As Abbadon emerges from within a crack on the side of a cliff, he takes a second to take in the scenery and light.
It took 2 years to break out of the sealed dimensional pocket, but it was in the end worth it.
After resting for a few seconds, he looks towards the ground and notices it would be at least a 100 metre drop, so he sighs and starts climbing down.
After reaching the floor, he starts to ponder upon which way he should head towards in order to reach civilisation. But before he could start thinking, a shadow leapt towards him with incredible speed, and with no time to react, he decides to roll to the side, and as he rolls he feels a sharp pain coming from his left arm and chest, a deep gash could be seen.
After rolling away, he comes to a stop in a crouching position, Abbadon looks at the shadow, only to be surprised as to what had attacked him. It wasn’t like any animal he’d ever come across, it looked like a tiger but this particular tiger was different. The only differences between this tiger and any normal tiger would be its size, colour and horns, it had goat like horns on its head, while it fur had turned grey and it’s size had grown to that of a horse.
After a brief moment of being shocked, a stinging pain snaps him out of it, and after noticing the dire situation he was in, he becomes alert and serious. The tiger looks at him sinisterly, as if looking at prey.
After getting up, Abbadon slowly starts to circle around the tiger, sizing it up, waiting for an opportunity to strike, and after what seemed like hours, the tiger pounces towards him with the intent to kill, but Abbadon is ready, as the tiger is about to land on him, he leans to the left and dodges its paws whilst he counters with a straight punch to the tigers nose, and as his punch connects, a faint green light emerges from the back of his hand, knocking the tiger back 10 meters taking down trees as it flew to a stop.
The green light signified the activation of his rune, ‘impact’ it triples the power of the users strike, it’s only downsides would be the activation sequence, it can only activate for .4 seconds, meaning it can only be used upon impact and the punch has to have momentum to be used at its full potential, its upside would be its continuous use.
As the tiger flew away, Abbadons eyes flash with an intense red light and he pounces on the chance to finish the tiger off, he rushes towards it, jumps up and brings down his fist upon its head before it could get up. As the fist made contact with its head, it explodes outwards, covering him with blood and gore.
When the adrenaline wears off, he flicks his hand out a few times with enough force for the blood to come off and wipes his face.
‘What the fuck was that? I haven’t seen nor heard of an animal like this before.’
After pondering about it, he decides now isn’t the time to worry about such trivial things and instead starts to think about survival.
As he looks around and surveys the area, he decides it’s a better idea to move away from the corpse, in case other or more dangerous beasts are drawn to the scent of blood.
But now that he has the time to look around, the trees and plants seemed to have grown more larger than he recalls them being, the average tree trunk would take a few men to wrap around it, if not more, and the plants had grown as tall as a few meters.
It now seems that he had been transferred to a different world entirely, since the plants and animals seems so different from earths.
A few days later, a young man emerges from the woods onto a dirt road and looks around, his clothes consist of what seems to be a pair of ripped up shorts and a cape of white fur with a wolves head lying on his shoulder. He looked as though he was a savage and the look in his eyes strengthened this assumption further.
This young man was Abbadon. After killing the tiger like beast, he’d come across many other dangerous beasts, a pack of wolves that had fur as hard as steel, a man eating plant, giant bees etc, and he’d even had to transform on a few occasions, and just a few hours ago, he’d encountered a giant black bear that seemed too much even for him, so he decided to avoid it before coming across this road.
He decided to recuperating for a bit before he started walking down the road, hoping to find civilisation. After walking for a few hours he finally came across what seems like civilisation, except it wasn’t what he had expected.
In front of him lay what seemed to be a town, a small one at that, but everything that it was, all of the building were covered in weeds and moss, as if no one had lived here for centuries, and it wasn’t just any town. Cars also littered the street, but they were also covered in moss.
‘What the actual fuck is going on?’ Abbadon thinks, astonished by the sight, he’d assumed that he had transferred to a different dimension, but instead it looks as if he’s on Earth, because he remembers this town, he’d stayed at the local motel for a while before entering the forrest. It was called Hausach.
‘Looks like a lot more than 2 years have passed since I was last here. It’d take at least 50 years of abandonment for this place to be like this, if not more. Seems like I have to quickly travel to Offenburg to find out what the fuck happened while I was trapped’
Before leaving, he decided to look inside the buildings to see if anything could help his anxiousness. Anyone who had been through a coma could somewhat sympathise with Abbadon, after all, if so much time has passed, someone like his only family, his grandmother, would’ve died long ago. So he was anxious to know if she really was dead, and where she was buried.
After an hour of scouring the place, he found nothing but scraps of metal, so he decided to head out towards Offenburg.
While walking, he decides to rip off his fur coat and throw it on the ground because of its stuffiness, he readies himself and activates explosive speed.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Explosive speed uses tiny air explosives underneath the soles of the feet to boost a persons speed significantly, making the user 4-5 times their normal speed, it can also be used in the air, allowing one to be versatile both on the ground and in the air, but used continuously can result in their feet becoming injured, should their body be strong enough though, they can use it infinitely.
Although strong, Abbadon could only use explosive speed for 1hr before he’d have to rest. But it was more than enough to travel to Offenburg.
Whilst running, he couldn’t help notice the eerie quietness of the jungle. The silence gave him a sense of danger, and he was right, in front of him stood a small mountain, it was 5-7 metres tall and 10 meters long, its fur was matt black, its claws were razor sharp, giving off a feeling as if they could rip through anything, and its jaw was filled with vicious looking teeth that could shred through bones, it was the black bear from before, staring at him with what seemed like contempt, as if saying ‘you dare disturb my peace and quiet.’
Abbadon cancels explosive speed and digs his feet into the ground, halting to a stop. He heaved a big sigh, knowing he should have expected this much. But instead of trying to avoid the bear, he looks at it and his mouth curls into a slight smile. He takes out a black golf ball sized ball from his pocket, looks at it and squeezes. It breaks with a distinct sound, but that was nothing to be afraid of, what came next would induce fear into anyone who saw what happened after though.
Abbadon opens his hand and the once small ball starts to expand with black mist covering it, the mix of mist and black rock elongate outward from his palm shaping itself into what seemed like a weapon. It grew to a staggering 5 feet, the whole thing was black with a tinge of red, it was a giant claymore, reminiscent of something from a fantasy. The blade alone was 4 feet, whilst the hilt and guard took up the rest, it looked sinister and fit for someone demonic.
Whilst trapped, Abbadon learned a lot, the black ball is one example. Whilst bored, he decided to try to see the black balls functions, and after a few hours of probing it with soul energy a response came back, as if asking him to break it apart, and although hesitant, he did as asked. Then as it broke apart, black smoke came out of his hand and as if on instinct, the ball started to shape itself into a cube. A few days later he also learned that in order for it to expand and shape it, he had to provide it blood. So whilst out and about, everything he killed became nourishment for what he named ‘cloud’. And so what’s in Abbadons hand is the end result.
The more blood consumed by cloud, the more heavier and concentrated it became, and the way cloud was now, in claymore form, he weighed 110kg, which boosted its killing power greatly.
A philosophy of Abbadons was, hesitation is a mans greatest enemy, and this applies especially in situations like this. So after equipping cloud, Abbadon didn’t wait for the black bear to make its move and ran head on towards it.
Once a few meter from the bear he jumps a few metres into the air on its right side to dodge the claw coming towards him, he knew that should it land a hit on him, it could mean death, so he acted with both caution and ruthlessness. Once in the air, the black bear looks as if looking at a dumb bug, and uses its maw to bite at him, but before it’s jaws could snap onto him, he uses explosive speed and jumps over his head and lands on its lower back with a downward stab.
The stab cuts through the fur and penetrates the skin moving into its muscle, but it couldn’t move any further in. Disappointed, he jumps off before the bear could try to shake him off and lands with a forward roll before he starts sprinting off towards its hind legs. After reaching its left leg he punches with everything he has, combined with ‘impact’, the damage it could do was immense, but unfortunately, the fur absorbed most of the shock, nullifying the attack.
As his punch ends, it manages to push the bear enough to annoy it and it turns around to claw at him. As the attack is about to land, he backflips but the backflip prevents him from seeing the bears other paw which lands squarely onto his body, sending him flying into a giant boulder crushing it to pieces.
His muscles ached and he could feel many of his bones had been fractured but the pain it brought about was minimal, he only found it more annoying than anything. Without any other choice, he activates his flesh rune, transforming him into a demonic flesh monster, as the transformation end, he lets out a demonic roar towards the sky.
As the bear looks on towards what should have been a mangled body, it was surprised to find a demon in its place, and as it hears the roar of the demon, it becomes fearful of what was in front of it. But instead of running away, the black bear becomes enraged at the fact such a tiny being could instil fear into itself and roars at it.
Instead of listening to its instincts, it charges towards the demon, raises its paw and smashes towards the being with unprecedented strength, but instead of dodging like the bear had expected it to, the demon throws a punch of its own, and as their punches connect, a green light emerges from the beings fist, bringing about power beyond the bears belief. After contact, an explosion pushes both the demon and the bear back, and as they both come to a stop, they glare at each other with a murderous look.
As the fight stops, the surrounding become silent, as if suffocating from the intense pressure the 2 entities exuded, and after a few seconds, the black bear makes its move. It uses an attack that would cost enough energy to shave off a few years off its life, but even knowing that, it still continues to use it, at the cost of obliterating its enemy. It stands on its hind legs and lifts its paw towards the sky, and holds the paw there for a few seconds before bringing the claw down crashing towards the ground as if slashing at an invisible entity in front of it, as the claws hit the ground, three blades of light rip through the earth like hot knives through butter and head towards Abbadon.
Had Abbadon been in his human form, he would have tried to stop the attack at all costs, but his speed in his flesh form would never allow it, so instead he grabs cloud, quickly slices his left forearm and offers it his blood and in exchange the blade of the claymore becomes elongated and expands to a massive 6 feet alone.
Abbadon lifts the newly formed blade into a baseball stance and awaits the attack to reach him, before he slashes towards the blades of light with all his strength, this time with the added affect of ‘impact’, the three blades connect with the claymore and an even bigger explosion than the last exchange occurs, ruining all life around Abbadon, sending him back 50 meters crashing into multiple trees before he coming to a stop.
As he lay on the ground exhausted, his body can no longer handle the flesh demon form and changes him back into his human form, he feels a trembling in the ground, they’re footsteps, its the black bear slowly creeping towards him, obviously exhausted as well. Abbadon tries to get up but his body denies him. Being as stubborn as he was though, he forces his body to stand slowly, blood covers the majority of his face and drips down his entire body which was covered in wounds.
Looking upon the giant bear before him though, he can tell it’s not in any better shape than he was, the paw that he’d attacked in his demon form had mangled, blood poured out of its mouth, and its breathing was heavy. It lifts its only paw up to finish off the vile human before it but stops as it hears the human laughing hysterically.
Abbadons face isn’t of one who has given up, in fact, it’s one full of smiles, he looks up at the bear and roars, “COME ON YA STUPID FUCKING BEAR! I DARE YOU!”
And with that the bear could feel the human mocking it so it slashes at Abbadon with rage filling its eyes, but it doesn’t notice the cunning glint in Abbadons eyes. As the paw lands upon him, he’s sent flying with 3 enormous gashes across his torso, the wounds are so deep, one could see mangled bones and flesh in them.
As the bear looks at the mangled human, it turns around and leaves towards its den, too exhausted to eat.
