon Coffee.
The elevator closes, and a brief moment of 2 seconds later, it reopens. This time he would be in the VIP section. Even though it was almost noon, Jackson would barely go to eat his breakfast, it wasn't time for a breakfast, but in his philosophy of life time didn't matter for when he was hungry, even though it was just an excuse for always waking up late, even though that was what his job demanded.
In the VIP section only people from the association were allowed and very rarely entered even then. As Jackson served himself his food, since there were no androids in the VIP section, he noticed two people in the balcony area but didn't pay much attention to who they were until he heard someone's voice call out to him.
"Jack pour me something too! I'm being held hostage watching a boring video!"
"Help yoursel...wait, Daniel? and Sasha?" he says surprised, not because it was Daniel who was there, not because it was Sasha who was next to him, not even because the balcony was closed with the glass window because they were watching the playback of a live video, what impressed Jackson was...
"(What the fuck... What are Daniel and that crazy woman doing here together?)" While Jackson doubted whether it would be safe to stay for lunch with that explosive combination, he kept moving to go serve Daniel his food, at least he didn't want to piss off his boss.
"(If it were in the past no one would say anything, but after 'that' event, I doubt it would be a good idea to spend much time here.)"

While Jackson pondered whether he would still be unharmed in the coffee shop, Steve hoped that his plan would end with him being unharmed, the bet would be lost by his cousin if he didn't get everything right on the first try. As he waited on top of a tree, hidden among the branches, he decided not to pay attention to those details, he had to concentrate on killing the next orc that passed by, and he had to do it before the orc warrior passed by that route again, in that small blind spot the interval of time that the orc worker passed by and in which the orc warrior on patrol passed by was very short.
For the easy difficulty the number of orc workers was higher, and the orc warriors did not patrol far from the camp, so the orc workers could be eliminated without an orc warrior intervening. On medium difficulty, the warriors patrolled away from the camp, but their routes did not always coincide with the routes of the orc workers. And on the hard difficulty, not only could the secondary mission be activated, but the number of orc warriors was much greater and their routes covered all the routes used by the workers. For the insane difficulty it would simply be... insane.

"(It's now or never, the orc worker is going to pass now, and I have to eliminate him in less than 15 seconds without making any noise.)" Thinks the boy as he prepares to jump on the orc.
When the orc wore no armor, it was most likely a laborer, barely wearing some rags, not that orc warriors wore great armor either, they were simple pieces of metal strapped together around their body.
Just the interval at which the orc worker and the orc warrior passed that point was 15 to 30 seconds, a little more if one were lucky, but Steve put it at 15 seconds to be sure.
*THUD* the boy falls on the orc's back, inserting his daggers into the enemy, one in his back and one in his neck. The difference in weight between the young boy and the large, probably adult orc meant that the orc didn't fall to the ground on impact, plus it didn't kill him all at once and his dagger didn't stick properly where the boy wanted it to, but it did penetrate deep enough (luckily) for the enemy not to scream loudly. 10 seconds later, the orc dies and the boy is already running to where he thinks there should be no patrols.
"It worked... I just have to keep going like this (but it's too long just to kill one)." It was true, just to kill that orc he was studying some routes for more than half an hour and then finding blind spots, according to the information he had, half of the orc camp would be about 19 to 23 orcs for the hard difficulty. Clearing half of the camp could easily take him a whole day, taking into account that he needed to rest and eat, lucky that the system also let him place food in the inventory and that his cousin had already told him to bring it, although it's not like that information wasn't public, after all it was only the third PvE tutorial.
"(I should look for another way? and to begin with, even if I can kill them by ambushing them, I can't infiltrate the camp either, those orcs have very good senses, maybe it's from living in the wild for a long time, or maybe I'm just bad at stealth)" The boy thinks for a moment as he rests somewhere in the middle of the valley where orc warrior patrols are rare.
His cousin and his cousin's friend would be watching him for now, although he thought to finish as soon as possible, he remembered that Daniel told him one thing at the last moment 'no matter how fast you are, the side quest will take you more than a day', now he could understand that he was not making fun of him, he was giving him a piece of advice, that this tutorial was quite long. However, little did the boy know what Daniel actually said was for another reason, not to tease him or warn him of how long this tutorial was, and he wouldn't know until he completed the side quest.
"(I should have looked for more information about the mission, Sasha just told me not to be in a hurry to complete the side mission, just to rest before leaving)" he thinks, but of course it was something he could only hope for, or at least have looked up tutorial information on his own, not to be overconfident.

"Boss can I ask, who's the boy?" asks Jackson to Daniel.
"No, you can't" Although Daniel was asked, it was Sasha who answered, pretending to have Daniel's voice "Nah, that's what Dani would say anyway"
"Shouldn't you be working?" This time it is Daniel who asks Jackson.
"(You could answer my question before you ask me anything else, you know?)" Jackson thinks sarcastically, although his words are different from his thought "No, I mean, I don't have anything to do today"
"And is it better to stay and watch a newbie in the tutorial?"
"(If you guys activated the balcony glass screen, it's not just any rookie)" again, he doesn't tell them what he thinks, after all, both people present could roast him in a second "Yeah, I mean no, I mean...I guess so?"
"Stay, if you have nothing to do you are welcome, so I have a witness for the bet" this time it's Sasha speaking again.
"Ok? (Gambling? sounds like trouble, should I have left as soon as I could?)"
