I’m finally back, and once again, I’d like to apologize for the unexpected hiatus.

I’m starting to feel like 2023 is just turning into a string of annoying health issues conspiring to prevent me from accomplishing the things that I’ve set out to do. But I’m feeling better now, so on with the story.

If you haven’t already seen it, I’ve added a glossary at the beginning for your reference. It’s my goal to make sure that it’s never required reading, but if you want to look through it, it contains a few definitions, a complete card list, and information about the mechanics of both the Deckmaster class and the larger world. I’ll continue to update everything as things progress.

Finally, even though my posting consistency has not met the standard that I’d like to maintain, and even though I’ve had a few unplanned hiatuses, I’d like to reassure anyone worried that I might drop the story. I have no plans on stopping until Deckmaster reaches its ultimate conclusion.

While I haven’t been able to write as much as I would’ve preferred recently, that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been working on the story in other ways. The rest of the first volume and the entirety of the second have been outlined in detail. The third volume has a rough outline, and the general plot of the fourth has already been determined. There’s still a lot of Dylan's journey left to tell, and I intend to tell it to the end.
