Khafk awoke to a overgrown Obo coiled around his body.No matter what he tried Obo refused to wake up, and whenever Khakf tried to wiggle his way free. Well Obo just did what his snake cousins do; constrict.
“Wake up Obo!” Khakf yelled out mentally for the hundred time. Only this time there was a faint reply. * Yawn * “Mmmorning Chief.” Obo’s voice rang out in a drowsy tone. “It's not morning Obo, the sun is already decending, and you've been constricting me the whole time!” Khafk was truly exhausted from the systematic constrictions that kept him bound the whole day. He was incredibly agitated, to say the least.
Obo hurriedly uncoiled from around Khafk after hearing the dangerous undertone in his mental voice. ‘Scary!’ Khafk right now had the aura of a Demon, and Obo understood that right now he needed to get away as speedily his wings would take him. “Your not going anywhere, I've discovered a need for your tail and you owe me for this!” Obo could only lower his head in submission before placing its tail in Khafks hands.
Khafk recalled the words of advice that Akila had given him. ‘So I just need to hold Obo’s tail, and a flower simultaneously to counteract deaths aura.” Khakf excitedly grasped one of the yellow flowers when he suddenly felt a strong spiritual pull draining his energy. He looked towards his hands giving witness to the surreal spectical of a bright white arising from Obo’s tail ,and a dark black aura arising from the hand holding the flower.
The auras clashed together for a brief moment before blending seamlessly creating a deep gray. After that the aura surged and started submerging into the flower. The flower at this moment turned a multitude of colors before changing form completely into a long two meter grey staff. At its head was a black and white globe glowing with brilliance.
The strange thing about this staff was that the longer Khafk stared at it the more he felt a feeling of dread ,and enlightenment. That no matter what, all creatures were bound to the forces of life and death. That there has never been and never will be an escape to this cycle.
Khakf continued to stare at the staff in wonder. “What on Avair could this possibly be?” He muttered in bewilderment.
“The symbol representing the Universal Faction of the Gods. The Eternity Staff.” Khafk looked towards the knowledgable voice to look upon Raeghlie ,and another man who was dressed in a sage like attire. The mans cloths were drapes of blood red cloth adorned with golden lining at the shoulders and cowl which hid his face. Which gave the man an aura of mystery and power.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“It would seem that your disciple is much more interesting than you informed me Raeghlie.” The hoarse voice spoke out again. Raeghlie who had been frozen in shock with his mouth hung open regained his composure. “Khafk we’ll talk about this later, but for the moment allow me introduce Elder Ganson a High Mage of the Northern Empire.”
It was now Khafks turn to be shocked. A High Mage was someone who had achieved Gold Tier Rank. They have no obligation to serve the countries that they reside in, using the empires as resources to do magic research. Of course the empires had their own superpowers rivaling these freeloading experts, but they were only to be contacted in times of dire need.
“N-Nice to meet you High Mage Ganson my name is Khafk Bla-. Umm just Khafk!” Khafk stuttered. His face turning bright red in embarrassment. * Ohohoho * “No need to be so formal child I am ,but an old man. Though I am curious who your mythical friend might be?” Ganson laughed. Obo’s childish voice rang out in everyone's mind. “Nice to meet you Elder Ganson, you may call me Great Guardian.” Obo’s voice carried a tone of contempt.
Right when Khafk was about to reprimand Obo for being rude Ganson raised his hand in protest. “It is an honor to meet a guardian of the supreme mistress, may the world ever host life.” Ganson responded in a tone full of respect and worship.
Khafk had a sudden realization after hearing Ganson’s response.“You’re a Life Mage!” Khafk spoke in surprise.
“Yes, my dear boy I am ,but a faithful servant to the supreme mistress. Though for now we should relocate somewhere… more accomidating for discussion.” At the snap of the high mages fingers the group of four appeared before a exotic looking cottage. Khafk couldn't help ,but be stupified at the strange condition the area was in. The trees all seemed to be bending towards the cottage at impossible angles, while vines grew rampant encompassing the entire building.
“Well do step inside everyone so we may disscuss the implications off awakening your Ki Khafk ,and what it might mean for you to bear the symbol of the Universal Faction of the Gods.” Ganson’s eyes carried a excited glint to them as he ushered possibly some of the most impossible existences he’d ever seen into his home. ‘What fantastic research material!’
