Why hello there, fellow reader.
What brings you along to open this book?
Was it the magical cover page or are you just bored?
Either way, welcome.
Who am I? I don’t really have a name, but you can call me the “Narrator”.
Well, enough with the introductions.
We are not here to discuss about myself, and how you got yourself in this position.
----------------------------------------
There was a time that turned the world upside down.
We call this the day of darkness.
This happened because of a solar eclipse that shut down all of the cities electricity… and much more.
From the skies high above our heads monsters started coming down.
Dragons, Demons, Elves, Mythical creatures. Everything.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
However, this was just the beginning.
Let us rewind time a bit before this all happened.
Our main protagonist Timothy Quickens, but everyone else calls him Tim.
Tim was 25 years old, finally finished college and is looking for a job.
Unfortunately for him, he has zero experience in the labor market.
His first target was to look for a simple basic job to earn enough to survive.
So, he decided to work at a coffee shop right around the corner of his neighborhood.
He got dressed in the best clothes that he had and grabbed his resume and walked out his house.
He stood outside of T*m H*rtons and he wondered if this was the right choice.
Tim sucked up his remaining courage and went into the store.
When it was his time to finally go up to the front counter, the world turned dark.
Exceptionally dark in fact. He couldn’t even see front of him.
Tim wondered, “What is going on?”
He heard mumbling from all around him.
Then suddenly the world turned back on again almost like a press of a switch.
Tim proceeded to go along with what he came here to do.
He was opening his bag and grabbing his resume.
Suddenly loud noises outside of the store was heard.
*BANG BOOM BANG BANG*
Tim thought to himself, “today sure is weird”
Tim looked through the windows of the store and he saw monsters roaming the streets.
Yes, MONSTERS. Almost like monsters from story tales.
Goblins, orcs, wolves as big as 2 full grown man.
What he saw next was a goblin about the same height as a small child broke the window and crawled his way in.
The goblin, armed with a club stood there, looked around.
It started to smile once it saw a lady sitting there.
The goblin attacked and killed anything that got in his way.
As you would expect when something happens, everyone ran.
They ran out the door, and the goblin trying to kill as much humans as possible.
In the end there was only 2 people left in the shop.
Timothy, and the barista.
