  Caleb opened his eyes to see a pair of purple cat eyes staring down at him from his forehead, making him get started and jump up. His movement made the small winged tiger cub fall onto the bed. She growled at him in annoyance yet what he heard was totally different. "You big bully why did you do that? I shall have my vengeance! Now help me out of this white crap so I can claw you." Caleb was at first gobsmacked about this, then he felt the dots click realizing that the cub must be his soul familiar. Reaching out he untangled her from the bedsheets were she promptly clawed him yet se retracted her claws so it wouldn't cut the skin. "Hehehe. I win! Getting vengeance against you it sooo much easier than against mommy's tail. "

  All Caleb could think was how freaking cute this tiger cub was. But after a moment he began to worry about how useful she would be in a fight. He had taken a risk in the hopes that his familiar could increase his combat ability. Worse he had know idea of the growth pattern of a normal tiger much less one that had wings. With a grunt he decided that he would buy a book on the species later. For know he planned to pull up her status page and his tow see what he was working with.

DESCRIPTION: Abilities cost zero resources to activate do to them just being a part of who you are. Using them though can cost either mana or stamina same as running or walking. Some may just require a charge.

Thunder Breath 2/2: A powerful breath attack that carries 3 million volts. Strikes up to 30 yards away. Takes 12 hours to regain a single charge

Mana Transfer: Able to send mana to soul familiar at a 3:1 cost

Merge 1/1: Can merge bodies with soul familiar for 20 minutes. Takes 48 hours to regain a single charge

Totem Sanctuary: Can escape into her soul familiars body leaving a totem tattoo on his back. While inside the tattoo all resources(HP, MP, SP) regen at 5 times the normal speed. Can slow down the worsening of certain wounds. Must stay inside Sanctuary for at least 24 hours before able to leave requiring another 24 hours after exiting before ability can be used again

Soul Guide: Always know soul familiars location

  Caleb was somewhat surprised that he was considered her soul familiar as well yet it just felt right. They were not a master and servant, instead they were soul bonded. He even wondered briefly if this was truly what a soulmate should feel like, as he never believed that a soulmate should have anything to do with romance but instead just be a resonance between souls. But that was a debate for another time it was time to see what his Profession gave him and to check out his own status page.

Ritualist of Blood

Ritualist use a combination of alchemy reagents, formations, and magical languages to interact with the forces of chaos and order.

Rituals can be used to give permanent boosts, create unique weapons, give weapons souls, summon allies or test subjects.

If it can be done a ritual can imitate it though maybe not as efficiently.

Most Ritualist prefer to avoid injury yet a Ritualist of Blood's most important reagent is their very own blood

  Caleb was slightly disappointed when he saw that the stats for his class weren't retroactive but he could understand as his previous levels were all for his race.He was somewhat worried as well by the increase in his holy weakness as well as the addition of a high weakness for light magic. When he saw the jump in his affinity for lightning he chalked it up to his new soul bond, but was super excited about his new affinity for space. After looking everything over again he clicked the abilities tab to see what new abilities he had gained.

ABILITIES:

Abyssal Wings: Grow draconic wings, each wing is as long as your height X1.5. Wings can be used for flight defense or attacking. Wings heal at same speed as body wethere out or retracted.Requires stamina to fly Abyssal Scales: Abyssal scales are only slightly weaker than dragon scales of the same Rank. Dark purple scales cover the entire body giving great physical and superb magical defense. takes mana to repair scales. scales are weak to Holy magic and acid Abyssal Behemoth: Abyssal beings are huge by most people's standard. Grow 12 feet tall while maintaining same body proportions, growing two black horns that encircle the skull while hair transforms into abyssal flames that seem almost like liquid draped down your back. STR becomes twice as effective stamina drains at 1.5 times normal speed Abyssal Breath 2/2: Breath a stream of abyssal flames for 15 seconds at 15,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Flames can travel for up to 40 yards, flames take one hour to go out unless stopped. Takes 12 hours to regenerate a charge Abyssal Claws: Razor sharp claws covered in liquid abyssal flames. Can inject abyssal flames inside target as long as claws enter deep enough to touch blood costing 5MP/sec Feed: Drink blood to regain lost HP, SP, and MP.   Unable to help himself Caleb immediately activated blink. Then he promptly threw up do to the disorientation caused by appearing in a completely new place while his mind said he should be back were he started, obviously he would need to practice with this ability a bit before it became useful. He also decided to pay more attention to learning the runes that affected space as he knew that it would take him over a year to learn and master all the Tier 2 runes though hopefully his class would help speed that up. Looking over his ferociously cute soul familiar Caleb tried to come up with a name for her. At first he wanted to give her a name that seemed cool or badass but seeing her try to pounce and hit the doorknob he changed his mind. Instead he choose a slavic name that one of his sister's friends had, Lidah meaning small winged one loved by the people. Finishing up with everything Caleb decided to go and explore a little before working on gaining a few levels. Evolution to E-rank was level 25 and the evolution to D-rank was level 50, and every 50 levels after that he would gain another evolution. For classes and profession they were different, allowing specialization at level 100 and 400 yet going up in tier every 50 levels. Currently both his class and profession was Tier 0. He had a very long way to go so it was best to get started, so clicking accept on the name selection he opened the door heading out to search for new adventures a curious winged-tiger cub nipping at his heels.
