After the unwilling petting, Khee started grumbling in the corner of the crypt, surrounded by his ten Ratman Defenders, their gazes locked at the ends of the corridor, nearby, Amelia, Yolrock, and Annabell were speaking, simply coming up with an interesting plan
“We need a true fortress if we’d want to defend against that despicable godling,” Yolrock said, stroking his beard, which moved like liquid fire
“I understand that, but I don’t know how to make one so quickly” Amelia mumbles, playing with a strand of her ivory hair
“Why don’t we just reinforce the crypt and use it as a fort? The dead won’t mind, and from what we’ve heard, they’d gladly take the chance just to piss off the godling” Khee snarled, their sinuous body shifting to join the group as Annabell flinched back, not expecting the loud volume
“Hmmm… yeah, that could work, Me Pa always said that our ancestors would love this place to be the main reason for the godling being unable to do what he wants!” Yolrock unleashes a great, booming laugh, holding onto his, admittedly large, stomach “So, We need to talk classes, so we can truly see what we’re good at!”
Zerkert whined in the background about something, before getting pushed along by a Ratman archer and an Elven Hunter, both annoyed by his constant whining
“Well, Khee is a Slasher Commander, so they’ll be a great choice to lead an army, I’m a Warrior Slayer, so I’d be best sent with them for defense” Amelia tapped her chin thoughtfully
“Ah, I am a Warrior Berserker, while little Annie is currently classless…” Yolrock mumbles then seem to brighten up “We have a good array of classes to defend a place, and a decent-sized army, sure it’s cowardly Rats and fragile Tree-huggers. But it will be good enough for now”

Amelia frowns as Khee snarls at the perceived insult against them before Yolrock raises his hands in a peaceful manner
“Not you two! You two are fairly tough and brave!” Yolrock’s voice is filled with humor, despite the mildly upset Elf and aggravated Rat as Annabell giggles slightly
“T-This army isn’t weak, and with a Commander to curb the worst of both the Ratman and Elf’s Tendencies, this should work pretty well” Annabell’s quiet voice whispers out, barely heard by the other Leaders, but heard nonetheless
“You’re right, Annie, The Ratman’s cowardly tendencies will be warped into a zealot fervor that even the Orcs will be hard-pressed to match, while the Elf's natural fragility will be bolstered by both the commander’s strengthening banners and the natural Rattish Fortitude, combined with the Elven Intelligence and the Rattish Cunning, this armada will be well suited for ambushing, and rest assured that, as long as the natural Ratman’s inclination for ambushing and less than fair fights holds, we should always be in a better position than most other pure armies, this could only be bolstered if we manage to convince some fellow dwarves to join us! The high-grade weapons and ingenuity they’d bring would make this army truly terrifying!” Yolrock laughs a great belly laugh, his voice picking up steam as he goes along his speech, so much so that the normally whining Zerkert even quiets down, there is no sneers of superiority from the elves, no chittering of malice from the Rodents, just near silence.
Khee stands straighter, speaking out loud and clear, channeling their [Commander] class to give their words weight “Listen. This journey will be long and hard, but we will overcome, we shall thrive where others have fallen, bend where others have broken, We will RISE!”
There is silence for a few heartbeats, and then a loud cheer, elven eyes bright with loyalty to their queen, Rattish eyes gleaming with their newfound desire to force the world to acknowledge their existence, the armada’s desire to stand, even if the world around them burns to ashes.
