Chapter - 1

Prologue - Chance

In a fairly technological world, where touch-screen phones are the latest trend, a device used to communicate between two people over great distance. A teenage student stood on the roof of a school, staring down at the distant ground below. This teen did not fear the height, since instead of showing a face full of fear, he showed a smile. However, that smile was for a completely different reason, as he pushed himself forward over the railing and fell to his doom.

His body, ragdolled and spinned as it got closer and closer to the ground. At a great speed, the body smacked hard against the ground with a splat. A crater was formed where the teen’s body should've lay dead, but it didn’t. His legs were crippled, but he wasn’t dead, as he crawled out the small crater, created by the force of the fall.

Several individuals had crowded around, as they most likely heard the bone-cracking noise that reverberated throughout the perimeter after the teen impacted with the ground. They were curiously eying the crawling corpse, but after identifying it as one of their kind, they began to panic and take out their smartphones, to call emergency. However, a person approached the corpse, the person seemed to have some intelligence as he tore a piece of cloth and went to tie it around a body part.

However, that person who tried to help the dying teen got his chest impaled, by a hand, the teenager’s hand.

This teenager could no longer be classed as a human, only a monster. No human would survive a four-story fall, and have the energy to keep moving, but even if they did, they would definitely not be able to pierce bones like butter with their hands. This teenager was a monster, definitely. Even the silent whisper that he spoke out, could be heard by everyone as if it was said inside their mind.

“Leave me be!”

Panic started, as the crowd started to disperse in every direction, in order to be safe from the undying monster.

Laxius Volgenheim or currently the monster, he was destined to push Earth to greater heights. All hopes were on him, he was the world’s prodigy genius that would even leave Albert Einstein seem unintelligent when compared to him. However, Laxius had...different plans.

From the big crowd of people, only a dozen remained as they watched Laxius bleed out voluntarily, unable to do anything apart from shedding tears and shouting out their voices filled with regret and pain.

“Brother why? I’m sorry for not being there...please just let us get near.” A childish voice spoke out, as it continuously tried to get near Laxius, but was stopped by some sort of impenetrable barrier.

“Laxius, you can still live on. You are the future, don’t waste this on something like this. So take down your psychic barrier!” An older man commanded, but was unable to do anything against the barrier, same for everyone else.

“...I found my destiny, in another world.” Laxius mumbled under his breath, but thanks to his psychic powers, it was heard as clear as day. Leaving the group stunned and unable to comprehend what was said, as they began to mumble unintelligently.

Laxius’s right hand was still inside a person’s chest, but it was soon removed, followed by an extremely dense wave of telekinesis that was aimed at the falling body of the person. The power was so tremendous that it made the body shoot backwards, meeting the barrier it started to disintegrate as the wave was continuous and didn’t stop, until only blood remained. However, the surrounding barrier was starting to lose power as it turned off, together with the wave of telekinesis. Normally, you wouldn’t be able to use the psychic power to this kind of level, but when someone uses their life force, which Laxius did, it is a different topic all together.

Laxius exhaled for the last time, as he fell forward, but he was caught by an elderly woman who quickly placed Laxius on her lap. Laxius only stared at the sky, as his vision turned darker and darker, but not before he heard a line that made him slightly regret his decision.

“My son Laxius, I have always loved you, why did it turn out this way?” The elderly woman asked, as tears fell down onto Laxius’s cheek.

Laxius Volgenheim, the future of Earth, died in the year 2021, January 22nd.

Laxius found himself in a white cubic room, that looked like a place to deter insane people. He wore white robes, that almost camouflaged with the complete white room, his shoulder length black hair colour contrasted everything, making it stand out.

“Hey, you are 200 years early!” A godly feminine voice spoke out from every direction making the voice feel powerful, but Laxius had already pinpointed the source and took two diagonal steps to the right, with his aided psychic aura reading.

His arm shot out grabbing the air in front of him, and his eyes were that of a killer committing murder. The hand clenched the air above Laxius, two heads higher. However, just as the hand seemed to have grabbed something, Laxius was sent straight into a wall with extreme force. The pain from the fractured ribs, was not there, but a different pain was, like a dentist drill that had started to excavate your tooth without any numbness to ease the pain, it was that kind of pain but multiplied tenfold.

“That’s what you get for groping my breast!” The female spoke in a shy and embarrassed voice.

The pain was enough to faint Laxius, but something kept him conscious, something kept him awake and made him experience that pain over and over again, and it didn’t stop. However, it was finally explained by the female, that had finally showed her appearance. A blonde motherly figure with supple breasts, her ears were long and pointed upwards, her face was well toned and without imperfections, and she wore the same robe as Laxius.

“You are going to be reincarnated into my playground, we need to do it quickly since I injured your soul because of your audacity, so here are your options and choose quickly...” She spoke in a hurried voice, further emphasising the need to hurry. She quickly told Laxius of his options which were:

Prince of a King, Demon King, Dragon, Unique Monster, Unique demi-human, Legendary Human...none of these really interested Laxius, all except one, which was the: or you can try your luck, and I choose one for you. Laxius believed that option was the best one, so he picked that, but not before grunting in pain, while shocking the woman once more.

“I already knew I would meet you, Death Goddess, so I will choose: try my luck. Be gentle...kay?” Laxius said in an unsure voice, as he had already violated her by accidentally touching her breast, but it really wasn’t all his fault that she opted to be invisible and gave Laxius a spook.

She gave a menacing grin, bent down towards Laxius and gave a deep kiss to the forehead. Something happened, and Laxius felt it, great strength and power filled him. However, the lightness of the room disappeared and turned black, and he fell through the floor, leaving the Goddess floating on nothing.

“Have fun….my sweet child”
