When Jack opened his eyes all he saw was pitch black.
His body shivered in the cold empty area. He felt a tiny hint of warmth to his right. He turned around and felt a small object by the side of his hand. He picked it up and looked closer at it. In the darkness it almost looked purple, a tiny spec of dark purple almost invisible in the lack of light.
After pocketing the strange orb thing into his blazer's inner pocket he called out "Hello, any body there I think my leg is broken. Please help me!"
Only the cold and darkness replied. He was sure he had seen the others in his class fall down here as well. He decided to shuffle on hands and knees looking for something, anything. Again all that came was a horrible eerie stillness.
Jack searched for a day and a half, only then did he find the door.
Once he felt the door he was elated, finally something in this endless darkness!
His numb fingers felt up the frame, the door felt slightly basic for being in this endless chasm. His fingers slid onto the handle he pushed with all his might, which was very little as he hadn't eaten for a day and he was numb from the cold.
The door slid open perfectly, it must have been amazingly well balanced.
FINALLY LIGHT! He couldn't make out any shapes but saw something move. He antagonizingly pulled himself through the door with his right hand. He heard whispered mutterings. He would have called for help but his throat was raw and dry from no water, crying and shouting for help.
once he was fully through the door he heard trumpets blare.

A feeling of forigen warmth flushed over Jack. His left arm stopped hurting and his leg straightened out. His throat was soothed and hydrated. He was pulled up by invisible hands. All around he heard sighs of relief. The trumpets blared a second time.
