Li Chen
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The view of vast grass extending before my eyes through the door was refreshing. Almost everything here made me feel like royalty. As soon as the sun rose in the morning , the whole Sect seems like its filled with energy. So much natural energy. I can't help but feel happy in the mornings watching the scenery outside. The Li Sect is surrounded by hills on one side. The other side is a dense forest.
It was three years ago that I was born in this world. It took some time for me to understand their language and the way these idiots lived. As far as I know this world has one sun and one moon. I was quite surprised when I came to know these lowlifes actually knew something about astronomy. But as for where exactly I am in this universe, I didn't have a clue. Initially I had many questions. Most of them were answered by some of the books I found within the sect. I would often cry looking at the book that I wanted have a look at. The maids would give that book thinking I would stop crying. Well, they were right. There were maids for everything. Changing my clothes, giving me a bath, walking me around the sect, giving me whatever I would ask etc. All of these activities were accompanied by the woman who gave birth to me. I call her mother. It makes her happy. As I said, it was absolute royalty.
This world was called the Gaspra Realm. It was ruled by martial artists. The power of these people were comparable to my previous world. I was quite shocked. This world like my previous world had standards for 'power'. More like people were divided by levels. Here these levels were called "Profound Realms". A person who was at the age of twelve would start practicing martial arts. These martial arts where called the Way of the Immortals. It was something really stupid according to me. In short, there were a few profound realms or levels, as one crossed each profound realm to the next profound realm, his power would increase drastically. Each profound realm was divided into ten sub-levels or stages. As one would advance from the first to the last stage, he would be able to advance to the next profound realm.
Every martial artist would start with the first profound realm. It was the Rudimentary Profound Realm. Those aged twelve once started practicing, would reach the first stage of the rudimentary profound realm after some good training. From there on out they had to continue the hard work to reach new heights. There were several ways to step up to the next stages. One of the most essential method was meditation. This method was used to enter the first profound realm as well as advance to the later realms. The martial artists were called cultivators. They called training as cultivating.
"I need more power......"
I was really disappointed. The methods for cultivating from my previous world didn't work here. My first objective was strength. It was my only objective. So I needed to find out how these people trained. Hence from a few days I have been visiting the training grounds. I make the maids take me where the sect members train. I must say, they train hard. The top cultivators make up less than one percent of this world. Most of the sect members are average. But this level of talent to the smaller sects is something they can never have or never reach.
Talking about sects, there are five major sects in this continent. The whole of this continent is an empire called Yellow Shield Empire. This empire has five major sects. The Yin Sect, Chu Sect, Ling Sect, Zhao Sect and Li Sect. It was quite fortunate for me to be born in this sect because they had a lot of resources. The five major sects had branch sects of their own. The empire was ruled by the royal family. The current time was of peace. The last war was fifteen years ago with the neighboring empire. There was no victor as both the empires reached a stalemate. The losses were large for both the parties. The war was with the Blue Eagle Empire. Both the empires considered each other as rivals. Since the end of the war, both the empires compete with each other in martial art competitions. All does not seem well between the two in peace time as well.

As for continents, there are seven continents. The ruling empires number four. Some of the area in a few continents are ruled by clans and the the four empires refuse to recognize them as an empire. The Yellow Shield is more of a neutral power. They are too careful in diplomacy. They don't get on anyone's bad side.
I need at least two to three years before I can start training. I'm running out of patience. Everyone may start at age twelve but I will start when I'm five or maybe six. I have a feeling I can do it. After all, I'm different from these guys.

Somewhere in the Yellow Shield empire mansion.
There were two old men conversing something secretly in their chambers. It was difficult to read the expression on one of the old man's face. As he passed down the message he received to the other old man, he felt relieved as if a burden was cut off from his shoulders.
"Impossible!!!" the old man bellowed in a growling voice.
"What the hell are you saying? They started to move already??"
"Indeed. We caught one of their spy's. We had him cough up some information"
"Is the information reliable???"
"Yes. It is. It's from a prominent source"
"Do you even know what this means? After fifteen years the Blue Eagle empire has started to move. This information itself can cause ruckus within the council. W-We need more information. W-We need to be absolutely certain"
"Yes. There is also a chance that there may not be anything major. The information given up by the spy may be all lies"
"Look I don't want this issue to prolong any further. Take care of it. If it really does become something serious then come back to me. That will be the time I take some measures"
"Understood" the old man replied as left the chambers.
As his subordinate left, he was all alone in his room. He thought of the war fifteen years ago and how big the losses were to the empire. His gaze was fixed on the moon. He just stared at it through the window, standing still without making any movements.
"Hmmm......I need to make arrangements" he spoke to himself.
